I spent 9 days in Manila

What an experience.

This weekend has been great. I had a whole house to clean and organise in order to have it show home ready as my landlords have decided to sell, but I did not let that stop me from taking a couple hours break from the scrubbing and going on an adventure with the kids to Waro Lake Reserve in Hikurangi. We enjoyed a simple yet delicious lunch at the local cafe. The seafood chowder melted in my mouth I honestly feel like returning there next weekend with the man's so he can try it out too. Mixing work and pleasure breaks never felt so good.
