Sorry for the delay, it's a busy day at work 😵‍💫 But the rumors of Pokopia news today were true! The Bubbly Basin DLC will be available in August this year, along with a Dive mechanic available to all players, and more features coming later this year, as well as a second DLC town in 2027!

There's an early purchase bonus for a Ditto print recipe, and there'll also be an additional code given for 30 rare metal ingots, for those buying the DLC!

I heard rumors about there being Pokopia DLC news this week, I wonder if they might reveal that here if they're true. We're likely not getting another Pokemon Presents for a while. Not until Worlds anyway.

Skyloft-inspired Pokopia build update! Finished the first house and my little farm area, did some landscaping on the plaza, and put a waterfall in the sky. I also realized that Batreaux's cabin was too obviously placed, so I moved it further beneath the island and hid the pathway entrance in the shack behind the graveyard like I should have done from the start 😛

I live! I'm so sorry for being away for so long. It's been one family emergency after another (and some overlapping) for months and months. random life lessons that i've learned through this i wish to pass forward: Please please please get power of attorney over your old people so when they go nuts you can help them. Also if your dog starts to try to barf but nothing comes up and he won't eat even his favorite things and he has a bloated belly, for the love of God, take them strait to the emergency vet because they may be dead by morning if nothing is done. It's called GDV and it's a nightmare. Also please get pet insurance if you can. Luckily my dog survived!

can we be done with color customization needing single use materials? like I’m so sick of having to wait to unlock paint. So many games already have magic of some sort so can’t we just explain away the ability to magically change item colors? I’m very willing to suspend my belief to be able to easily recolor items.

I’m so done with having to stumble into colors randomly, or having to buy multiple versions of items to get all the colors, or having a craft system.

pokopia is literally the worst recolor system ever. It’s so tedious. Find all the berries, spend rare resources to reproduce them, farm them, give them to a pokemon with crush, then take them to smeargle to recolor. It’s so incredibly exhausting. And I haven’t even mentioned the worst part which is you can’t get black or white paint on purpose, it’s a random chance!

I’ve heard you can unlock infinite paint buying at the pc but omfg having like a 5 step process just to color an item is doing too much!

like I was already annoyed with the animal crossing system of needing custom kits and trading with other players. baldur’s gate was annoying too until we got access to mods. The recolor thing in games is just a pet peeve of mine so the pokopia system is a nightmare lol

I do think the idea and working with pokemon that way was clever and cute and I still love the game but I’m just so tired lol
