Chapter 1: How to Ruin Your Reputation in 20 Seconds
The warm autumn wind hit your face as you advanced through the campus crowd, you sighed as you entered your new dorm.
The sound of the keys echoes in the hallway as you make your way to your room, thank goodness this time it's your turn with someone you get along with.
Nobara has always been tidy but when you see the mess of clothes lying on the floor you rethink it.
"Hey, everything goo-?" You say before she throws herself on you with a look begging you to help her
"Today there's going to be a super party and I have to go" she explains while you change into your pajamas
"Do you know why?" She says looking at you as if you should know why, you were really more lost than a needle in a haystack from your financial math class
"Because some boy you like is going to?" You say connecting the points
"Exactly" she speaks while trying on different types of clothes "That's why I like you so much"
You roll your eyes and open a book with which you were left halfway, she looks at you incredulously and throws a pillow at you
"How can it be that it's Friday and with the age you have to be already acting like an old lady, don't be boring, get up that ass that we're going to that party" she tells you getting her up from the bed
"I like my life like this, calm and boring" you tell her, because lately everyone threw it in your face, who cares whether you go or not to party.
"So how do you plan to find your prince charming, y/n?" she tells you reminding you of what you said when you were little, while he finds shoes that go with his outfit already chosen
"That shit doesn't exist and you know it very well" you say sighing, zero serious romantic interactions in your 20 years of life, it's not that you were going to die for being like this all your life
"Pfff you'll see when someone arrives who upsets your life upside down" she says now rummaging in your closet looking for something decent. "And you will pay me 50 bucks"
It takes a while until she takes out a beautiful dress that the truth didn't even remember you had
"Put it on" she demands
"I'll take a cup and I'll leave without you noticing, that you know" you say snorting
The truth is that your life was becoming monotonous and a little boring
What could go wrong for once in your life?
Well, many things.
In what fucking moment in your life did you think of saying that?
You don't know how but you ended up beating up with a girl you hadn't seen in your life but was publicly accusing you of being a boyfriend thief.
Well, let's go back to moments before the fact.
Maybe after five drinks of something you had no idea what her name was called you felt like the most outgoing girl in the world, well that along with the fact that Nobara disappeared about twenty seconds after setting foot in this damn fraternity.
You had taken refuge in a relatively quiet corner, with the glass half empty in your hand and your brain already asking for a truce.
The music vibrated in your chest and the heat of the people overwhelmed you.
You just wanted time to pass so you could sneak away. Suddenly, a blurred figure stood in your field of vision.
She was a girl, or so it seemed, with messy blonde hair and bloodshot eyes. She looked at you with an excessive fury, her face contorted in a grimace of pain and rage.
"You! Thieving whore!" her voice, distorted by alcohol and emotion, tore the air.
Your brow furrowed pointing a finger to your face. Me? Thief?
you barely knew where you were.
"Excuse me? I think you're confusing me." But she didn't listen to you. Her eyes, glassy, drilled you as if you were the very embodiment of her nightmares.
"With my boyfriend, bitch! With my fucking boyfriend! You threw it, didn't you?!"
But that only seemed to add more fuel to the fire. The girl pounced on you, with her nails trying to grab you.
By pure survival instinct, you tried to push her away, unbalancing both of you. The music seemed to have dropped in volume, or maybe it was you, in your state of panic, who stopped listening to it.
People screamed, you didn't know whether to encourage the fight or try to stop it. Your legs got tangled with her and, in a second, the world turned over.
Trying to calm her down (which was in vain resulting in another hair pull for your part), you heard how more and more people approached to see the noise and cheer up who would win
Until a damn voice caught all your attention
"…50 dollars that the short one pulls off the blonde's extension" says a hoarse and funny voice with the situation
"No fucking grace" you were thinking
You look up to cross him with your eyes, if it were possible, to the wretch on duty
A pink-haired got in the way of your sight
Damn, how handsome
"Uhm I know" he says with a maliciously attractive smile
Shit. You said it out loud.
Great, now I'm like a fangirl in front of the king of the campus and your crush
Ryomen Sukuna
The drunk girl, spurred on by the comment, let out a howl and pulled even harder, forcing you to let out a moan of pain.
"You steal it from me and you're going for another one, you're a slut" she says dragging the words
Before being able to answer her and slap her again, strong arms separate you from the crazy woman while she keeps babbling insults and more barbarities
"Let me go" you also say dizzy from alcohol and blows, a blonde mane clouds your vision and you realize that you are being dragged between the arms of your friend Nanami
"She has to learn not to mess with who she is not" you say while you make the gesture of letting go back to give a lesson to the crazy woman who was hitting you
"Come on, tomorrow you will surely regret it" his soft voice flooded your ears before falling surrendered to fatigue
The only thing you remember after that is Nanami taking you to your room and wrapping you up before leaving.
Well, the weekend was, well, quiet.
Quiet.
Until Monday arrived.
Monday was a constant reminder that the news flies on campus. You couldn't walk ten meters without someone letting out a chuckle or whispering behind your back: "It's her, the one who almost left Megumi's ex bald."
You wanted the earth to open and swallow you, especially when you saw that even some teachers looked at you sideways.
"See it on the bright side" Nobara told you, walking by your side with an energy that you didn't have "now no one is going to dare to take away your place in the library. You have a reputation for being dangerous"
"I have a crazy reputation, Nobara. There is a difference" you growled, sinking into your seat when you said goodbye to her to enter class
And it ate your head as you were going to recover it, having public scandals did not help your resume at all
⭐︎✽⭐︎
The most boring and hard class of the semester was about to start and you really didn't really want to attend.
You digressed enough until the appointment of your name made you jump from your day dreams and land in reality
"Hmm" you murmured to yourself.
The teacher when he saw your tarnished face had a little empathy and repeated it without giving any sermon
"y/n l/n and Ryomen Sukuna you form team 2 for the research project" he says while you, the truth is that you want the earth to swallows and spit you in Hawaii, "as I said, this work is worth 75% of this semester's grade"
At what point did you two go to the same class?
You turned your head in the hope of not seeing him but the second of looking to your right you saw how his pink hair called all the attention of your eyes, suddenly a crimson look came in the way of your gaze causing you to break eye contact.
You couldn't lose the scholarship
Hell, the teacher kept pulling but honestly you didn't even pay attention to him anymore.
Can't I get worse?
Well, you had to stop saying that because every time you said it, things got worse.
The moment the teacher stopped ranting, you felt the weight of half the class's gaze on you.
It wasn't because of your brilliant average, but because you were the girl who on Friday night tried to rip off the extensions from a drunk in front of everyone.
You tried to put the laptop away quickly, but a shadow was cast on your table. You didn't look up, but the smell of expensive perfume and a heavy presence confirmed the worst.
Your crush was about to speak to you, removing the Friday thing
"So y/n" Sukuna's voice sounded closer than you would like, with a dragged tone and full of fun "It turns out that the lil' fighter has a name, who would have said that someone who looks so civilized can be so aggressive"
Well at least now he knew your name
You looked up, meeting those eyes that seemed to read all your insecurities. "Civilized is my natural state. Friday was a… misunderstanding," you replied trying not to make your voice tremble.
He let out a short laugh, leaning on your table with a confidence that irritated you.
"Very entertaining to be honest. But let's get to the important thing, 'partner'. I guess you'll do the whole boring part of the job while I take care of… supervising, right?" he said while texting in his phone
Your patience, already diminished by the moral hangover, ended up breaking down.
"If you think I'm going to do all the work you're wrong, I have a scholarship to save and I'm not going to let you help me lose it" you say with all the confidence you have left but before you can leave a strong hand stops you by the arm
"Not so fast" his voice lowered a tone, losing part of that playful mockery. "It turns out that I'm also in a hurry for this. Let's say that the coach has given me an ultimatum: either I pass this subject or I say goodbye to the captaincy and go straight to the bench for the rest of the season. So we'd better make sure we approve this shitty job"
You stopped short.
Slowly, you turned your head to see him. Sukuna's security was still there, but there was a glow of annoyance in his eyes.
It was the first time you heard Sukuna Ryomen admit that he needed something.
Before you could answer anything, your frown was furrowed at his interruption
"Listen to me well, y/n. I don't like losing, much less because of some stupid numbers. But I've been told that you're the best in the class when you're not trying to be a WWE fighter at parties. So let's make a deal.” He leaned towards you, invading your personal space until you could smell that masculine perfume, the sandalwood invading your nostrils
"You assure me that pass, and I make sure that the rumor of your 'cat fight' disappears before Friday. No one will say a word about the party or how much you like cheap vodka again. Do we have a deal?"
You looked at his outstretched hand.
If you accepted, you would spend weeks locked in the library with the boy who starred in your dreams (and now your nightmares).
If you refused, your reputation would still be on the floor and you would have to carry a dead weight of 80 kilos of muscle in the most important project of the semester.
"Only if you really study," you said, trying to ignore how your heart hammered against your ribs. "If you're late just once or you come to me with the excuse of training, I'll take you out of the project and I'll tell the professor that I did everything"
"Done"
And before you know it you hadn't even changed numbers to share the work you see him leaving the class

Chapter 1: Long live to the energy bars
Such a fucking shitty day
Week rather
How the hell did you come to that conclusion?
Well,
What seemed to be the beginning of a pleasant sabbatical vacation in the "quiet" city of Raccon City, went to hell
Who knew that the news of strange attacks on campers in the nearby Arklay mountains would have to do with what is unleashed in the city?
Crad, isn't it?
Damn your luck
Cursed be the fate
Honestly, you didn't know how you had survived so much, although the fact of being too paranoid and fearful may have helped in that
You had almost run out of courtesy energy bars from your hotel, but you made the effort to keep the last two leftovers
According to the radio ad that was repeated continuously, the RPD offered shelter for the survivors
Going out on the street was quite an odyssey
Rotten corpses pounced on the people in front of you
You had already seen enough
Fear and despair took over your body
But your survival had to prevail
Miraculously, you managed to get to the police station
The ruin of injured, nervous, crying people abounded at the entrance of it, it could only end in one way
Bad
And indeed
The attacks, the little control over the health of the people who entered and the general ignorance of what was happening meant that little by little all sense of security collapsed
You managed to miraculously survive those bugs with the skin upside down
You were grateful for the moment you decided to buy the sneakers you were wearing
Now you were desperate trying to clean the wound of your most recent partner, Lieutenant Marvin Branagh
"Stop it girl, it's too late for me" he sighed resignedly
Even so, tears kept falling on your face
"I'm very sorry" you kept repeating
You had already seen many perish
While you were helping him sit on a chair, the sound of the metal blind alarmed you
You quickly ran towards her thinking it was another zombie
But fortunately before hitting him with the bat, a blonde mane looked out, obviously human
With a pull you managed to help him and Marvin crushed the skull of one of those damn things with the metal curtain
"Are you okay?" You asked, as if a damn zombie apocalypse wasn't happening right now
The blond looked at you for a second, breathing agitated, with his face stained with blood and sweat
He had the lightest blue eyes you had ever seen in your life, but right now they looked like those of someone who had just realized that hell was real
"Yes… thank you," he replied, still with his hand on the gun. His voice sounded young, too young to be here "I'm Leon. Leon Kennedy I just got to the city… What the hell is going on here?"
