y’all it’s ready.…. this project I’ve worked on for over a year now, it’s actually done
DRUM ROLLLLLL HERE IT IS
🐉 Medieval manuscript dragon pins!!! 🐉
For many years I’ve been enamored with medieval illumination. it’s just so… spunky? Animal depictions are famously pretty wild in these manuscripts since often times the monks drawing them had never seen the animal before, and were only going off of a description of them from someone else. Dragons are a different story though, because…well they’re not real. You can do just about anything you want! And they’re such a fun and interesting concept bundled as a blank canvas for whatever creativity your heart desires!!
in short, I love this shit!!!! dragons are cool and so is art history!!! they’re weird little guys!!!!! sooooo I made pins out of them!! and now I’m putting them on kickstarter!!
here’s a big ole scroll of all the pins and the stories behind them, please enjoy!!
Launching on Kickstarter on 1/18!! here’s the pre-launch page so you can follow it!
if you like small artists, art history, pins, dragons, and…small artists making art history dragon pins, well by gum you’re on the right post! these pins will be available after the kickstarter campaign too but the prices will be a little higher, so now’s the time to take advantage of that kickstarter special if you’re interested!
