It’s a lovely place to browse or sit and read.

I decided to peek into the mass market perfume industry and see what all was going on there, if there was anything worth smelling or better yet, worth buying, and I was stopped in my tracks by this Disney-Villain-Ass lookin' faceted emerald green glass heart. Motherfucker smells good too, goddamnit.

As an aside about perfumes, I don't understand why anyone wears Eau de Parfum anymore. For those who aren't aware, Eau de Parfum is the highest concentration of fragrance. You spray something with that, it will smell of that parfum FOREVER.

Parfum was invented before people took regular baths. Parfum is heavy and overpowering, designed to cover-up other unpleasant smells. But it is SO STRONG that it can overpower your friends during a car ride or in small enclosed spaces, ruin people's meals at restaurants and give people headaches.

Once people started taking regular showers and started smelling better in general, Eau De Toilette was introduced. Eau de Toilette is a lighter, less concentrated version of the fragrance. It will not cause your friend's meals to taste of perfume. It disperses faster, and if you spray it on clothing it will not smell like that forever.

Parfum is something I would put on in a WIDE OPEN SPACE, if I wanted my friends to find me, while wearing blindfolds.

Wear Parfum at a concert! Somewhere open and airy with little to no food around.

If you must wear a fragrance, wear Eau de Toilette. And if you're going out to eat, please use it sparingly. Eau de Toilette is cheaper too, so save some money and save your friends a headache in the car.