"So you're the rookie" Marvin said bitterly "I'm sorry this was your first day"
Leon ran a hand over his face, trying to clean the blood that was not his. He looked at Marvin, then at you, and then at the disaster that was the main lobby of the police station. The smell of death was already beginning to seep
"First day?" He repeated with some trembling in his voice. "This seems more like the last one"
Marvin tried to get up a little, but a grimace of pain forced him to lie down again against the wall. The wound was ugly. Very ugly
"Listen, boy… Leon. Communications are down. The whole city has gone to shit. You'd better get ready, your things are in what was going to be your locker"
As Leon changed, the silence in the main lobby became deafening
Only Marvin's agitated breathing and the twilight of a city consumed by chaos could be heard
You approached the lieutenant, trying to ignore the metallic stenth of blood
"Don't give up, Lieutenant. We'll get out of here," you whispered
You had already seen many convert from scratches or bites
When Leon returned, he commented on the book he found with drawings of statues and medallions, before that Marvin corroborated that
"According to what he believed, there is a way out but you have to gather those medallions. I don't know to what extent it can be true," says Marvin
Leon passes you the book and you remember having seen two of the statues, although one of them is hidden anywhere in the police station
Could the situation get worse? Did you have something to lose?
The ray of hope you gave was the only thing you clung to
All that was left was to have faith
You both look at each other understanding the mission
Get out of this hell alive
Or at least try
The first statue is easy to find, it's in front of you
A statue of a lion appears from the second floor
Ironic?
Leon and the lion
Ugh, it's been a while without sleeping pills. You think for yourself
You move the figures as the book says until a click releases the medallion
You quickly place it on the statue at the beginning, a crack and her movement makes your hope increase
So it's true
We can survive, you thought
Marvin stays resting and you get ready to continue exploring
After cutting the tape of the metal fence, you see that the small room contains more normality than you see later
"It's not how I imagined my first day," says Leon picking up a few bullets
"I don't think anyone would have ever imagined something like this" you say holding your bat with a trembling hand and checking one of those healing green plants "this can help us"
He nods opening the hallway door
The cold welcomes you along with an unpleasant smell and a landscape that augured something terrible
The wind rumbles the crystals, as you advance the radio of a fallen agent resounds
A choppy voice is the only thing you hear
Slowly you keep trying not to make noise
A corpse hanging from a pipe makes you startle
The sound of a window being broken alerts you and you enter a room, with your pulse bursting your eardrums you block the door as best you can.
"Hey, I think I've found the plans of this plant," he says while putting them away
You explore the next door
Closed
Tch, like most of all the doors of this damn police station
Blows and abrupt growls echo outside the room
In panic you approach the only exit, a small broken window
With his help you pass just before the zombies invade the room
In a quick turn he stops you from continuing to advance, a zombie standing in front of the vending machines blocks your way
Four shots in the head are enough for him to surrender
Before you know it, another one enter the corridor leaving you without reaction time
A burst of gunshots resounds, plummeting the zombie
With trembling hands and a pulse at a thousand per hour you launch a thank you in a low voice
You enter what seems to be the armory and start opening the available lockers
"Really?" You say looking incredulously at the two keys
With a piece of paper and gum you can make temporary buttons
Who the hell would risk their life to look for two keys all over the police station?
Definitely not you
In a couple of minutes all the lockers are opened, while you pick up what you can you notice a shotgun at the end of the room, blocked by what seems to be an access card
And a shit
Helplessness, frustration and fear give you an adrenaline rush
With a blow of the bat and a strong kick the electronic lock gives way, you get the shotgun
Leon is surprised
"That shotgun guarantees us to live a little longer" you say passing it
You had no idea how to shoot, well, something yes
Shooting at the fair stalls didn't count as experience, right?
Definitely not, right now you risked your life, not that of a cheap stuffed animal
You continue to investigate the plant arriving at what is supposed to be the office, a welcome sign makes the situation a little melancholic
Oh
You look at him, the emotion passing through his eyes like lightning, sadness and regret are reflected in his eyes
A grimace of empathy invades your face, you can't imagine how sad it must be for him
Finding you this disaster instead of the good start that would have been working at this police station must have sat like a stab
"Well, let's continue, time is gold" he says checking his gun before leaving, his slightly trembling voice does not go unnoticed even if he tries to look strong
You know what that feeling is
You move through what's left of the first floor, slowly going up to the second carrying the two zombies that were wandering around
Better prevented than dead
"Shit" you whisper seeing how the only entrance on the other side of the building was obstructed by the burning steam from the pipes
Without just having a crank
A small start from Leon makes you turn quickly, a corpse and the panic on his face is what you find
The lockers and what was inside used to be disconcerting
You get out of the showers and explore the third floor, a spike key dazzles in the dim light of the room
You continue exploring that plant, what seems to be an attice or a storage place hides another of the statues, that of the maiden
Oh, great
The only thing that seemed to open it was a block of C4
Murmuring something under his breath you hear a small whistle from Leon
It seems that he has found another door behind an overturned shelf
There just had to be a zombie hanging from the ceiling
Typical
Swallowing the fear you have, you firmly grab your bat and go through the door
The strong lighting blinds you when you enter, on guard you go down the stairs, listening to a skin is torn off along with some growls
You both nod, going slowly to where the noise comes from
One of those zombies is prostrate in front of a body devouring what is left
You feel the bile rise up your throat, fear wants to invade your body but that would mean dying
You have to be strong
Very slowly you approach, with your heart in your throat you give him a strong blow to the head, causing him to fall collapsed to the ground
The noise caused causes a sleeping zombie to approach you
A couple of bullets later is surrendered to the ground
You investigate the library a little, until you come across a door that seems to open
Attentive, you open it, expecting the worst
Oh
The statue we were missing, the one of the unicorn
You quickly decipher it and take the medallion
Happy you hurry to meet with Leon
But a broadcast on the radio makes you stop
"It's Marvin, he says we have to go back quickly"
You open the door with the same key mark that you found and you get to the main corridor
"Come and look," says Marvin as soon as you arrive
The laptop shows the video of a girl
Alive, and in these facilities?
"I knew it, I knew I would survive," says Leon cheerfully
"Do you know her?" you question, something obvious you suppose
"Yes, it's with the girl I came with. Her name is Claire," he says relieved
"Then let's go, we have to help her" you say taking the knife you found before
"The fastest way to get there is through the second floor east side" says Marvin with difficulty "Be careful guys"
"Thank you Marvin" you thank in unison
At least you had the blissful key of spades
You quickly got to the garden
The cold night air hits your faces when you leave. Through the metal fee a silhouette moves quickly
"Leon!" Shouts a female voice on the other side of the gate
"Claire!" Leon lights up, running towards the door, but the latch stops him from opening
"Hell" you try to force it but there is no result "I'm sorry I can't open it"
"Don't worry!" She answers, waving her hand while holding her revolver firmly "At least I know there is hope of survival"
With a bittersweet and compassionate smile you give him a sincere smile
Suddenly the sound of a helicopter crashing into the police station startles you
The zombies that were in the area go crazy running to where you are
"Claire run, now!" Leon and you shout "We'll meet, be careful"
"Likewise" Claire screams shooting and running away from the zombies while you see her disappear
You go back to the same place, now with a red shear
There is only one medal left to leave the police station
Only the battery and the detonator were missing
Both were in the room at the beginning and the wing that you couldn't reach without removing the broken pipe
Suddenly a thought lit up in your mind
What if you pry the shear as if it were a crank?
Exact
"Come on Leon, we have to solve this quickly and I know how"
Walking down the corridor the sound of a licker alerts you
You give him a sign of silence while you reduce your movements
You look and a disgusting monster stands in front of you
You tell Leon to pass carefully, you are about to get it when a zombie breaks the window and catches the attention of the licker. Leon has no choice but to throw a blinding grenade.
You take advantage of the oversight and run to the operating room
With a blow with the shear Leon opens the closed door
Now you had the battery, only the device in the S.T.A.R.S room was missing
"That's all that's left and we can go out" you say with a smile
"Let's hope it's like that" Leon says with a slightly more relieved look
Together you cross the same path reaching the showers, with a pull of both the steam closes immediately leaving something to pass without being scorching
"I think for now I don't want to be a roasted broccoli" says Leon trying to relax the stress of the situation
You emulate a smile as you move forward next to him
Another scream of those creatures makes your blood freeze
Really? Did it have to be right where you had to go?
You gently slide down the corridor reaching the room just in time
A sigh of relief comes out of your body
You examine everything finding the detonator in what seems to be the office of the head of the S.TA.R.S
Ready to leave, you slowly return to the stairs
Once you get to where the remaining statue is, you activate it, then run to shelter. Leon using his body to protect you while the strong explosion makes the foundations tremble.
The roar of a licker alerts you, you run to catch the last medallion.
With agility, Leon manages to nail three shotguns to the fucking monster and you hit the zombie of the ceiling
You run, so much that your mouth tastes like blood, managing to reach the statue of the goddess.
Loud gear sounds rumble the entrance
You get closer to Marvin
"Come on, we can solve it Marvin" you say hopeful while Leon investigates the new passage "I'm sure they'll manage to solve it"
Leon comes out and observes the sad farewell
"I've already told you young lady, it's too late for me, save you" he says with difficulty "Don't make me repeat it, go"
With hot tears you say goodbye to him
"It has been an honor to meet you, lieutenant," you say in a broken voice next to Leon
"Equally girl" says the lieutenant with what he has left of strength "Take care of her"
With tears in your throat you enter the new room
What the hell will this bring you?
I hope this is not a shit, so, thanks for read this! have a nice day/night
Blood and Gold
Pairing: mob!sukuna x f!reader
Warnings: language?, a lil of spice?, jealousy, kisses, idk what more to put. I CLARIFY English is not my first language so sorry if there are grammar mistakes.
Author's notes: hi! this is a fragment of a new story that I'm writing, I hope you like!
COMING SOON:
The air in the room grew hotter with every passing second
“Do you really think you can run from me?” he said, his gaze so intense it felt like it was melting your soul “That you can replace me with that pathetic loser?”
He wore that unhinged smirk — the same one a predator gives its cornered prey
“You lost every right to claim me the day you threw me out like fucking trash,” you shot back, summoning every ounce of courage you had left. “Besides, I can be with whoever I want. I don’t answer to you anymore”
Big mistake. Opening your mouth was like pouring gasoline on an open flame
You watched as his eyes, already red, flared into a blazing inferno — pure jealousy and rage.
But not toward you
Toward anyone who dared lay a hand on you
The mere thought made his blood boil
The image of another man touching you turned his urge for violence into something feral
No matter how many years passed…
He had one thing crystal clear
You would always be his
Sukuna took a slow step toward you. Even though every instinct screamed at you to back away, you stood your ground
His presence was suffocating, like the air itself refused to enter your lungs
“No matter how hard you try to forget me, no matter how much you try to replace me,” Sukuna said sharply, his eyes radiating raw possession, “deep down you know exactly who you belong to”
You just stared at him, words failing you
His hand shot up with deliberate speed, gripping your chin firmly and forcing you to look at him
His touch burned
You could feel the scorching heat radiating from his body
“Let me go, Sukuna,” you said, but your voice came out weaker than you intended
He let out a low, dark chuckle that vibrated through your chest
“Let you go?” he repeated, leaning in until his lips brushed against your ear. “I don’t let go of what’s mine. You can run, you can scream, you can hide behind that loser… but we both know how this ends”
His other hand slid down to your waist, gripping you with shameless possession.
“It ends with me buried inside you,” he whispered, “reminding you exactly who you belong to”
A shiver ran down your spine. You tried to turn your face away, but his fingers on your chin turned to steel. Sukuna wasn’t letting you escape even an inch
“No…” you managed, though it sounded more like a plea than a command
His free hand traced your curves as he smirked
“No?” he echoed mockingly, his thumb brushing your lower lip with fake tenderness. “Your mouth says one thing… but your body is already surrendering, just like always”
Then he kissed you — harder this time, deeper, more desperate than before, like a man completely losing control. A treacherous moan slipped from your throat. Sukuna smiled against your skin
“That sound…” he growled “is mine. Every moan, every shiver, every fucking orgasm you have from now on… belongs to me”
You tried to push him away, but it was like trying to move a mountain. He grabbed both your wrists with one hand and pinned them above your head against the wall with ease
“Tell me,” he demanded, eyes burning with fury, “did he touch you? Did that pathetic insect put his filthy hands on what’s mine?”
