-looks up at her- Hmm? -looks around and grins- So they are. Who says I was going back to Gryffindor though?

It is rather late. Can’t imagine why you’d go anywhere any other than your dorm… -swings the door shut, leaning against a railing-

-raises an eyebrow at her- And just where were you heading at this hour, Luce?

…The Gryffindor common room.

-chuckles, pleased to have called her out- Well that’s definitely not your dorm. But don’t worry -winks- I won’t say anything. Want company on your walk there?

-rolls her eyes, nodding- Thanks.

-grins- Definitely not a problem, dear. How’s Boyd then? That is who you’re going to see right?

Not at all… I was actually planning on visiting Vic. -scrunches her nose, obviously lying- Boyd’s doing well, I think. -purses her lips- We’ve been so busy with work lately.

-frowns slightly- Vic, huh? Glad you two are getting along, then. It's a pretty fast turnaround though, isn't it. But who am I to say, it's not like I spend all my time with the two of you. And it's just a plus that you'll get to see Boyd when you visit her.

Sleepover ||James & Charlotte

“Bigger issues?” she asked. She winked again at his raised eyebrow and watched his eyes scroll down and then back up to her eyes. “It’s not fun unless it’s interesting,” she added easily. Talking about it was easy. She had experience with joking with blokes all the time. Blokes joked with her about it often, especially Scorpius. He had a reason for the joking however. But as he looked down at her she wondered what he was thinking about, what might happen from their situation. They had the whole night ahead of them… Charlotte realized she never planned for things to go past the friend line with blokes; with her, more often than not it just happened. She assumed James was no exception, but her thoughts turn onto her own actions, realizing that she could just as easily stop all the things that happen with her and other blokes if she wanted. She turned back at the sound of his voice and replied to him in an instant, “I enjoy being controlled.” She paused for a moment before lifting a hand and poking his chest, “So now what?”

"Yup, bigger issues," he replied, nodding, though he didn't explain his statement. "And you're certainly right on that, it needs to be interesting to be fun for sure." He was quiet for a moment, trying to assess the situation they were in fully. Sure, James liked to flirt, and they were doing a fine job of that now, and yes, he liked to go further, but he wasn't sure he wanted to try that out at the moment, especially with the other things he had going for him. His eyebrows shot up in surprise at her response to his statement, but he quickly grinned. "Good to know for future reference, then," he said. He looked down to her hand at his chest, and then back to her, wondering what exactly they would do. "I'm not sure, but if you'd like to control instead of being controlled, I'm not sure I would mind."

She felt another smile cross her lips at his change of attitude. “Hardly, I’m a big girl I can handle myself.” She shifted a little under him and pulled her hands up to cross them at her chest and smile up at him. “I do, I have to say being on bottom is ideal. Don’t get me wrong I’m all about doing half the work, sometimes I just like to get worked on.” She winked, grinning with a mischievous expression. She chuckled at his words and thought momentarily about how over flirtatious she could be with some of the more handsome boys, not that James needed to hear more about how handsome he was. She licked her lips and resisted the urge to nibble at his skin. She considered it being because she was hungry or because she started to nibble and bite when things lead in that direction. She pushed her thoughts away silently, no need to heat things up.

"I'm glad that you can handle yourself or else we'd have bigger issues," he said, smiling pleasantly back at her. He raised an eyebrow at her statement, mostly amused by the situation. "Get worked on, huh?" he asked, looking down at her body then back to her eyes. "Interesting way to put it, Char." James was slightly uncertain where to go next with their situation, sure he could talk for ages about things that might or might not happen, but the fact of the matter was that he wasn't quite sure where this was going. When he'd first suggested this whole thing he'd really meant it as first a joke, then something only slightly less than innocent. But with the way things were turning out it could go anywhere. "Though, I dunno, I quite like being on top. Have more control on the situation anyway."

She took a deep breath, eyes still shut closed and her lips parted softly. After a second she realized she wasn’t hurt, or at least not much and she flicked hers eyes open before unclenching her empty hands. Her green eyes flickered towards her hands noticing the indents from her nails on her palm. She turned back to him and a smile easily crossed against her lips. “You kidding? I fall all the time. It’s natural.” Her lips closed and she smiled softly at his expression. “Honest. I’m fine.” A warm feeling danced in her stomach at his concern and she flicked it off easily, curious as to what the Potter was planning.

James sighed in relief when as she explained she was fine, he didn't want their night to end so early all at his own fault. "Good," he said cheerfully. "Glad I didn't hurt you, could've ended badly." He grinned, then, and propped himself up a bit on his elbows so his full weight wasn't resting on her. "I quite like this position though, don't you?" He winked at her, his eyes alight. "Not quite how I normally want to get here, but it works all the same." James wasn't exactly sure what was going to happen between the two of them, but he was fairly certain that it was going to continue to be an interesting evening, if the former antics of the night held any indication.

“You keep fooling yourself into thinking that,” she muttered with a smirk. She felt the pillow collide with something and she smiled knowing it was him. His shout over made her arms rip back to hit him again. She laughed at him heartily, “Have some fun!” She grinned until she felt him tackle her. Her body went into autopilot as she registered a bludger hitting her off her broom. From body memorization, she closed her eyes and clenched her fists tightly. Her brain knew the fall wouldn’t be long and she grunted fiercely as the two hit the ground, with her beneath him.
