I used to think that my horses werenât something I could lose a good man over. That I could never make him feel like he had to compete with my horses and my goals involving them. Truth is, a good man would support those goals, and wouldnât be jealous or angry because of the time I spend with my horses. A good man would recognize how hard Iâve been working to reach my goals, and support me in any way he can. Because a good man just wants to see you glowing and overflowing with happiness from the inside out. A good man wonât try to take things away from you so he will be the only thing left to give credit to when your happy⌠but trust me, you wonât be happy. A good man will let you be free to chase your dreams and be there to pick you up when you stumble, or give you that push in the right direction when you start veering off, away from what sets your heart on fire⌠because heâs listened to you, he knows what you want and deserve and wants even more than that for you. A good man will be just as passionate and relentless as you are with his own goals, he wonât look for recognition and pats on the back⌠because a good man is a humble man. Be his number 1 biggest fan anyways, knowing that he is indifferent when it comes to being the star of the show because he isnât chasing these goals just to look a certain way to people, but make him the star of your show anyways, because you know what itâs like to put entire heart into something. So, my horses are something I would lose a guy over. I have no problem with that. Why? Because a good man wouldnât make me think about making that choice in the first place.