You stayed silent a second too long before snapping back
“That’s none of your fucking business,” you spat, yanking your chin from his grip
He immediately grabbed your face again, forcing you to meet his gaze
His breathing was heavy, almost animalistic. The fury rolling off him was so thick you could almost taste it
“Look at me” he ordered. “Look me in the eyes and tell me you didn’t get wet thinking about him. Tell me that when he touched you, you weren’t imagining it was me spreading your legs”
Heat flooded your cheeks
“Did he slide his hand under your skirt? Did he kiss you? Did he fuck you while thinking you were already his little wife?” he hissed, each word dripping with venom
“You think because he gave you that cheap ring he can claim you?” he snarled in disgust “That title belongs to me. I’m the one who’s going to put a ring on your finger. I’m the one who’s going to fuck you every night. And if that idiot thinks he can take you from me, I’ll put his head on a fucking stake”
You tried to turn your face again, but he wouldn’t allow it
He attacked your neck with vicious hunger, sucking hard — you knew it would leave a massive hickey. Another choked moan escaped you
“That’s it,” he murmured, satisfied
His hand moved without mercy between your legs, pressing over your clothes right where your body was betraying you the most
“This pussy,” he growled, “is still mine. Even if you’re playing the perfect fiancée with that loser. You think because he gave you a cheap ring I can’t touch you anymore?”
His lips hovered aggressively against yours
“I’m going to fuck you until you forget his goddamn name. And when I’m done… you’re going to call him yourself and tell him the wedding is canceled”

Chapter 2: Coffee Stains and Crimson Gazes
You spent the rest of the morning with a knot in your stomach. Sukuna had left class with the same arrogance with which he arrived, leaving you with a "Done" in the air and zero ways to contact him except his dms
"He's an idiot" you let go, stroked your hair
You roll your eyes and run your hands over your face leaving them still for a while, while Nobara began to rant about something that you didn't pay too much attention to for being between your thoughts
"I'm serious, y/n" said Nobara while devouring a potato chip in the cafeteria "you should thank that crazy woman. Now you have aura. It's the perfect balance"
"I want to disappear, Nobara. That's what I have" you sighed, stirring your food without hunger "And on top of that I have the project with him. He didn't even ask me for my number. He probably expects me to chase him all over the campus like the rest of his fans"
"Well, it's Sukuna. He probably expects the planets to align and the work to be done by itself" Nobara shrugged "But look at him on the bright side, at least he's handsome. If you're going to fail, let it be with a good view"
"I'm not going to fail" you say sullenly
Suddenly the sound of a notification makes the table vibrate
Unknown number: Today, at 19:00. Library
Unknown number: Bring coffee. Black and sugar-free.
Today was definitely going to be a long day.
Fate had decided to make you arrive five minutes late. Not for pleasure, but for carelessness.
Unpunctuality ran through your veins this year
When you entered the library and advanced in it the silence was almost absolute, except for the rhythmic sound of someone hitting a pen against the wood.
Sukuna was there, wearing a tight black T-shirt that showed the tattoos on his arms and seemed to be deeply bored looking at the ceiling.
Why did he have to be this hot?
You left the black coffee on the table with a soft blow, making him look down.
"Five minutes late," he said, without even looking at the clock. His hoarse voice sounded too loud in the silence of the library "We started badly, y/n"
"There were people in the cafeteria" you said, sitting in front of him and taking out your books with precise movements "And you're welcome for the coffee"
"Yeah" he took the coffee and looked at you over the edge of the glass, his crimson eyes shining under the fluorescent light "Or you just wanted to be interesting. I don't blame you, not every day you have to study with the best party on campus"
A snort was what he got from you
"I've heard that you are the "pretty girl" of the teachers" he blurted out, leaving the coffee aside "So I guess you already have half a job planned in that little head of yours"
"I have a scheme, yes" you replied, opening the laptop and avoiding his gaze "But the deal was that you also studied. So open the book on page 112"
Sukuna let out a laugh, resting his elbows on the table and leaning towards you. The smell of sandalwood and coffee suddenly hit you, making you feel that the table was much smaller than you remembered.
"I like bossy girls," he whispered, with that malevolent smile that made everyone on campus lose their minds.
You feel how your cheeks begin to heat up.
For something, he was still your crush.
The time in the library passed in a strange way. At first, the silence between the two was cutting, full of small battles for the space of the table. Sukuna was not the type of student who underlined with colors; he just read with a speed that made you doubt if he was really retaining something, while you tried to ignore that his knee brushed yours under the table every time he moved.
The hours passed and people disappeared. The murmur of the keyboards ceased, leaving only the buzzing of the fluorescent lights.
"Damn, it can't be that difficult" he growled suddenly, closing the book suddenly.
The sound rumbled in the empty room like a shot. You looked up, tired with your hair a mess after putting your hands on your head a thousand times.
"If you had come to class the other times you enrolled, maybe it wouldn't seem alien to you," you said to him without a filter.
The nights definitely took out the wildest of your personality
Sukuna didn't bother. Instead, he leaned back in the chair, watching you with an intensity that forced you to leave the pen on the table.
There was no mockery on his face now, just a heavy curiosity.
"Are you always this intense with everything?" He asked, lowering his voice. In the vacuum of the library, his hoarse tone seemed to fill every corner "On Friday you almost left a girl bald and today it seems that you want to kill me with your eyes because I don't understand a graph"
"I risk a lot, Ryomen. Not all of us have a safety net if we fail," you replied, trying not to make your voice sound hurt.
He was not only known for how good he was in sports but for the legacy that his surname gave, son of one of the most important tycoons in the country
"I also play a lot" he said, and for the first time, there was a trace of honesty in his eyes "Even if you think I'm just an idiot who runs after a ball, I don't like to be given orders"
Before I could do anything, the librarian's voice resounded
"Attention, users. The library will close in five minutes"
"I guess we're done for today" you try to calm the atmosphere for something that you created yourself
"Uhm" he nods without further ado picking up his things and just before leaving, he tells you "Tomorrow at the same time and bring something to eat. Studying with you makes me hungry"
He turned around with that exasperating confidence, leaving you with the word in your mouth about how it is forbidden to eat in the library and the heart beating at a not very normal pace.
You stayed for a second looking at his back as he walked away, wondering how it was possible that someone like that managed to occupy so much space in your mind.
Heading to the exit door you feel the librarian's impatient look on the back of your neck. When the cold night air comes out, I hit you head-on.
The rain that used to only hit the windows was now a full-fledged downpour that flooded the campus.
"Great" you muttered, checking your backpack "I haven't brought umbrellas"
"You're a disaster, y/n"
That hoarse voice behind you made you jump a little. Sukuna was leaning against the column of the entrance, with his arms crossed and watching the water curtain with annoyance.
He seemed to be waiting for it to subside, or maybe, he was just waiting for you.
Or maybe you should just stop reading too many fanfics
"The forecast said it would be clear by this time" you defended yourself, hugging your backpack against your chest to protect the laptop.
Sukuna let out a snort and, without asking permission, took off the jacket of the university team.
Before you could protest, you felt the weight of the garment on your shoulders. It smelled exactly like him, to that masculine aroma so expensive that it made you dizzy.
"I don't want you to catch a cold and leave me alone with work," he said, although he didn't look you in the eye.
"Walk, I'll accompany you to the dormitory building. It's on its way to mine"
You walked in the rain, sharing the minimum space under the eaves of the buildings when it was possible. With a silence that was comfortable.
When you got to the entrance of your building, you took off your jacket to return it to him, but he put a hand on yours, stopping you. His fingers were hot despite the rain.
"Return it to me when you can, besides I'm already soaked I don't want to catch a cold for wearing more wet clothes"
"Thank you very much, really, I'll give it back to you washed" you exclaimed, but he was already walking away in the rain, with the black shirt stuck to his back, marking every muscle in an insulting way.
You entered the lobby of your residence feeling as if you had just survived a hurricane. You went up to your room and, when you opened the door, you found Nobara sitting on her bed, wearing a face mask and a fashion magazine.
"Wow, wow" Nobara slowly lowered the magazine, looking at you "That jacket is not yours. And that logo… ?"
She knew firsthand that you liked Sukuna
Well, you and 3/4 of the campus
"It's just because it was raining, Nobara. Don't start," you said, trying to hide your red face as you took off your garment.
But she was already looking at you with a mischievous smile. You disappeared in the bathroom praying to be in your bed as soon as possible
⭐︎✽⭐︎
The next day you felt almost yourself again, or at least you tried while crossing the central square of the campus with an extra large coffee with milk in your hand, trusting that the caffeine would do the job that your five hours of sleep had not achieved.
The square was full of life.
The morning sun warmed just enough and a group of boys from the football team took advantage of the break between classes to pass a ball near the fountain.
You were walking distractedly, checking a notification on your cell phone, when the world decided that your morning was too quiet.
"Be careful!" Someone shouted.
You didn't even have time to look up. Something heavy and fast hit you head-on, causing the cardboard glass to fly out of your hand.
The coffee, still hot, drew an abstract and smoking stain that ran all over your blouse
For once you dare to go fancy
"Shit…" you whispered, looking at the disaster with total disbelief. You didn't have time to go back to the dorm; the most important class of the day started in seven minutes.
"Fuck, I'm so sorry" The boy said as he trotted towards you.
He was clearly not one of the typical noisy and arrogant athletes.
He had dark hair gathered in two somewhat chaotic piggy-tails and the truth is that he was super cute. He was wearing the team's sweatshirt, but his expression was of genuine mortification.
"Have you burned yourself?" He asked, stopping in front of you. His voice was calm, deep and had a nuance of chronic fatigue that, strangely, made you lower your guard.
"No, but I'm going to smell like vanilla and burnt coffee for the next six hours" you said, sighing as you tried in vain to dry yourself with one hand "And I don't have time to go change" you think to yourself
The boy stared at the stain and then looked at you. There was no mockery in his eyes, just a leisurely curiosity. He bent down, picked up the ball and left it under his arm before looking at you again.
"I'm Choso" he introduced himself, as if the name should explain his clumsiness "I play with those there, although sometimes I forget that not everyone is training for the nationals. Give me a second"
"I'm y/n" you say with a small smile.
He took off the sweatshirt he was wearing over the training shirt and handed it to you.
It was huge, of a dark gray color that would hide any disaster and with a number adorning its front
"Put it on. It's clean, I promise. It will look better on you than that coffee stain" he said with an almost imperceptible half smile "I have another one in the locker room"
"I can't accept it, Choso. We don't even know each other"
"Well, technically now we know each other. I'm the guy who has ruined your clothes and you're the girl who has an incredible patience not to stamp the ball in my face" he put his hands in his pockets, watching you calmly
"It's okay, it's not that you did it with bad intentions, thank you very much but I have to run to a class or I won't arrive" you exclaim in a hurry, you had already missed that subject too many times.
Before you could process everything you were in class and taking a hand to your face, remembering how rude you were, you hadn't even told him how you could return it.
The day passed much faster than you expected and before you knew it it was time to meet with Sukuna.
I hadn't even given you time to go get other clothes, just to take off the blouse stick you had.
