Had an idea:
While Darcy can only really bring themselves to the table after joining the Circus of Apathy, Belos hasn't quite managed to burn all his bridges the same way (despite his best efforts), as there's definitely still people on the Boiling Isles who'd be either fanatical or opportunistic enough to follow him again if he showed up. Thus, jailbreak.
This post isn't quite about that though. It actually leads into an episode idea;
Alice's New Groove
Tulip and Data Alice are tasked with following a lead on one of the missing BI villains, taking them to a newly discovered world called the "Empire of the Sun." Soon after they arrive, they manage to corner their target, Kikimora, in the jungle, but she manages to get away by chucking a Chinchilla potion in Tulip's face.
So now Alice has to be the main combatant until they can figure out how to change Tulip back. Fortunately they know exactly which movie this is, so they just have to find Pacha and Kuzco (and endure Kuzco's character arc) and they're golden.
Also, as you'd expect by her using one of the animal potions Kikimora is working with Yzma and Kronk. What you probably didn't expect is that she isn't working for the CoA (she was not about to join another one of Phil's cults after what he did to her last time). Instead she's teamed up with Vanitas and, of all people, the version of Wario from Avatar Kirby's universe. No idea how they even met him, let alone how or why they've all joined forces.
I imagine that Kairi was lowkey seething when she first saw Road Rage.
Don't get her wrong, she loves having Destiny's Embrace, but let's face it, it's frilly and pretty and delicate-looking when everyone else gets default Keyblades that are cool or intimidating or at least practical. Dealing with that on top of how the narrative treats her is kind of Not Great!
So she finds out that there's a new girl joining the ranks and she's rich and into fashion and she got her Keyblade while being put through the Damsel in Distress Treatment and Kairi figures she'll actually have someone to commiserate with on this bullshit-
-and then Tulip comes in lugging around a fully functional engine block!
Oh absolutely, yeah. Poor Tulip is probably wondering why Kairi's visibly vibrating while smiling so tightly and Kairi's internal monologue is just "I COULD'VE HAD AN ENGINE BLOCK?????" Honestly Tulip probably knows how the narrative treats Kairi and if she can, lets her swing around Road Rage for a bit.
"You two are disgusting, you know that?"
Juliano nearly spat out his water. He coughed violently, thumping his fist against his chest before looking at Mandy. "What do you-" He wheezed. "What do you mean?!"
Mandy looked at Juliano, who was not wearing his usual red jacket. She looked over at Abby, who was wearing that red jacket while talking animatedly to SMG-1 and SMG-2, who seemed very absorbed by whatever they were saying. She looked back to him, raised an eyebrow, and smirked.
"Down catastrophic."
"I am NOT!" He threw the water bottle at her, making her shriek with laughter.
As the duo smacked at each other and eventually began to roll around in the rough dirt ground of the circus, Danielle watched from a distance, a smile on her lips and arms crossed. It didn't take long for Abby to drift their way over.
They blinked. "Are those two-?"
"They're siblings," Danielle assured. "Happens all the time."
Abby nodded. After a beat or too, they remarked, "I hope I'm not being a burden. I'm trying hard to contribute, but I feel like I'm leeching off of Juliano.."
"Oh, dear, no.." Danielle's voice softened as she turned to the shorter adult fully. "You're not leeching at all. You're a wonderful help, and I haven't seen Juliano smile like this in ages. You're a wonderful help. Don't you dare doubt it."
Abby smiled.
Danielle nodded with a smile of her own and turned her head, missing how the smile no longer reached Abby's eyes as their gaze solely found Julaino.
The Second Piece
Deciding that maybe they should be more careful, this time it's the present group and past group who decide to go through.
Mayro (Present Mario) is actually getting along decently well with Mario (Past Mario). Glitchy (Present SMG4) and Snitchy (Present SMG3) have already had to stop SMG4 (Past SMG4) and SMG3 (Past SMG3) from having fights about six times now. After briefing the past group on that they really, REALLY need to be careful with what they say and do even if they're in a different timeline. They do not want to get imprisoned.
Anyway, they go through and crash right down into the middle of a party happening in a very familiar (to the present group) manor.
And a very familiar avatar, with her usually straight hair now curly and covering one eye and a red dress with floral patterns. A single blue eye glaring down at them with contempt.
So yeah, their first impression of this world is getting thrown into jail since Tulip is currently running for the position of the now vacant Red Minister spot. Yup, they're in the evil Tulip timeline. It doesn't take the present gang a lot to realize what happened, even the kids can realize that this is the version of Tulip that never got Dale's guidance, and they therefore decide never to mention this to her.
Eventually, they are released from the prison after a few hours, because Tulip 'decided that they were just idiots who had a bad stroke of luck'. But they are warned not to anger her any further, as lately she's become extremely obsessed with things regarding time and other such things. It takes no genius to figure out what's going on, and it's surprisingly Mario (past) who connects the dots.

"You-a said that this crazy-a lady is dating John Persona?"
SMG4 pinched the bridge of his nose. "Ren Amamiya, Mario. Ren Amamiya. Get it through your thick skull."
Glitchy resisted the urge to roll his eyes at his past self. "Yes, Mario. John Persona."
Mario tilted his head. "Then won't-a he be a part-a this timeline in a major way?"
Everyone shared a look.
"... he's kinda got a point there."

They do manage to find Leblanc and after giving the poor Thieves the scare of a lifetime (thanks to SMG3 just being blunt as hell and also trying to threaten them, which doesn't go well as he gets smacked by Abyssal) before they explain what's going on. And then they get the explanation they were waiting for.
The Tulip of this timeline was actually a friend of theirs and wasn't really looking forward to going into politics. However.. that all completely shattered when her version of Dale was murdered. To this day the Thieves don't know if it was the Black Mask or someone sent by her parents. Regardless she was absolutely SHATTERED by what happened, and it absolutely didn't help when a woman named Goma Adachi appeared following the deaths of her parents and Archie. Suffice to say that Tulip was shattered in this timeline, and following an accident with a machine that's left her blind in one eye, she has gradually been turning from the fun and upbeat girl they knew to someone far crueler.
With what's already happened, it does not take the others long to figure out that this Goma Adachi is probably someone working for the Abyss.. and then Abyssal realizes it's prrrrobably Admin Gohma.
The Thieves tell the group that Tulip has become especially obsessed with time and other things, and Elanore reasons that it's likely the Hourglass piece that's changed her, and its gone and made itself her Treasure. Luckily for them, the Thieves are more than willing to help out as they've already pretty much mapped out the way to Tulip's Treasure, and they were making the calling card then. It's made, and Abyssal offers to go and deliver it, which they take because everyone knows that they'd be caught pretty easily, especially Morgana.

Tulip halted when she spotted a simple red card on her bed. She whipped her head side to side, eye narrowing.
".. no. This is some... terrible joke."
She slowly approached it, and grabbed it. Her breath caught, eyes widening.
Madame Tulip, the grief-stricken sinner of cruelty.
Once a girl who cherished others, you now trample hearts beneath the weight of your own despair, lashing out at the world that wronged you.

Tulip's breathing began to come in panicked hitches. "Take.. take MY desires?! No.. NO! This is a pathetic- stupid- NO!"
She threw the calling card to the wall. "I won't let them.. I won't! I don't care! No one will take it! No one will take time from me ever again!!"

The past and present groups join the Phantom Thieves to Tulip's Palace.. and to say that the fight for the Treasure is rough is an UNDERSTATMENT. Goma Adachi is there, and of course comes the reveal that she is Admin Gohma and the fact that she was not only behind the deaths of Dale, Tulip's parents, and Archie, but she also orchestrated the entire machine incident that blinded her.
This sends Tulip's Shadow into a complete meltdown and transforms into a large machine/coyote hybrid. The Palace itself starts changing, and Admin Gohma admits she may have taken some artistic liberties when messing things up. SMG3 says he's gonna kill her because ts is annoying. Snitchy agrees for once. And it turns out she also took artistic liberties with Shadow Tulip herself, making the boss fight way harder than it should be.
They only manage to get through to the Shadow when Joker appeals to her memory of Uncle Dale specifically, calming the Shadow down enough for the past and present groups to realize that the Treasure is literally embedded into Shadow Tulip, the Treasure is the Hourglass Piece, and there's the very real threat of her having a mental shutdown.
The Thieves are obviously reluctant to do so but also know that they need to, because if they leave the Treasure in her Shadow shes just going to get worse. And unfortunately, Abyssal can't help them out here either with godly shenanigans because shes currently fighting Admin Gohma still.
Finally, its Hex who just goes "this IS still a comedic universe. What if we just... ASK HER to take it off?"
No one thinks it'll work.
It does. Rule of Funny, losers. This is still SMG4 guys.
Of course, the Palace begins to crumble, and they all get out of there. In the real world, Tulip is passed out and does need to be hospitalized due to the Piece hurting her Shadow immensely when it was removed. Admin Gohma, of course, flees. Glitchy hopes this won't become a recurring theme. Snitchy tells him to not be stupid. The others return with the next Piece, but Abyssal notices something.. off.
There's an eighth door. She tries pushing it open, but it's just.. not moving. Not even a budge. What makes it especially concerning, though she doesn't bring it up immediately, is that she can faintly tell what's behind that door.
The Abyss.
She doesn't like what that entails.

