Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid meets my fabulous little sample of Smashbox Insta-matte. When I got the Insta-matte in my ipsy box, I have to admit I shrugged my shoulders and figured it would be one of those things that accumulated in my linen closet and played with my other goodies. Layer that week, though, I put on my new maybelline lip color and thought, "Ehhh, that's way too glossy and messy looking,". DING! 💡 SAY, I thought to myself. You have just the thing. Oh. My. God. I love it. It's so simple, but it instantly not only mattes but softens the color and overall look immediately. It took my bold, in your face lip color and just 🍑 fuzzed the shit out of it in the best kind of way. The texture of the Insta-matte reminds me a lot of Maybelline's "Baby Skin" primer (reviews on THAT incredible product coming soon) and I'm already planning on doing a side by side comparison with smashbox insta-matte and baby skin over lip color to see if it's a potential dupe, because 💰💸, ammiright? Highly recommend both products!
LIME (IT SHOULD BE A) CRIME METALLIC POSH 💕How I love thee. Heaven. Lime Crime Velvetines are the shit. They're drying, like many liquid to matte lipsticks, and exfoliating those lips are a serious must, or you're going to be flaking immediately. The lasting power is seriously good, though, and the color is like some ethereal creature's skin.
Www.shopmissa.com haul! I am so impressed with the texture of this scarf that I've already ordered about 6 more of different colors. Everything came exactly as described...oh, did I mention, EVERYTHING COSTS A DOLLAR. No, really. The only items that aren't $1 are bags full of items that equal to $1 power item (ie a bag with ten brushes for $10). Get it? You get it. And, no, I'm not doing near well enough to get paid to do a review, so I'm in the level, ladies and gents 👌🏻
I'm still on the fence about Maybelline fitme foundation: some days or is absolutely incredible and some days it is just a flat, matte, flaky mess. SO I've decided to wear it (shades 120 and 125) and take pictures without any filters or editing to make a final decision. This was worn using nivea after shave balm as a primer.
Okay guys, I took a little Hiatus, but now I’m back, from outer space, I’m here to tell you all the things that I’ve tried on my face.
Today I’m doing a cheap bitch review: E.L.F Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser.
I loathe taking care of my skin and washing my makeup off every single night makes me seriously question just HOW bad aging like a freshly staked vampire would really be.
If I can find something simple, affordable, and lazy person approved without destroying my sensitive “should-have-been-born-rich” skin, then I'm in business.
**okay, so the idea is that you take this gel, smear it all over your face and neck, and then “activate” it (we getting futuristic, y'all) with warm water by using your finger tips to gently lather the gel in little circles.
The gel feels like a light vaseline: greasy, but not too heavy.
I went ahead and just slathered that crap all over, skin, lips, eye makeup, the works, and then “activated” the hell out of it and latherrred, y'all.
Felt nice, not too shabby, until I got to the eye lashes. As soon as it hit my mascara, it gunked up. It felt like I had some bizarre, hard clumps forming and so I just took my fingers and rubbed them against my face (like the professionals, I’m sure) until I didn’t feel the clumps anymore.
All in all, it did a pretty good job, despite the bizarre sensation in the eyelashes. My face was painfully bare at the end, it’s cheap, and it didn’t take long at all.
For something that felt so greasy, my skin felt fairly tight and even a little dry, so I took a picture and hopped on that moisturizer, pronto.
I recommend it, although there are definitely better products out there. In my opinion, is better than micellar water, though.
I have a huge shipment coming from www.shopmissa.com with plenty of goodies to review, including a neat, cheap rubber facial cleaner, which I’m eager to review!
I’ll be reviewing Milky Piggy Bubble Mask and Hell Pore next review time!

Hello, dears. Let me tell you a story. It’s a chilling story; a story of arrogance, pain and 30v developer gone wrong. But don’t worry, it’s also a tale of redemption. Buckle up.

So I decided, hey, I want to go back to blonde and experiment with some watercolor-esque tips. I’ve used ddl in the past worth decent results on blue hair, so I decided to give it a go. However.
However.
I got home from Sally’s beauty supply to discover I only had 30v developer and not 20v, because 30v is what I use to bleach my dark hair.
“Oh well,” I think, “extra strength”.

Big.
Mistake.

Not only did the color barely budge (from a rich magenta to a harsh flaming highlighter pink), and not only did it PARTIALLY bleached my natural roots (WTF?), BUT I FRIED MY HAIR. So BADLY. Don’t believe me? Check out those pictures above. No teasing involved. In fact, almost no brushing because it was breaking into tiny little dandelion spores and floating off somewhere to reproduce and grow pink, damaged dandelions in a neighboring field.

I.almost.freaked.

But, thank the gods, I had purchased some Olaplex and received it just the day before. I wasn’t intending on using it so soon, but desperate times, desperate measures, my friend. Whoa.

So I doused my signed and sizzling locks in life-saving Olaplex (per the super simple directions) and let it sit awhile before rinsing. Judgement? HAIR still damaged…But SO, SO much better. I’m not sure I would have kept my length without olaplex. Bad, bad, corner-cutting hair-girl.

The terror wasn’t over, though. I still had ridiculously patchy roots (what on earth, ddl? Okay AND me) that I had to bleach (bleach on this hair right now?) And then I had to do something about the color…
Bleached the roots gently (SO not very well) and layered nrage twisted teal, purple plum, and Pravana vivids yellow (to make the teal extra green). The color faded VERY quickly (two weeks?), likely due to the fact that I didn't have the guts to bring such damaged hair to white blonde before coloring, BUT it faded in an exceptionally aesthetic way, so I was pleased. (Also, there is a glimpse of my undercut, BUT it was not done well at all, so I'm going to have it fixed before I show it off)
This color faded so well! (Neon red and feisty fuchsia with purple plum accents) it was gorgeous and I'll definitely doo it again. But then I got an undercut and started feeling rebellious and I did a thing. A bad thing. Fortunately I fixed it. But you've been warned. Let me tell you the story of the bad thing I did...(check out that lime crime cashmere neutral in pic 2, though. Amiright?)

Gorgeous color and blending! This is what I'm talking about!
HAIR UPDATE: This is what I LOVE about nrage feisty fuschia. It just gets brighter and more vibrant, the more washes it goes through. Just an update on the color. I'm going to really experiment with the neon red and fuschia and bubblegum pink next. I'll be positively flirting.

Dat color
Freshened up the color and switched it up a little. That neon red with that pink goes so much better than I expected!

Look at this beautiful shit. How am I supposed to grow my hair out when I see stuff like this?!