You entered the library with just the right time, sliding between the rows of tables while you finished adjusting the sleeves of It was huge, almost covering your hands.
When you got to your usual place Sukuna was there, sitting with one leg stretched out and occupying space as if he were the owner of the building.
He had his cell phone in his hand and didn't even look up when you sat in front of him, leaving your backpack on the floor.
"You're late, again" he blurted out with his usual tone of disinterest, without stopping typing. "And you smell like a cheap coffee shop"
Sukuna blocked the cell phone and, finally, turned his head to look at you. His eyes ran through your figure with a slowness that made you move in the seat, stopping especially at the team logo that crossed your chest.
He didn't say anything for a couple of seconds, but you saw how a small sideways smile, almost imperceptible, appeared on his face.
"I don't see that you brought anything to bite either, terrible news" he commented, leaning back in his chair. "By the way, that sweatshirt is not yours"
Wow, fork found in the kitchen
"I know, I had an incident in the morning and a noble soul helped me" you exclaim opening your laptop
"Choso is too kind for his own good" Sukuna say looking at you "It's funny. I lend you my jacket because it's raining, he lends you his sweatshirt because you're a mess with coffee… It seems that the football team is becoming your personal dress service"
"Can we focus? I don't want to be here until they turn off the lights again" you tell him Sukuna raised an eyebrow, but didn't insist.
During the next hour, the atmosphere was unusually productive, although the weight of his gaze returned to you every time you moved. It was strange; Sukuna didn't say anything, but his presence seemed to fill the whole place
"You know?" He said, breaking the silence after a while while scribbling something in his notebook "It looks terrible on you. It's too big for you. It looks like you're going to drown in it"
"Thank you for the fashion advice, Ryomen. Tomorrow I'll wear something that passes your quality control," you said sarcastically, without looking up from the scheme.
“It's not advice. It's a fact" he leaned towards you, resting his elbows on the table.
This time he didn't invade your space to intimidate you, but he seemed to be enjoying something that you didn't quite understand
"But I like that you don't mind going around looking like a sack of potatoes just to not miss a class. It says a lot about you"
You remained silent, surprised by the strange compliment. Sukuna returned to his notes before you could answer.
The minutes continued to pass until his hoarse voice stopped them.
"Tomorrow I have training until late so we must meet much earlier" he said, breaking the silence as the library began to become deserted. "I'll let you know when"
He got up with his usual parsimony and, before you could reply, he gave you a couple of quick taps on the crown, almost as if you were a little animal that has done a good job, and walked away towards the exit with his hands in his pockets.
Well, in the lapsus of two days you had more time expended with your crush than never
You finished putting away your things with mechanical movements, feeling how the tiredness of the whole day fell on you suddenly.
Upon leaving the building, the night wind stirred the sleeves of Choso's garment again.
On the one hand, you had the comforting calm that the black-haired man had given you that morning, and on the other, that electric buzz that Sukuna always left behind, as if you had just touched a high-voltage cable unintentionally.
You walked to your bedroom under the orange light of the streetlights, crossing paths with a couple of students who were still pointing their fingers at you as they passed.
But this time, you didn't lower your head.
Yeah, fuck them
Sorry if it’s boringgg

Chapter 3: Neon Hallucinations
On Wednesday, the universe decided to give you a break.
An email at 7:50 a.m. confirmed that your law teacher had the flu and the 8:00 class was canceled.
Normally you would have taken the opportunity to sleep, but you had Choso's sweatshirt and Sukuna's jacket, impeccable and folded. You knew that the team trained early so you went to the training camp. The university stadium was impressive at that time.
The smell of mowed grass and the sound of the boys training filled the air. There was no audience, only the echo of the coach's orders. You sat in the first stands visually looking for the two, you quickly located Choso's number.
Even with the protections, he looked more relaxed than the others, as if he were there by inertia but with a lethal efficiency.
Then your eyes gently diverted as if by magic to an imposing figure, one that you liked more than you admitted. You waited until they had a break while you read a book that you had forgotten at the bottom of your bag
"Here again? I'm starting to think that you like sports more than you admit" You didn't need to turn around.
That voice, filtered through the grille of the helmet, sounded deeper, more metallic and much more dangerous.
Sukuna was standing a couple of meters away, taking off his helmet with a fluid movement. The sweat stuck his hair to his forehead and his breathing was somewhat agitated.
"My classes have been canceled" you said, lifting the paper bag "I just come to return this to you so I don't have to carry it all day"
"How efficient" Sukuna approached, dragging his feet with that confidence that made you crazy (and that attracted you so much that you didn't know what to do).
He stopped at a prudent distance, but enough for his shadow, enlarged by the shoulder pads, to cover you. You gently slid his folded jacket and smelling your favorite fabric softened
Before he could answer Choso's voice saying your name flooded your ears
"Hello, y/n" he said, approaching. When he saw Sukuna there, he simply nodded "What are you doing here so early?"
"A class I had has been canceled. I thought you'd rather have this today instead of waiting for us to cross paths" you handed him the sweatshirt
Choso took the sweatshirt, his fingers brushing yours briefly. A small smile, almost imperceptible, appeared on his face.
"Thank you. You didn't have to bother" he said with a calm that relaxed you "It was enough to ruin that beautiful blouse you were wearing"
"It's not a nuisance, really. Thank you for not letting me go to class smelling like burnt coffee" you laughed a little, feeling Sukuna's gaze fixed on the profile of your face
Sukuna let out a loud snort, crossing his arms over the armor of the uniform.
"How cute" he said with an irony that you could have cut with a knife "Have you already finished the clothes exchange or do I have to bring tissues for the farewell? Choso, the coach is pointing you to go. Move"
He looked back and indeed they were calling him and he looked at you again.
"See you later, y/n. Be careful with this one" he made a gesture with his head towards Sukuna "Today he got up with the ego more inflated than normal"
The aforementioned rolled his eyes and putting on his helmet he told you as he walked away "Today at 2 in the meeting room, don't forget about my coffee"
You sighed
Near your crush but at what cost
~
Your meetings in the library became more and more comfortable and along with it the days, without you realizing it had been three weeks since the gossip of the fight disappeared from the campus forums.
Sukuna had fulfilled his part of the deal - no one knew exactly how, but the rumors dried up overnight - and you had fulfilled yours: the finance project was almost finished and promising a note that assured you the scholarship one more semester.
Normality had returned.
Or something similar.
"If you say "no" to a party again, I'm going to ask for your room to be reassigned," Nobara threatened, finishing outlining her eyes with surgical precision "It's Friday, y/n. The fight is prehistory. Nobody remembers who threw the hair to whom"
You sighed, it was true, for example a week ago the news came to light that a student was dating her teacher and that caused a furor in the campus forums.
You looked at your outfit ironed on your bed while you looked for heels that were in line with it.
Later
You were not in a house, nor in a bar. You were in an old factory on the outskirts, a brick and metal skeleton that someone had filled with electric generators and red and green strobe lights.
The air was saturated with sweat, smoke and a humid heat that stuck to your skin.
You were drunk just by four glasses of a transparent mixture that Nobara had sworn to you that it was "soft".
Lie
The world was already starting to be out of focus on the edges. You felt light, dangerously brave, and the rumble of the bass in your chest made you feel that your own heartbeat was going out of time.
"Everything is going great, Nobara was right. Besides, no one knows me here, what's the worst thing that could happen?" You said to yourself
why did you always have to say that?
The last glass of punch you had made you feel happy.
Although the problem was not alcohol. The problem was that someone at that party decided that the courtesy punch needed "an extra" of dubious substances.
Very dubious substances
Half an hour later the world no longer turned; the world was a kaleidoscope of neon lights and you were convinced that you could see the colors of the sound
"I'm going… I'm going outside" you indicated to Nobara with exaggerated gestures. She was too busy dancing vigorously.
You made your way through the mass of bodies, feeling that the concrete floor was a little further away than you remembered. You pushed a heavy metal door that squealed, going out to a kind of abandoned cargo dock, surrounded by rusty irons and graffiti that shone under the light of a distant lamppost.
The cold night air hit you, making you stagger.
You leaned your back against the cold brick wall, closing your eyes as you tried to stop the rotation of the earth.
"What were the probabilities of finding you here, brat?" A male voice that you knew made you move your head towards where the voice came from.
Sukuna
Next to the beam he was lying down with a cigarette in his hand, he was wearing a black shirt that for your misfortune fit him too well, especially in those biceps that God, they seemed so firm-
Your thoughts were stopped by his voice
"Earth calling Y/n" he said moving a hand in front of your face.
At what point did he moved towards you?
You could only smile foolishly
"Ryomen" you dragged the words, letting out a silly laugh as you took a step towards him, losing your balance for a second "What are you doing here? This place is… catastrophic. Like you"
The smell of strong alcohol and his perfume mixed in your nose, making you even more dizzy.
"Are you drunk, y/n?" He asked, tilting his head with a touch of concern. He was so close that you could see the drops of sweat on his tembe "Who would have thought. It turns out that the quiet has a wild side after all"
"I'm just… celebrating" you said, resting a hand on her chest so you don't fall. The contact felt electric through the fabric of his shirt "Celebrating that I'm not going to lose the scholarship and forgetting that we're not going to see each other so often anymore" the words already came out just dragged
"Uh?" It comes out of his mouth, a firm hand holds your waist "You don't even know what you're saying anymore, let's go back inside and I'll call someone to pick us up" he says
worried?
You shake your head as you enter "I've come with a friend" you say "I have to see if she's okay"
He nods and you move around the area
Before you can locate Nobara, police sirens, agents entering from all sides and people running terrified made him squeeze you next to him
Just at that moment the peak of those strange substances made you have the biggest attack of laughter in the world
You don't know how but you ended up stealing a policeman's baton and you started hitting him while you laughed until two policemen neutralized you, Sukuna on the other hand, fight against other agents to get to get to you
"Nooo, let him go he's innocent, it's not his fault not knowing how to differentiate a geometric rent from a fractional one" you shouted while being dragged to the police van "Leave him with me, I'll teach him what a linear amortization is in our honeymoon!" You said laughing while trying to let go of the policeman's grip
"Y/N, for God's sake, stop trying to bite his fingers!" Sukuna growled.
He was being arrested for "resistance to authority" after having pushed the agents to stop neutralizing you on the ground abruptly.
At 3:30 a.m., you were in a cold dungeon at the local police station.
"Sukuna…" you whispered, crawling down the cement bench towards him "Why is the ceiling looking at me?
Sukuna, who was sitting with his back against the wall and an expression of pure exhaustion, sighed deeply. He ran a hand through his hair, watching how you tried to caress the air holding back a small laugh, total the night was already lost
"The ceiling is not not looking at you, shorty. It's the effect of whatever that punch had," he replied.
He looked impeccable even under the fluorescent lights, although his crimson eyes distilled a fury contained by the situation
"Come here before you fall to the ground"
You approached and sat on his lap, taking him by surprise and hugging him by the neck with an exaggerated force.
he didn’t complain at all
"You're very warm" you murmured, rubbing your cheek against his "And you smell of danger… just the way I like it. Do you know that your eyes shine as if you had flashlights inside? Can I touch them?"
"Don't touch my eyes" Sukuna's hand closed around your waist to stabilize you, pressing you against him "Fuck, you look terrible. If you had a gram of sanity right now, you would be ashamed to death"
"I have no shame! I have pink glitter in my brain!" You exclaimed, laughing hysterically and giving him a loud kiss on the cheek "Sukuna, we should get married right here. The policeman with the funny hat can be the priest"
"Officer!" You screamed jumping from his lap to the floor, holding on to the bars with one hand while with the other you pointed at Sukuna as if he were a trophy won at a fair
"Put the bridal march on that radio you have! This man is finally going to settle down and nothing more and nothing less than with the most wanted criminal in the country!"
