12 for the ask game. What’s your favourite kind of hypnotic induction?

My preferences on inductions always tend to skew toward what's engaging narratively for a story, so I really like inductions that pair well with the classic "Look Me In The Eye When I'm Speaking To You".

Is it tropey and cliche? Yeah.

Does it speak to immediately playing with power dynamics? Yeah.

Does it allow one to embed imagery about eyes being windows to the soul and using hypnosis to intertwine one's soul with another? Hell yeah.

Also need to be On-Brand mention this regarding snakefolk. Snakefolk are cool. I find Kaa boring but I can't deny that his presence in The Jungle Book had unforeseen consequences.

I LOVE CLASSIC TROPES!!! some people think they're cringe but you can pry them from my cold dead hands cause they're my faves C:
