disco elysium hyperfix goes hard, so i painted an ??interior copy?? of pain threshold for my room, and then i copied volition for @ssspinachhh (we play the game together)

i get why volition was made, it's my friend's favorite abillity. i didn't really get why i chose pain threshold for myself.

harry's physical abillities amaze me, and i wanted to paint one to motivate me more in sports. and at the moment, pain threshold just vibed with me. but the more i think of this copy, the more i realize how my life is affected by my curiosity how much pain, both physical and psychological, i can handle. and i can handle A LOT. so turns out it suits me pretty well

when i was five or six years old, i was going for a walk with my dad once again. i really loved our walks, because dad always was telling something interesting - stories from his childhood, jokes, moments from his favorite films, songs and poems, his thoughts on life. i think this time we were talking about death and burials. and i asked - what's going to happen when the earth will run out of soil for graves? dad said that there are only ashes left from some people, and these ashes are put in a can, sometimes buried, sometimes not. i don't exactly remember the words, but i still remember the feeling of horror from his answer, and the picture that appeared in my head. my grandpa was a smoker, and he had a metal coffee can for cigarette ashes and butts. and in my head an image of human ashes in a can were exactly like grandpa's coffee can full of cigarette ashes. a cemetery for cremated people was a field lined with these cans.