You were just spending one night because disturbing the police
Sukuna covered his face with one hand, rubbing his temples with a force that threatened to leave marks. He was gradually becoming more sober, painfully aware of every word that came out of your mouth and how the echo of the police station amplified your follies.
"Y/n, for what you want most, sit down and shut up" he muttered "You're making a show"
"You just don't understand, Suku!" You turned to him, staggering and taking his face in your hands with a dramatic urgency "I've been practicing my signature with your last name for months in the margins of my notes. Ryomen y/n! It sounds so… aristocratic. Our children are going to have wonderful surnames."
"Sit down at once" he told you in a stern tone, your confessions actually began to cause him an emotion that he rarely felt.
Nerves
It’s not like he likes you. Although, maybe, he finds you a lil bit too interesting to him, very interesting (more than he would say out loud)
"I can't sit down, Ryomen! Love elevates me!" You turned to him, pointing at him with an accusing finger while your pupils, dilated to the maximum, tried to focus on his face "I like you so much that sometimes I want to throw a macroeconomic book at your head just for you to look at me. You're so handsome that it hurts! Why do you have to have those arms? They are illegal! Officer, report him too for excessive beauty!"
The policeman on duty, who until a moment ago was in a dog mood, let out such a loud laugh that you both turned your heads to see him
"Don't laugh, agent!" You told him "I should arrest him for being a risk to public health! It gives me tachycardia just by breathing nearby and I have to pretend that it doesn't cause me anything!"
Sukuna let out a heavy sigh, getting up and walking towards you. He grabbed you by the waist to get away from the bars, but you escaped from his arms as if you were jelly and ended up kneeling on the floor, hugging his leg.
"NO!" You exclaimed, looking up with a religious devotion "marry me here. The cement is cold, but our fire is eternal. And if you don't want I'll handcuff you and you'll sign for your freedom, or not my gummy bear?"
"Y/n, you're leaving my leg without circulation" Sukuna said, looking at the ceiling as if asking for a divine sign not to leave you lying there "And stop calling me that. It's degrading"
"You're the captain of my heart, my big red-eyed quarterback!" You let out a hysterical laugh, rubbing your cheek against his pants "Do you know what's worst? That I hate you. I hate you because you are so perfect that I think of you even when I'm studying. I've even written "Ryomen Property" on my calculator! I'm a lost woman!"
At that moment, the policeman let out a nasal snort that sounded like a pressure cooker about to explode.
You were giving him the turn, the funniest of his entire career
"See that, officer?" You continued, now pointing to the tattoo on Sukuna's shoulder that peeked out of the collar of his shirt "It's a map to a treasure. I wonder where it will lead?"
Sukuna closed his eyes, mentally counting to ten.
He bent down, took you by the armpits and lifted you off the floor as if you weighed nothing, forcing you to sit on the cement bench.
He stood in front of you, blocking your view of the policeman, who was now literally hidden behind his monitor so they wouldn't see him crying with laughter.
"Listen to me well, lil' psycho" Sukuna whispered, trapping you in his arms leaning on the bench "You are saying things that you will regret for the next ten years of your life. If you mention getting married in front of this man again, I swear that…"
"What what?" You interrupted him, hypnotized by the proximity of his lips "Are you going to kiss me to shut me up? Because I accept. Official! Look! This will seal our marriage!"
Sukuna was paralyzed.
For the first time in the whole night, he had no reaction. He just looked at you and sat next to you, with his jaw clenched and a spark of disbelief in his eyes, while you began to hum the wedding march with a completely disastrous intonation.
"Someone shoot me right now" he muttered to himself, dropping his head against your shoulder
"Don't die yet, honey" you patted him on the back while your eyes began to close because of the downturn of the "trip" "I promise that I will be an excellent wife and that I will only fail one subject a year!" You said the last thing dragging the words
You fell asleep like this, muttering things from the name of your cats to those of your future children
⭐︎✽⭐︎
The first sound you heard was a high-pitched beep, as if someone were playing a flute directly inside your eardrum.
The second was the squeal of metal against metal. You opened your eyes and the fluorescent light of the police station pierced your skull like a diamond drill.
"Don't scream" you whispered to yourself, even though you hadn't opened your mouth.
"I haven't said anything. But if you want to scream, go ahead. It wouldn't be the first time you've done it in the last ten hours"
That voice. Cold, hoarse and full of self-sufficiency that made you want to die right there. You slowly got up from the cement bench, feeling that your brain weighed five kilos more than normal.
You looked to your side. Sukuna was leaning against the bars, with his arms crossed and an insultingly flawless appearance despite the dark circles.
He looked at you with a half smile that promised the end of your social existence.
Suddenly, the flashbacks began to flood you.
You covered your face with your hands, letting out a moan of pure terror.
It wasn't a dream
You remembered Sukuna's hands on your waist, you remembered yelling at the policeman to arrest him for being handsome and, worst of all, you remembered having confessed to him that you wrote his last name in your notes.
Something that remained only between you and God
Remained, because now he also knew it
"Oh, my God" you murmured between your fingers "Kill me. Right now God"
You didn't feel like looking at his face at all
The sound of heavy steps interrupted your humiliation session. Last night's officer - the one who almost died of laughter - appeared with a bunk of papers and an expression that tried to be serious, but that failed miserably when he saw you.
"Well, lovebirds. You're lucky" said the agent, and you would swear he winked at you "You have already spent the night here for obstruction of the forces of the law. No one is going to testify about what was in that punch box and the owner of the factory does not want to file charges for break-in if we forget about the matter. The lawyer has already signed everything. You can pick up your belongings and leave"
You walked down the corridor of the police station feeling that the floor was moving. It was two in the afternoon.
The sun outside was a personal insult. When leaving, a high-end black car was waiting with the engine running.
"Get in," Sukuna ordered, opening the door. "My driver will take us to campus." The journey was a sepulchral silence, only broken by your choppy breathing and the sound of Sukuna typing on his cell phone.
You didn't dare to look at it. You wanted the car to deviate and throw you down a ravine.
"About last night…" you began, with a broken voice.
"On which part?" He interrupted you, putting away the cell phone and turning to you with a predatory look "About you wanting to throw me a book? Or about what do you want me to be arrested for excessive beauty?"
"The truth is I don't even know why I started, let's forget everything. I was too feral yesterday" Sukuna leaned towards you, invading your space.
He brought his face closer to yours, with that malevolent smile that now, knowing that you had confessed your lil crush to him, felt ten times more dangerous.
"You have spent weeks pretending that you hate me while practicing my signature on your notes, interesting fact" he says laughing, the eye contact stronger than ever until seconds later the car stopped in front of your residence
"Get off. Take a shower. Try not to let your head explode"
"Thank you?" You said. Still followed stunned by the results of the previous night
A fleeting look and the car disappeared from your sight
Right now you just wanted the floor to open and swallow you
Going up the stairs almost dead you got to your room Nobara walked nervously from one side to the other through the room
Her gaze fell on you quickly and pounced on you "You had me so worried" she exclaimed hugging you tightly
"I'm fine, everything is fine, I just need a shower and twelve hours of sleep"
She nodded and helped you get to the bathroom
When you left the bathroom, like new except for the tiredness you were charging, your cell phone that you had just charged began to explode with notifications
THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING
Not again
You opened the first tweet that appeared with your name
It was a 2 minutes video in high definition. In it, you could see you, with disastrous hair and bright eyes, hitting an officer with the baton while others neutralized you, and then a Sukuna being arrested next to you while you shouted something about rents and a honeymoon
Yes, definitely if something could go wrong it was that

Chapter 4: The last shift
This morning, the campus felt different. They were no longer whispers; they were shameless looks. The high definition video where you appeared hitting an officer with his own baton while you laughed like a demented person was already around 70 thousand views on Tik Tok.
If you continued like this, who would take you seriously as a professional?
That bounces through your mind all the time
But now
You needed a miracle and an exact amount of money.
Glad to say
you had already taken care of that, the position of receptionist in the late shift of the gym would appease your expenses for now
The soft sound of the cafeteria cushioned your thoughts or at least kept them at bay
The faculty cafeteria was submerged in the usual rush hour buzz, but you had managed to find shelter at a small and secluded table, far enough from the counter not to be run over by the tide of hungry students.
You reviewed the latest graphics of the project on the laptop, feeling a mixture of relief and panic: there was only one more meeting left before the final delivery.
And you still didn't want to see his face again
The fact that you had confessed to your crush how much you liked him made you want to jump into a volcano
"You don't seem very focused today"
That hoarse and dragged voice made your fingers freeze on the keyboard.
You looked up slowly
Ryomen Sukuna was standing in front of your table, holding a strawberry smoothie with one hand and sporting that exasperating confidence that seemed to be his daily uniform. Without waiting for you to invite him, he dragged the chair in front and sat down, resting his elbows on the table and invading your personal space as if he were the owner of the place
"I'm reviewing that everything is perfect" you managed to say, although you felt your cheeks burn under his crimson gaze
ªAlready, "rehearsing" he repeated, taking a sip of his milkshake without taking his eyes off you "Or are you rehearsing the speech for when they give us the maximum grade? Or our vows?"
"Sukuna, please…" you hid your face behind the laptop screen, wishing the floor of the cafeteria would open at once "Forget it. I was drunk, I didn't know what she was saying and one always says nonsense "
He let out a short and dry laugh that made your ears vibrate.
"Alcohol only tells the truths that sobriety hides, y/n" he whined at you, leaning a little more towards you
"Please be a normal person and pretend that video had never existed."
"And miss the opportunity to remind you that I am your prince charming?" He said with a malevolent smile, referring to the delusions you released that night "Not even in dreams. Get ready for the last meeting tomorrow. Bring the usual coffee"
He got up with that attitude that you loved so much, leaving you there, red as a tomato and with the heart hammering against your ribs, wondering how you were going to survive the last hour of work with the boy who occupied all your thoughts
~⭐︎~
The day went on as usual, boring and too long classes
When you arrived at 5, you went quickly to the main gym on campus and in the meantime you said they would hire you
Before you imagined it, they gave you the job and the schedules
A sigh of relief came out of you as soon as you got to your room, your shift started in two hours
One less concern
Nobara wasn't in the room yet, you knew it because a post it telling you that she would be out until late shone in the closet
At half past seven in the afternoon, you were already sitting behind the worn wooden counter of the gym. The smell of rubber and cold metal was intense, but the silence was a blessing. You had your laptop open and a couple of textbooks stacked, at least the manager allowed you to study as long as there wasn't much to do.
“Only four hours. Four hours of peace" you said to yourself, adjusting your sweatshirt"
"Hello Yn" a soft and familiar voice takes you out of the trance
"Oh, hello Choso" you said excitedly "How are you?"
"I'm fine, I just left the locker room, I hadn't seen you when I came in," he said with a sincere smile
"The shift change, I guess"
"Sure. Well, I'll let you work because I have an exam tomorrow and I haven't even touched the notes," he says
"I'm sure you'll do very well" you encourage him "See you later!"
He nods as a gesture and leaves
The gym was almost deserted after that interaction, you could only hear the buzzing of the fluorescent lights, the sound of people whispering in the weight area and the distant echo of someone using a rowing machine at the bottom of the place. You spent the first hour immersed in your notes, feeling strangely at peace.
"Y/n?" His voice sounded deep, with that nuance of seriousness that always seemed to accompany him "I didn't know you worked here"
You looked up and this time you couldn't stop a genuine smile from lighting up your face. Nanami Kento was walking towards you with her sports bag on her shoulder. He was wearing the team's training uniform
"I needed the money, unfortunately I don't monetize the views" you replied with a somewhat shy smile, closing your laptop a little "Training until late?
