Portrait for my DST mod character Wyneer for his Amber Mask. Amber's main perk is that they can teleport around - I always picture them doing this by opening little orange gem shaped portals but idk if I'll be able to ever make that a reality in the game...

It really sucks to ask for help that way, but I ran out of plans what to do.

I wish it could end WAY faster, but unfortunately I'm still during autism diagnosis process, and additional visits are expensive as hell. My mom was the first to convince to fund me the diagnosis process, but after the last visit she's very against it.

I have less than a half of the price needed for the next appointment at the end of April, and all I want is this post reaching more people, reblogs/reshares will be GREATELY appreciated, please take care ♡

Can Wyneer eat the eternal fruit cake or even he has limits

He actually hates fruitcake/plum puddings/adjacent and will not eat the fruitcake.

Wyneer loves cakes and desserts, but trends towards liking disgustingly sweet things that are generally for kids.

If the Eternal Fruitcake was instead some fruitless unholy abomination encased in so much sugar that nobody would eat it because it would kill them, he would eat it. (And then he would die.)

The funniest part about this is that some of the masks' responses to it imply that they'd be willing to give it a go but Wyneer was like YOU'RE NOT PUTTING THAT IN MY MOUTH BOY.

Thank you for asking! My surgery went really well (I was a gigantic pussy but I was very brave about it) and I'm over the worst of it. I still have stitches in my hand, but I can draw a little bit at a time now and I'm very relieved!

The pain in my arm hasn't completely gone away, but it's already SOOOO much better than the pain I had before the surgery. Like I can't believe how much better I feel already.

I will still try to take it easy and work on stuff slowly until my stitches are gone. It turns out having those in your palm sucks ass for drawing actually.

I found out with very little notice that my carpal tunnel surgery is scheduled for Monday, so I won't be able to work on art or writing for a while (probably until the new year) while my hand recovers.

Feel free to send me asks in the meantime if you'd like, but be aware that it may take me time to answer them if I have a lot to say and I'm not able to type.

Any mask do you feel deserves more love (or by the contrary: a mask that gets more attention than you think it should)

Who needs more love? Lay. I did him so dirty. I gave him a boring design and now it's too late to redesign him. He looks so lame but everybody who I talk to about the masks regularly is like "oooh Lay is one of my favourites!!" Writing wise, he is one of the most compelling ones. But most of my friends are artists and people don't draw him because he's boring and hard to draw. EVEN I HATE DRAWING HIM. I'M SORRY LAY…

Honourable mention goes to Azure and Fright: I ironed out a lot about them while writing their TH pages, and I 'get' them now and I think they deserve more attention. I just can't give them that attention since I physically can't draw.

Out of the masks who tend to be popular, I think Crimson deserves more love than he gets. Like when I ask people for their top three masks he consistently gets mentioned but I never hear people say he's their favourite.

The thing is, the ways in which I am told by actual real people why they overlook characters like Crimson and Lay are the same as why Survivors in-universe also tend to treat them poorly, so it's not a bad thing!

You should love Crimson though. He's literally nice.

Less love? Viridian is a fraud. He had fans before I even finished making him? He had fans before I even liked him?? I really like him now but I had people telling me he was their fav as I was actively scrapping and redesigning him??? LOL????

Boutey tends to get a lot of attention and I don't know why. I guess people like how he looks? Like Azure and Fright I don't think I 'got' what made him compelling until I wrote his TH page. I guess if people see him and just immediately like him for his design then that's in-character.

I think the other masks are about what I would expect. If you're thinking about Blake right now I'm going to need you to stop.
