"if there is a crime i'd be half decent at.. it'd be grand theft," there's something of a mix between a giggle and an awkward shy-like noise that leaves her. besides, who would suspect a polite girl that would be apologizing with puppy dog eyes while still actively stealing? she literally has the most convincing 'i-didn't-do-it' expression. her members to this day are still trying to figure out who stole the chocolate, and her boyfriend has long given up when it comes to the missing snacks he just grabbed. it was only the ghost he's been trying to befriend for months finally joining him for a chat, don't you think? he seems to believe so.

"case dismissed, your honor. she clearly bowed to the security cameras on her way out after thanking the bank teller for their patronage. she is innocent !"

🍓 — honestly when it comes to formal writing i'm better at focusing in on the details. on the surface, chaewon can be rather bubbly and loud. she's notorious for her bright mischievous personality but when it comes down to it she can be incredibly nurturing. she is le sserafim's leader after all. it just shows differently than how most "leaders" typically showcase themselves. instead, she will be more the type to listen and remember the small details. the type to do small check ins with her members by sitting close to them or gently nudging. she'd even go the extra mile to make sure each person has their voice shown. this was shown especially during the documentary when the girls were dealing with the massive hate trains and passing out behind stage. she really did ignore her own problems to make sure every one else were getting the platform and help they needed.

that's why i think it'd be a blink and you miss situation. her brighter personality can sometimes overshadow just how good of a leader she can be. i think a lot of people tend to forget her position in the group and how seriously she takes it.

today felt like any other day—well, if you ignored the heavy snowstorm blanketing the world outside. chaewon sat curled on her boyfriend’s sofa, eyes fixed on the game glowing on her phone. beside her, he lounged with his head tipped over the back of the couch, uncharacteristically quiet. it was strange, especially for someone usually so loud and clingy with her. nearly two hours passed without a single comment, and the silence slowly began to grate on her, distracting her until she could hardly focus on the quest anymore.

eventually she let the device fall onto the table and shifted herself into his lap. though he didn’t stir at the sudden weight, barely reacting at all. his hands simply found her waist out of habit, while the rest of him sunk further back into sleep. guilt flickered in her chest at the sight of how exhausted he clearly was—but it didn’t last long. her need for attention won out easily, evident in the slow kisses she pressed just beneath his jaw.

“oppa,” she murmured against his skin. his quiet, sleepy “mmm?” drew a giggle to the back of her throat.

“i’m hungry.”