"Yep, since I can't concentrate to study at least I could train a little" he said stopping in front of the counter "Gojo is with music at full blast and it's impossible to convince him to turn it down"
"I can imagine" you gave him a smile while you played with a pen
"Well, I'll let you study," he said, relocating his backpack and disappearing through the locker room door
With the passage of time the few people who had left, just ten minutes from the closing you communicated the message by public address and dedicated yourself to saying goodbye to the rest of the people who remained.
You stretched out in the chair, feeling the bones of your back crunch. You closed the laptop with a sharp blow, satisfied to have advanced at least three topics without interruptions.
"Punctual as always," Nanami said, appearing again in front of the counter. He was no longer sweating and had changed his training shirt for a basic gray sweatshirt that fit him impeccable "Are you done fighting with the numbers for today?"
"For today they give up or I give up" you replied picking up your things "It's exhausting"
Nanami looked at you silently while you hung up your backpack. Right now your plan was to go to the residence to eat anything made in the air fryer in front of the television.
"Don't leave yet," he said, crossing his arms. "I'm starving and I'm not going to eat alone in my room. There is a place open a couple of streets from here, nothing pretentious, but they make decent food. I invite you"
"Nanami, you don't have to…"
"I don't accept a no for answer" he cut you off with a half smile "Besides, it will be good for you to give you the air"
He stayed there, waiting for you to finish closing the box and turning off the reception systems. At least, the idea of a real dinner with someone who didn't try to remind you of your weekend mistakes was an unbeatable plan.
Shortly after, you left the building. The night air was fresh and the campus felt strangely quiet. You walked a couple of apples in a comfortable silence, talking about trivial things: how unbearable Gojo was becoming with the organization of the next fraternity parties and how Nanami was looking forward to finishing a subject that was annoying his middle grade.
You arrived at a small place of those that have dim lights and worn wooden tables, one that screamed cozy
"For two" Nanami indicated to the waiter while directing you to a table near the window
"Ask for what you want," he said, handing you the letter. "Today the bill is in charge of my mental sanity. I needed to talk to someone other than a Neanderthal who only thinks about contact tactics"
You smiled at him, finally relaxing. You ordered something fast, basic dishes that arrived steaming at the table.
For the first time in days, you felt that you could have a normal conversation.
Dinner was quiet, between class anecdotes and complaints about teachers, until the sound of the door of the place opening made Nanami look up and roll her eyes
"But well! Is this a clandestine date behind my back? And without inviting me? It hurts, Nanami. My chicken heart is breaking right now"
That voice, so melodic and recognizable, crossed the place. Before you could assimilate it, a very tall figure stood next to your table. Gojo Satoru, the president of the fraternity and probably the most charismatic man you had ever met in your life, looked at you with a radiant smile.
"Gojo. We're having dinner. In peace. Does the concept sound familiar to you?" Nanami muttered looking up from her plate
"Peace is for retirees, Kento. Besides, I couldn't help but see our local celebrity from the window" Gojo said with a mischievous smile while looking at you "Y/n! You look very beautiful when you're not trying to overthrow the police force. The video doesn't do you justice, I really tell you"
"Uhm, thank you?" You said shyly
"What are you doing here? I thought you were still in the fraternity" Nanami hurried to ask
"I got bored," he admitted, stealing a potato chip from Nanami's plate without him being able to avoid it. "So I decided to go out for inspiration. And I find that my best defense and the girl of the moment are sharing a meal"
"Go to another table, Satoru. We're talking about things that don't concern you," Nanami said, rubbing her temples
"Well, well, if that's what you want," he said, leaving the table with a smile. "Goodbye, goodbye, lovebirds"
"That we are not a couple!" You both exclaimed at the same time
He left waving to the air, leaving behind a silence that took a few seconds to become comfortable again. Nanami looked at you with a mixture of apology and tiredness.
"I'm sorry. He's an idiot"
"It's okay" you said
The dinner continued perfectly, you remembered many things from your past, since you both knew each other from long before the University, you talked about random topics and between laughter and laughter time flew by and you were already leaving the restaurant.
"I'll accompany you to the residence" Nanami said as he opened the door for you "It's late"
You walked around the campus enjoying the night cold. He kept a respectful distance, but his presence was like an invisible shield. When you arrived at the portal of your building, you said goodbye and thanked him for dinner.
“Thank you, Kento. Really" you answered him honestly "Go rest, you look like you've played three games in a row"
He nodded with a dry but kind gesture and walked away towards his way. You went up to your room, where Nobara was already snoring deeply hugging a pillow.
You fell into bed, exhausted, but with the feeling that, for once, things were starting to get better.
⭐︎~⭐︎
The next morning the day felt repetitive again, you had taken a while to fix your hair when you saw the time, it was almost four in the afternoon, and you had met with Sukuna to finish the project.
You walked nimbly the campus to the library, you arrived, miraculously, ten times ahead of schedule leaving everything ready to fill in the last notes and necessary information.
Today there were few people so when the sound of the front door rang you knew exactly who it was without looking away from the laptop, his presence was always noticeable
"Wow, it seems that today you have decided to stop hiding" Sukuna blurted out as a greeting, dropping his backpack on the table with a sharp blow
"Hello to you too Sukuna" you said, you had already gotten used to his way of greeting not saying hello
He sat in front of you, but instead of opening his notebook, he leaned back in the chair, watching you with an intensity that made you want to disappear.
"Let's focus," you said with the firmest voice you could gather, although you avoided looking him directly in the eye. "I have finished the risk projection and you just need to review the part of the investment strategy that corresponded to you. If this goes well, we won't have to see each other outside of class again"
"Do you want to get rid of me so fast?" He arched an eyebrow, enjoying your obvious discomfort "With how much fun we had together"
"I've already told you" you repeated like a mantra, feeling the heat rise up your neck "none of that was true, they were just delusions"
You refused to recognize what you had said to your crush but that would only remain in you
"You lie," he said, lowering his voice. He leaned over the table, forcing you to stare at him
"Nope, I have the memory of a fish so let's end this once and for all" you clarified, grabbing a pen to divert your nervousness "Tomorrow we'll exhibit it"
Sukuna let out a mocking sigh and finally opened his laptop. During the next hour, the silence was only broken by typing and the rubbing of the papers. He worked fast, with a sharp intelligence that had always intimidated you and attracted you in equal parts.
You had no idea how he had failed that subject if he was so good at it.
When you finished assembling the final document, the clock marked almost the time for your turn
"That's it," he said, closing the lid of the laptop. "Project finished. Our futures are safe."
You nodded sighing, one subject less
He got up and, before leaving, leaned towards your ear, his breath brushing your skin, sending an electric shock all over your spine.
"By the way, the fact that you wrote my name in the notes… I hope you did it with good calligraphy. See you tomorrow at the delivery, wifey."
He left without looking back, leaving you with the finance document in your hand and your heart made a mess.
The second shift started much calmer. You already knew the codes, how the coffee maker at the reception worked and who were the regulars. You had spent the first hour doing accounting schemes when the side door opened.
Choso
As the days after the coffee incident you had met and you got along quite well, apparently you had similar tastes
"You're back! You said happy "Do you have to practice beating again today?"
"Something like that. I have to release tension" he admitted "By the way, if you want, a friend has brought me a blend of homemade tea that is fabulous. Since I know you love it, I can give you a thermos”
"Homemade tea? I accept the deal. But only if you don't try to poison me to keep my receptionist position," you say with a kind smile.
Choso let out a soft laugh, the first time you really heard him. It was a warm sound that filled the reception.
"You got me. It's a master plan to inherit this luxurious wooden counter" He nodded "I'm going to the weight zone. I'll be there if you need someone to move a box or… if you just get bored of the numbers"
He walked away to the bottom, not without first giving you a roll of pocketed cinnamon, and gratefully you looked at him for a moment. Choso was an enigma; he was part of that circle of influential people and athletes, but he seemed to be miles away from arrogance.
The afternoon was wonderful. Choso was in a corner doing deadlift with a perfect technique, Nanami unfortunately didn't come today and you were about to finish a difficult chapter. The atmosphere was of an almost suspicious calm.
A rumble of the lathe hitting the metal stop made you jump on the chair. Choso, who was in the middle of a series of deadlifts at the back of the room, dropped the bar suddenly. The roar of the iron against the rubber floor competed with the echo of the blow at the entrance.
"Up those hands! I've come to surrender!" Gojo Satoru's voice rumbled throughout the gym, loaded with a drama that only he could perform without being ashamed.
He appeared walking down the central corridor with his hands up, moving them as if he were in a robbery movie, but with a smile that betrayed that he was having too much fun.
"Gojo, for God's sake… I almost had a heart attack" you said, bringing a hand to your chest while you tried to recover your heart rate "And please, don't hit the lathe like that, I'm going to have to report damage and I'm new"
"Oh, come on, Y/n. A little excitement for the shift" Gojo leaned on the counter, lowering his sunglasses to look at you over the frame. His blue eyes shone with that stunned curiosity that characterized him "How is life as a receptionist?"
"Good, I've had a nice company," you said, nodding to the back of the gym.
Choso had approached walking slowly, wiping the sweat from his forehead with his forearm. His expression was that of someone who is used to Gojo's eccentricities
"Satoru. I didn't know that the president of the fraternity went down to the suburbs of the faculty gym," Choso commented in his calm voice.
"Choso! My favorite man of the free weights" Gojo turned to him, pointing at him with a finger "I see you a little weak today, don't you? Or is it that the presence of our charming receptionist has you distracted? Because I've seen you from the door and that deadlift looked more like a "dying weight."
Choso didn't flinch. He crossed his arms, looking at Gojo with infinite patience.
"I was finishing, Gojo. Not everyone trains to be seen from the window like you do"
"Touché" Gojo let out a laugh and focused on you again, completely ignoring Choso's words. Without asking permission, he stretched on the counter and grabbed a fluorescent highlighter from your pencil case, starting to turn it between his fingers "Listen, I've come because I was soberingly bored at the fraternity meeting. And I thought: "What will our baton girl be doing?"
"Well, work, like the rest of the mortals" you muttered, trying to recover your highlighter
"I've decided that I'm going to stay here to keep you company until you close. It seems to me that you lack spark in this reception"
"Gojo, no. You have to go, you distract me" you begged him, but you knew it was useless.
"No way!" He took out his cell phone and started looking for music "Let's see how the musical thread of this place sounds. Choso, what do you say?"
Choso looked at you with a mixture of apology and pity. I knew that when something got into Gojo's head, it was better to give up.
"I'm going to the showers, Y/n. The tea is still standing"
You nodded kindly as I disappeared down the hall and you were left alone with the white whirlwind. Gojo spent the next hour sitting at the counter
Turning in the spare chair, stealing your pens to make abstract drawings on your dirty sheets and telling you unimportant gossip about the fourth grade teachers. Watching people come in and out.
"…And then the teacher told him that if he left the projector on again, he would charge him the electricity bill from his own pocket. You should have seen the boy's face" Gojo laughed, while you tried, unsuccessfully, to read a single page "Hey, Y/n, what am I a better partner than a calculator? Admit it.”
"Yes, Satoru, you are," you said, although deep down, his incessant chatter was getting you to stop thinking about the training of the field and the face of few friends that a certain captain would have
He kept his word and I accompany you until you close, he even accompany you
Being charismatic and nice when he wanted was something that no one could took it him away
~⭐︎~
The next morning was a whirlwind. You had spent an hour in front of the mirror deciding what to wear. You didn't want to look like you had tried too hard, but you also didn't want to be a mess on the day of the most important delivery of the semester. In the end, you opted for something basic, trying to project an image of "imperturbable professionalism."
