Kanye on Ellen
Kanye West appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show yesterday, and it started out innocently enough, with him discussing his kids and his Twitter usage. (No, Ellen, he would not prefer a âBoard of Directorsâ have the final veto on his tweets.)
Then everything went Kanye: He passionately discussed fashion as an issue on par with the environment, theorizing that working with Payless on making new designer threads for kids could help stop bullying. He continued his plea to the Zuckerbergs that teaming up financially could help make the world a better place. He saluted Phife Dawg, trashed the tone-deaf Oscars, and name-dropped his buddy Obama, along with usual regulars of his diatribes: Walt Disney, Steve Jobs, and Michael Jackson. Of the latter, he theorized that someday people will be calling him Wacko Kanye. He apologized for his realness. At one point, Ellen referred to The Life of Pablo as a CD.
Then they played a game of â5 Second Ruleâ and, tasked to name three things that are hairy, he responded âBalls, balls, balls.â Watch the segments below. (via spin.com)
Our journey, like most, has seen its fair share of inclement weather. At times we have found ourselves in the middle of what seams like a stretch of great days then, without warning, snow falls. On the other hand, we have also experienced 60 degree days in the middle of December. For our 10 Year Anniversary project with Vans Vault we have decided to draw our inspiration from nature itself, more specifically, the change in seasons in the Midwest. Our Half Cab LX takes on the moniker of "10 Seasons" to represent the unpredictable weather patterns in Ohio, with the colors representing both Spring and Fall.
Our take on the popular silhouette combines Tectuff - an all-weather material designed to keep your foot dry and warm - with nylon, French terry and premium leathers, creating a shoe that is functional enough to be worn year around. The pair also share ten subtle details between the two shoes, with each detail paying homage to a different milestone from our 10 Year history. Tied up with your choice of a boot lace for the Winter, or a premium waxed lace for the warmer seasons; this shoe was built for whatever the day may bring.. So embrace your journey.
Thank you for 10 Years.. we are just getting warmed up. #Sc10Seasons

My thoughts: The good folks over at SC have done it again! I was very curious to see what they would do for the 10th year anniversary of the shop, and they didnât disappoint. I can always appreciate the time, effort and back story that goes into their collabs with Vans; Which I personally thinks helps the desire for people to cop.... Personally I have never owned a pair (of Vans) but I definitely wouldnât mind this being my fair pair (or any of the SCxVans collabs for that matter). Iâm sure they have plenty more tricks up their sleeves for the 10th anni, weâll just have to stay tuned!

Usually I donât do song reviews but man....This is different. Iâm not even sure if I can do an album review for TLOP (itâs that damn perplex). When I finally seen the album appear on TIDAL, I was anxious; For days âYe had said it would be out so for me the anticipation was CRAZY! Then as I clicked to open the album and âUltra Light Beamsâ started to play my jaw just instantly dropped. I couldnât believe what I was hearing. It was like a musical masterpiece, as I continued to listen I then came upon Chanceâs voice and from there I lost it. I had to of played the song 50 times back-to-back (no Drake though). This song is nothing short of amazing man seriously, from lyrics to production, to the beat, and precisely timed innuendos. Make sure you download TIDAL and listen to TLOP if you havenât I promise you wonât be disappointment. If you are like me you really enjoy knowing what you are listening to, so above I have attached the rap genius annotations to help you understand appreciate this wonderful piece of art. The project has something for everyone....Thank you again Mr. West.
