World’s Largest Vertical Garden Sets Guinness Record at Singapore’s Tree House
Located in a quiet corner of Singapore’s District 23, Tree House is a 24-storey condo building that boasts the world’s largest vertical garden and features state-of-the-art sustainable technologies and elements such as heat-reducing windows and motion sensors that automatically activate lights. The vertical garden will reduce the estate’s carbon footprint by filtering pollutants and carbon dioxide out of the air. The green exterior wall will reduce heat absorption, which could result in energy savings of between 15 and 30 percent.
Active members of our SSEA, University of Calabar, Nigeria - Chapter. Their Chapter, carried out a grand-scale event in a project they dubbed, "iCare4ME" ("I Care For Mother Earth"), the highlight of which involved outreach and education of environmental concerns to thousands of Nigerians who were gathering outside of U. J. Esuene Stadium to commemorate the 53rd anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The University of Ibadan SSEA Chapter hosted a picnic with an environmental talk. It was a deliberate attempt to strengthen interpersonal relationship among members On Friday, 6 March, we successfully hosted a picnic, which was accompanied by an environmental talk.