On the way to the presentation building you saw Nanami in the distance, who greeted you with a serious but friendly gesture with his head. The corridor in front of the teacher's office was crowded, some chatting others nervously organizing what they were going to say.
And then, you saw him.
Sukuna was leaning against the wall, right next to the office door. He was wearing a black jacket and his hair a little more groomed than usual. He wasn't talking to anyone; he was just watching the crowd with that air of sovereign boredom that got on your nerves so much.
As soon as your eyes crossed with his, you felt that violent turn in your stomach. Your heart began to hammer against your ribs as if it were trapped. You tried to put on your best poker face, pressing the project folder against your chest so that it was not noticeable that your hands were starting to sweat.
"You're five minutes late, bossy," he said when you were at his height, without moving from the wall.
“Nine forty-seven, Sukuna. The appointment is at ten" you replied, trying not to shake your voice even a little "I have brought the printed final document and the USB"
He straightened up, breaking the safety distance. You could smell his cologne, that aroma that you already had engraved on fire. He leaned a little towards you, ignoring the students who looked at you curiously.
Damn it, why is he so fucking hot?
"Have you slept anything?" He whispered to you, lowering his voice just enough so that only you could hear him "Because you have a face of nerves that shows a kilometer away. Relax. The work is perfect. I have reviewed it"
"We risk the note, Sukuna." you said, looking towards the office door, avoiding her crimson eyes that seemed to be mocking your pulses
At that moment, the office door opened.
"Ryomen, L/n… go ahead" said the professor's authoritative voice
You entered the office feeling that your legs were made of jelly, while Sukuna walked behind you with a smugness that made you want to hit him and kiss him at the same time.
⭐︎~⭐︎
The project was an absolute success; Sukuna's technical brilliance and your impeccable organization left the teacher without arguments, securing your grade
As soon as you crossed the threshold of the office and the door closed behind you, you let out a sigh that seemed to empty your lungs, feeling that the weight of the world disappeared from your shoulders. Sukuna stopped short, forcing you to brake so as not to hit his back, and turned to you with that smug look that made your knees tremble.
"See? So much drama for nothing, bossy," he said, putting his hands in his pockets while watching you with renewed intensity "Now that you don't have to worry about the tuition money anymore, I guess you have more free time to think about me… without having to be drunk"
"Don't start, Sukuna" you murmured, although your heart was beating so hard that you were sure he could hear it
"But since I have saved your academic future, the least you can do is let me invite you to something other than an adulterated punch," he blurted out with a hoarse laugh, starting to walk next to you towards the exit
You had barely taken ten steps out of the office when a very tall shadow cast on you. One hand rested with excessive confidence on Sukuna's shoulder, while the other ruffled your hair as if you were a pet.
"But what faces! That vibration can only mean one thing: either you got an A or you decided to finally set a date for the link"
Gojo Satoru
He appeared between you two with a smile that blinded more than the midday sun "Y/n! You are more radiant than yesterday, is it the brilliance of academic success or is it that having this brute around raises your tension?"
"Gojo, take your hand off my shoulder if you don't want me to give it back to you in an ice pack," Sukuna muttered, although he didn't turn away, which betrayed that he was in a strangely tolerable mood after the good note
"How aggressive, Ryomen!" Gojo went towards you "You should be like her, who inspires peace and tranquility, well when she is sober"
You just rolled your eyes
And he kept annoying "How does it feel to be the salvation of this functional illiterate?"
"It feels like I need a three-day nap, Gojo," you replied, trying to comb the mess he had made in your hair while your heart tried to return to its normal rhythm
"Nothing about that!" Gojo put an arm around your shoulders, ignoring Sukuna's murderous look "The president of the fraternity invites. We're going to that new coffee shop that has the expensive cakes I like, and Sukuna is going to come to carry the bags and so that I can keep making fun of his new facet of an applied student"
"I'm not going anywhere with you, Satoru" Sukuna growled
"Oh, yes you go. Because if you don't come, I'll tell the whole team that I saw you reviewing finance notes with colored stickers," Gojo threatened with a singing and malevolent voice
Sukuna let out a snort of pure contained rage, but he didn't turn around. Gojo winked at you, victorious, and began to drag you both around the campus while he kept babbling about how good you would look on the graduation edge if you posed together.
One day he matched you with one and another day with another
Gojo dragged you around the campus as if you were two trophies to brag about. He didn't care that Sukuna walked with his fists clenched or that you tried to shrink so as not to be the center of attention. He walked in the middle, with long strides and an energy that made people step aside as if he were royalty.
Well, so far everything was going well

Pairing: f!reader x frat boy!Ryomen Sukuna and a lil choso x f!reader in this chapter Warnings: bad decisions, a lil drunk reader, reader being reader, probably ooc, jealous sukuna, Gojo being Gojo, possibly incorrect information in sports, alcohol, kissing (but not with sukuna, yet), idk what more to say Notes: sorry for not updating, the macroeconomics parcial almost destroys me, but I survive so, voilà masterlist Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4
Chapter 5: Seven Minutes in Heaven
You arrived at the "chic" cafeteria that he talked about so much, a place full of velvet sofas and specialty coffee that Sukuna clearly despised (although deep down he also liked it). Gojo, on the other hand, moved like a fish in water, asking for three different types of cakes and sitting in the center of a semicircular sofa, forcing them to sit on your flanks.
"Isn't it charming?" Gojo said, taking off his sunglasses to give you a wink "It's much better than that dusty library, isn't it, Y/N? In addition, here the light favors you much more"
Sukuna let out a low growl, crossing his arms. His knee, due to the lack of space on the sofa, brushed yours. You could feel the warmth emanating from him, a constant and heavy presence that made you nervous.
You move a little in the seat, the coffee already warm in your hands. You are not used to this: sitting with Sukuna outside the library, with no books involved, no excuse to avoid looking at him directly. You barely know him, enough to know that he is intimidating, arrogant and that his presence makes the air weigh more, but after weeks locked up studying, there is something you can't ignore, the way he looks at you when he thinks you don't realize it
You were no longer there due to academic obligation; the work was delivered, the note was put.
So, why was he still here? Why hadn't he turned around as soon as Gojo opened his mouth?
Yeah, because of the colored post-its I'm sure not, you thought
"On Friday there is a match against those of the rival university. If we win, and we are going to win, because Sukuna doesn't know how to lose, I mount something epic in the frat. Shots, music, not controlled chaos. Y/n, you're coming, right? Nanami has told me that lately you are… how did she say it? 'Too stressed.' Time to de-stress, huh?" Gojo said with a tone that promised problems "This time we'll keep an eye on the alcohol!"
"Shut up Satoru, don't start bothering," Sukuna muttered, although he didn't move a millimeter, maintaining that accidental contact between your legs that was driving you crazy.
"Come on, I'm just saying that if he joined us in the game maybe she would give us a little of her luck" Gojo explains
And how lucky am I supposed to be?
Sukuna snorts low, almost a laugh. He doesn't look at you directly, but at the plate of macarons as if he obt him money. "If we win, the party is inevitable. Gojo doesn't know how to live without having parties. But it's not mandatory to come if you don't want to." His voice is hoarse, dragged, as always. Then, finally, he turns his head towards you, crimson eyes staring straight. "Although… if you show up in the stands, maybe it won't be so boring to beat those idiots' ass. I'm just saying. It could be entertaining to see you cheering for once, instead of fighting with crazy people."
Just when Gojo was about to let out another biting comment, the doorbell rang.
A tall and broad-shouldered figure entered the place, standing out among the minimalist aesthetics of the cafe with his dark sportswear. It was Choso.
Your eyes lit up instinctively and you waved at him. Since you became friends, Choso had become a constant support, obviously with Nobara.
"Y/N!" Choso said, approaching with that calm of his that seemed to cool the atmosphere. He stopped in front of the table, nodding slightly to his teammates "Gojo. Captain. I didn't expect to see you until training"
Choso focused on you, ignoring the expression of Sukuna's few friends.
"You're radiant, it shows that you've rested," Choso said sincerely. "Make sure you continue like this. By the way, I already left you at the reception the tea"
"Wow, wow" Gojo blurted out with a shark smile "Choso, I didn't know you had such special attentions with our "little lucky charm." Herbal tea, half smiles… It seems that you got ahead of the play, huh?"
How nosy
Sukuna let out a dry laugh and tilted his head, watching Choso as if he were an interesting but harmless insect. With absolute tranquility, he stretched an arm behind your back, resting it on the back of the velvet sofa, surrounding you without touching you, but marking the space clearly.
"It's a very tender detail, Choso" Sukuna said, with a dragged voice and a smug smile that made your heart turn over "I'm glad to know that someone cares about the well-being of this shorty. But don't worry so much about her tiredness" Sukuna leaned a little towards you, reducing the distance until you could smell his perfume "I'll make sure she doesn't run out too much when she's with me"
Is this happening?
If this is a dream, please don't wake me up
Choso kept his gaze for a second longer, a spark of defiance crossing his eyes before nodding slowly.
"If you say so, captain," Choso replied in a flat voice and winking at you. "I was passing by to say hello, although I'll see you later, Y/N"
You felt how the heat rose to your cheeks while Choso moved away towards the bar. Sukuna didn't remove his arm from your backrest
Gojo let out a dramatic sigh, as if he had just seen the end of a Turkish soap opera.
"Oh, Sukuna…" said Gojo, poking a piece of strawberry cake with a fork "So shorty, huh? How cheesy you get when you want. Anyone would say that it has bothered you that the good Choso knows what she does and you have no idea that Y/N works in the gym."
Sukuna released the air through his nose, a half-slanted smile appearing on his face.
He seemed relaxed, but you could feel the vibration of his body against yours on the couch.
"Why would you bother me, Satoru?" Sukuna replied with a feigned calm, starting to play with one of the spoons on the table "What she does in her free time matters to me as much as your opinion: nothing. If she want to waste time with guys who give away infusions, it's her problem"
oh
"Of course, sure… that's why you've marked the territory as if it were the last trophy in the league" Gojo mocked, turning to you with eyes shining with pure evil "Tell me something, Y/N… Who do you prefer? To Choso, who is a gentleman and cares about your rest… or to this animal that only listens to you so that he doesn't get suspended Finance?"
"Gojo" you challenged him
"Oh, come on! If it's just curiosity," Gojo insisted, lowering his voice in a conspiratorial way "Because, Sukuna, let me tell you that since you're careless, Choso will take away your position. In the field he is an excellent midfielder, he knows how to read the gaps very well… and it seems that off the field he has also found a "spot" that interests him.
"Choso is not going to take anything away from me," Sukuna said. His red eyes turned to the bar, where Choso was waiting for his coffee, and then they returned to you. There was no anger in his eyes, just that icy superiority "And you, Satoru, if you open your mouth again to say another stupid thing, I swear you won't keep all your teeth"
Well, until now disappearing out of nowhere and starting a new life in another country didn't seem so bad to you
Sukuna turned to you, completely ignoring Gojo. His hand was still resting on the back of the sofa, when suddenly his absence was instantly felt
"I have better things to do than listening to this clown's nonsense," Sukuna blurted out, getting up from the couch with feline agility.
And what's wrong with this one now?
He stood, looking at you from above with an expression that tried to project absolute boredom, but his eyes betrayed that Choso's presence had stirred something inside him.
