The amazon have the Azi and Crowley Finale photo in another format on their site and look! I zoomed on the newspaper that Azi is holding and look! It's "The Tadfield Advertiser", the boys are back in Tadfield! 👀❤

Throwing some idea snippets for the GO3 Finale into the round (based on the things we saw so far).

What if in this scene Azi confesses his feelings but its also a goodbye?

Like the book of life is gone and now things are disappearing (and I guess people too?).

Azi and Crow are investigating, trying to fix everything, having their little adventure to repair their friendship again BUT even if they stop the source, the world is basically riddled with holes now.

And after stopping the second apocalypse Heaven + Hell probably still want to bash each others heads in and put the people on Earth in danger.

Again and again and again. Till one side wins.

Crowley is right, Azi can't change anything.

He can't change the minds of angels and demons and he can't stop the apocalypse.

So they've come to a decision

to reset/rewrite the timeline with a combined miracle and let go of this one. Nothing lasts forever, right? So Azi confesses his feelings, they have a heart to heart talking about the things they always wanted to say to the other because they both knew everything will be different as soon as they do the miracle.

Will they exist in this new timeline? Will they know each other?

When the new timeline happens all the people that disappeared are back. The world is back to normal, except there are no angels and demons, no Apocalypse and no supernatural powers anymore (exept maybe for God herself).

Just humans.

We see familiar faces again like Michael, Uriel, Sandalphon, Dagon etc. all being humans, not knowing they were once angels/demons.

And somewhere there is s little bookshop, owned by a kind, grey haired middle-aged man who welcomes another man with black outfit and red hair (not hellish red but natural ginger color).

This is where the story ends. Either with them meeting for the first time as humans and leaving it open-ended OR (a much better idea from a lovely person on Insta) it is a timeskip and they already found each other again, living a happy married life.

Maybe this is human Crowley picking up his husband and they drive back to their cottage. Maybe it even ends with the shot of the tree with A+C and a heart written on it.

This way we have the cottage and garden ending (it starts, as it will end, in a garden).

OOOOOO THIS GOES WITH A THEORY I THOUGHT ABOUT THE OTHER DAY

My theory is that Aziraphale’s line has to be a major foreshadow.

I don’t want to think about in the context of their relationship (haha depression), but quite literally in reference to the bookshop, and expanding figuratively that to Heaven and Hell and their feud.

As a biological angel, Aziraphale should be on board with the fact that “eternity” does exist. He should believe in life eternal, glory eternal, God eternal.

But instead of saying

“Some thing’s don’t last forever”

he says

“Nothing lasts forever”

I know I may be overthinking it here but having such an all encompassing phrase, especially as an eternal being, is very… off brand.

My honest opinion and I’m sure many others have seen it too, is that both Aziraphale and Crowley have developed very human tendencies, mentalities? They act and think a lot more human that any of the other demons and angels.

And the “nothing last forever” is a very very human way of thinking.

In the end, they both care about the Earth and humanity deeply, and for each other very deeply, and I believe they’d they’d do anything to save what they have, even if that means erasing the existence of Heaven and Hell.

Because ultimately, nothing lasts forever

But that’s just a theory :)

Summary: Aziraphale likes the eggnog the Dirty Donkey serves in December and reminisces.

Excerpt

“You know, it’s rather marvellous, but this eggnog— Do you remember that Christmas party in the early 1700s? We were both there for work, a Mr Moore, I think.” Crowley nods wordlessly and takes a sip of his scotch. His gaze never leaves Aziraphale’s face, despite the sunglasses the angel can tell with ease; a benefit one reaps from millennia of practice. “This eggnog the Donkey is serving, it tastes exactly like the one we had then.” “Really? What a lucky coincidence.” Crowley is the picture of nonchalance as he takes another sip and puts down his glass. But Aziraphale pays attention, and there is the faintest twitch to the corners of his mouth. He gasps and points a finger at Crowley. “It was you!”

Crowley was still positioning himself over the table when he felt Aziraphale’s soft voice close to his ear. “I would have thought you’d go for the black one, seven points would do you good.”

A few things happened at once. Crowley turned his head in shock and at the very same moment he struck; then his cue hit the cue ball so hard that it shot off the table, dragging the green ball with it. Finally, Crowley stumbled on the table himself.

“Foul,” Shadwell announced with a snigger.

“What the fuck, Aziraphale!” Crowley whined.

“Oh, shush, dear. Now, I’ll show you supposedly.”