Doing a final project in my stats class, we have to pick a subject and collect data on it. We need at least 100 data points, and I figured this blog is big enough that a poll on here could get to that pretty easily!

Idea: Tulip's a big Disney fan but given her lifestyle didn't really have a chance to really get into video games, and that goes double for Aite, so they weren't really all that aware of Kingdom Hearts before they got involved with the Digital Multiverse. Sora talks about his friends a lot so Tulip was at least warned ahead of time thanks to the Hell Arc, but Aite had no such luxury.

Avatar Sora Headcanons
(because we honestly don't use him enough)
You know how bad with computers he was in KH2? That has not changed, in fact it's gotten worse due to Avatar Stupidity and it extends to his Gummi Phone and Command Boxes. He texts like a grandma, takes hilariously bad photos, and constantly has to go to the Chipmunks and Lag for tech support. He's nowhere near as bad as Crash at least, his problems are usually fairly mundane, but still.
Is well aware of what was supposed to happen to him Post-KH3 and is secretly Very Worried about how that's going to be dealt with when KH4 finally eventually comes out and they have to do a parody adaptation of it.
Does Not Like Card Games. If you know you know.
Whirlpool's been living at his place. Thankfully his mom's alright with it.
There's already so many characters both already in Kingdom Hearts and in assorted Disney media that he doesn't really have that many local OC friends outside of his SMGs
Both can and can't cook. Trying to survive on the road or out in the wilderness? He's your guy. Need a five-star chef? Just don't ask where he learned those recipes if a health inspector's in earshot. But mundane everyday foods are completely out of his wheelhouse. He will burn the toast, he cannot work a grill, and we do not talk about the Mac & Cheese Incident.
Somehow Roxas's whole Sea Salt Ice Cream thing made it so Sora never developed an Avatar Food Obsession
Everyone in the Teen Squad has gotten the Ashley Treatment at least once (aside from Laharl and Ranma for obvious reasons, and Cursor since she hasn't been with them that long and has been Really Busy for most of it) and Sora felt Some Sort of Way about it but hasn't really bothered to examine those feelings yet.
He, Riku and Kairi all started dating at some point between their activation and his introduction in the Hell Arc.
He has visited the worlds of all his Summons. Most of his time in Oakey Oaks was spent being very offended on Chicken Little's behalf.
Speaking of which, Summons still work just fine in other Servers, and due to how Avatar powers interact with game mechanics Sora's got access to all of his past summons and more.
Due to how time progresses differently in some worlds, Stitch's world is currently only a couple years after Leroy & Stitch despite the fact that the first movie happened all the way back in Birth By Sleep.
The Meme Alliance
Introduced here
A union of Character-Level servers (mostly the SMG servers) who have become aware of the Digital Multiverse, and have pooled their resources to be able to stand alongside the other powers-that-be instead of constantly getting knocked around by Code-Level threats and authority figures they didn't know about or agree to follow.
(Note: Due to their Avatar, Tune Dark, being a notorious criminal, as well as the severe government corruption that led to that status, the SMG Outgunned Server is currently being kept unaware of the Digital Multiverse, and as such is the only active SMG Server to not officially be part of the Meme Alliance despite several of its inhabitants being members. It is, however, under their protection)