"I'm leaving. I have already fulfilled my "social life" quota for today," he said, taking his backpack
"Oh, what a shame!" Gojo wrapped an arm around your shoulders, sticking you to him on the couch while looking at Sukuna with malice "Don't worry, Ryomen. I will take care of Y/N. Total, Choso is there at the bar and I'm sure he won't mind keeping us company when he finishes his coffee. He's much more… attentive than you, isn't he?"
You saw how Sukuna's jaw tightened so much that it seemed that a vein was going to be marked in his tee. He looked at Gojo's arm on you and then fixed his gaze on yours for an instant that felt eternal.
"Do what you want" Sukuna told you with a coldness that stinged you "Enjoy the herbal tea."
He turned around and walked towards the exit with a firm step. Through the glass of the cafeteria, you saw him walk away, alone, with stiff shoulders and that aura of danger that always accompanied him.
"Oos, how cold it has suddenly been!" Gojo mocked, finally letting you go and starting to devour another piece of cake as if nothing had happened "Have you seen how it has become? Not even that they had stolen the ball in the final"
"Gojo, you're a nosy" you reproached him, although your heart was still racing because of the way Sukuna had looked at you before leaving.
"I'm an artist of chaos, dear."
At that moment, Choso approached the table with his steaming coffee in his hand. He looked at Sukuna's empty place and then focused on you.
"Is he gone?" Choso asked calmly "I didn't want to interrupt your meeting"
"You haven't interrupted anything, man," Gojo replied with his mouth full. "Sukuna has very little stamina for the competition. Sit down, Choso. We were talking about your nightly encounters at the gym.”
Choso sat down and just put his arms on the table and gave you a small smile, almost imperceptible.
"It's not a bad place to spend the night" said Choso looking into your eyes "Training is hard, but seeing you smile from the reception makes even Monday nights worth it."
Gojo let out a long and low whistle, giving you a look of "I told you" "Wow! Choso, you're a poet."
You sank into the couch, feeling that the afternoon was getting complicated. Sukuna had left wounded in his pride and Choso had just thrown a dart straight at your heart.
The drama had just begun.
After a while of chatting, unfortunately, he said goodbye
"I'm going late to class. Y/N. Gojo," he said, and this time, before leaving, he put a hand briefly on your shoulder. It was a light touch, just a second, but it was a direct declaration of intent according to Gojo.
When Choso left the cafeteria, Gojo stared at you with a smug smile.
"… Well, well…" Gojo sang, observing the door through which Choso had just left with a smile of absolute satisfaction "It seems that the panorama is clearing and, curiously, it has remained a very interesting air. Have you noticed, Y/N?"
You stared at your already cold cup of coffee, feeling a knot in your stomach. The plan to "study and go unnoticed" had gone to waste the moment you accepted that deal with Sukuna. Now you not only had the king of the campus marking territory in a strange way, but his teammate being the ideal boy just when Sukuna decided to become unbearable.
The strange thing is that you two were nothing
Are you friends at least?
"Gojo, enough" you sighed "It's not funny"
"For me it is, and I'm gaining in entertainment," he replied, getting up and adjusting his dark glasses. "Come on, get up. I accompany you to your bedroom that you look like you are about to enter an existential crisis"
You walked around the campus in silence under the orange light of the sunset. Gojo was next to you humming a song, apparently oblivious to the storm you had left behind. However, as you moved forward, you couldn't help but look for a tall and tattooed silhouette in your memories.
But the road to your building was empty. Only the sound of your footsteps and the distant chatter of other students could be heard.
Upon arriving at the door of your block, Gojo stopped and gave you a playful tap on the forehead.
"A free advice, Y/N: don't try to understand Sukuna. The more you try to decipher it, the more it catches you. And it gives me the feeling that you are already with the water around your neck. See you!"
You were left alone in the lobby, watching how Gojo walked away with his usual carefree elegance
You entered your room and Nobara didn't even look up from her books and notes
"You've been late," she commented, "Another torture session with the Finance books?"
"Something like that," you replied with a tired voice, letting yourself fall on the bed.
You stared at the ceiling, reviewing every second in the cafeteria. Choso's calm, Gojo's gossip… and the emptiness that Sukuna left when he left. You tried to convince yourself that it was better this way, that without the work involved, the most logical thing was for everyone to return to their orbit. He was the sun of the campus, and you… you had only been an sporadic sparkle
Nobara looks at you sideways while she finishes writing something down in her notebook
"Again with a face of "my life is a complete disaster"?" She asks, throwing herself on her bed "Let go, say it"
You sigh, still looking at the ceiling as if the answer was there.
"Coffee with Gojo and Sukuna. Choso. Sukuna got… weird. He marked territory as if I were a thing , then he left pissed off because Gojo didn't stop punching. Choso was sweet, as always. And now I don't know what the fuck to do with Friday's game because I've literally been told that I'll be their lucky charm"
Nobara suddenly joins, eyes shining.
"The game? Sukuna's against the rivals? You go! Don't even doubt it. I'll drag you myself if necessary. It's the semester event, and after the cafeteria thing… this screams "go"
"No" you say although the knot in the stomach says the opposite "Just… I don't want another drama. The last party was hell, and the dungeon with him was… strange. I've forgotten what is shame since I met him"
Nobara rolls her eyes.
"Well, that's why. Go, see how he wins, because he's going to win, and if later at the party he gets jealous again… enjoy it. Choso is a sky, but Sukuna is a fire. And you, friend, have been on autopilot for too long"
In the end you give in. Not for him. Or so you tell yourself. Just to see if the chaos that Nobara promises is as bad as it seems.
Friday arrives with a gray sky that threatens rain, but the stadium is bursting. The smell of wet grass, hot dogs and sweat hits your nose as soon as you enter. Nobara dragged you to some decent stands near the field (more than you wanted)
The team took to the field with applause and chants. Sukuna headed, helmet in hand, tattoos shining under the spotlight, and with that posture of "I'm the fucking master" that made you nervous from the first day.
Gojo was behind, glasses removed for once, smiling as if the game had already won, Choso as calm as always ignoring the crowd and Nanami so focused and serious that he transmitted that energy of victory.
"Look at him" Nobara whispers, pointing to the field "There is your star captain warming up. It looks like he's going to eat the world"
Sukuna was in the center, helmet under his arm, pink hair ruffled by the wind. He moves as if the field were his, stretching his arms, with the tattoos peeking out under the tight shirt.
God those arms, what you would let him do to you-
Maybe you should lower two lines to your ovulation freakiness
The game started brutally. The rival was tough, but the team didn't give in. In the first quarter, Gojo ran like lightning on the side, dodging blows and throwing the ball to a teammate who caught him in the scoring area. Touchdown. The stadium went crazy: people jumping, hugging, screaming until they ran out of voice. Gojo pointed to the stands, winking at where you were.
Sukuna on the other hand, dodged two tackles, turned, pushed another rival as if it were paper and crossed the line. Touchdown. The stadium really erunted: chants, people hugging, beer flying. Sukuna took off his helmet, looked at the stands and… found you. He didn't smile. He just arched an eyebrow, as if saying "do you see? I told you I would win." Then he turned around and let the team lift him on his shoulders.
They won by a near. The final score was a delirium. Nobara hugged you shouting "Let's go to the party!"
And you could only think of that look.
After getting ready for the party you arrived at the frat, when the party was already at its highest point. Music that made the walls vibrate, colored lights bouncing everywhere, smell of spilled beer and cheap perfume. Nobara grabbed your arm and dragged you straight to the main hall.
"I'm going to get drinks. Then we will dance" she says advancing through the crowd
"Okay, but just for a while" you murmured while you adjusted your dress, maybe it wasn't the best option to wear today, you swore that every step you took raised it a little more
Nobara rolled his eyes.
"A while," she says. We'll see"
You stayed for a second in the middle of the room, trying not to look lost in the crowd. Then you saw it.
Sukuna was in the center of the sofa, surrounded. Four or five girls who had him cornered against the furniture. One passed him the beer bottle, another touched his arm laughing loudly, the third said something in his ear while he took a long drink and nodded with a lazy half smile that came out. The black shirt stuck to his chest from his recent shower, his pink hair ruffled, the tattoos standing out every time he moved his arms. He seemed comfortable like an indisputable king.
Just at that moment, he looked up. Eye contact was intense. His crimson eyes ran through you slowly, stopping on the rag you had today for a dress. One of the girls said something in his ear, he answered without looking away from you, with a slow, almost defiant smile. Then he took a long drink, left the bottle on a table and stayed there, surrounded, but with divided attention. All that remains is that look that lasted a second longer before returning to the group.
Your stomach turned upside down.
Before you could decide whether to turn around or pretend you hadn't seen it, Choso appeared next to you with two plastic cups in his hands.
"I saw you from afar" he said in that calm voice that always seemed to lower the volume of the world "I didn't want you to be alone in the middle of this chaos"
you accepted a cup, grateful for the gesture.
Before you could answer, Gojo came out of nowhere like a tornado, with a plastic crown and two shots in his hand.
"My favorites!" He shouted, getting between the two of you "Choso the saint and y/n the fighter. Are you already courting her again or today there are no balls for that?
Choso let out a short laugh.
"We don't do anything. We just chatted"
Gojo leaned towards you, low and evil voice.
"For now" he sings
And so he walked away, a lil drunk and eager to cause problems and revel
You two laughed and kept drinking
The party had gone from chaotic to uncontrolled for hours.
Alcohol ran like water, music was a constant pulse on the walls, and people no longer pretended: loud laughter, bodies stuck on the track, empty bottles rolling on the floor.
Nobara had lost you at some point between shots and improvised dances; the last time you saw her, she was shouting something about something with a group of girls.
You already carried several glasses on you, enough for the world to feel blurry on the edges, but not so much as to forget the puncture every time you looked at Sukuna.
He was still in his corner, surrounded by fans, but his crossed looks with you had become more frequent, heavier with each drink he took.
Gojo, with the crooked plastic crown and eyes bright from alcohol, decided it was the perfect time to fuck everything up. He climbed on a wobbly table, bottle and microphone in hand, and screamed over the music.
"Attention, losers! Time for a classic game to celebrate the victory! Seven minutes in heaven. Whoever doesn't play is a coward!"
People roared, drunk and ready for anything. An improvised circle formed in the living room, with bottles spinning and nervous laughter.
Choso in front of you, calm as always, although his cheeks were already red from the alcohol. Gojo settled down next to you, winking at you.
"This is going to be epic," Gojo whispered, leaning towards you
Gojo turned the bottle first. He touched him with an random girl, and they disappeared in the closet laughing and whistling. Seven minutes later, they came out with messy hair and idiotic smiles.
Then the bottle turned and stood on Sukuna.
And in one of the girls who had been attached to him from the beginning: blonde, with a laugh that cut the air and an enviable outfit. Sukuna let out a drunken snort, but got up without protesting, bottle in hand. "Come on, let's go," he said with that voice dragged by the glasses. The girl laughed loudly, grabbing his arm as they entered the closet.
The bottle turned again. Nobara with a guy from the team. More laughter, more gossip. Gojo commented on everything like a radio announcer
Jealousy, jealousy and more jealousy
It was the only thing you felt along the rum that walked through your veins
But you two were nothing, with what right were you going to feel something
After a sip of a drink that had been passed to you and adjusting your dress so that it would not go up, it was your turn. The bottle turned slowly, as if fate laughed at you.
it stopped in Choso.
The circle exploded. Gojo whistled long.
Sukuna took a strong drink from his bottle, jaw tight, but said nothing. He just looked at how Choso helped you get up
If looks could kill he would be so fucking dead
You entered the dark closet, the small space smelling of old coats and spilled beer. Seven minutes. Choso leaned against the wall, looking at you with eyes that the alcohol made more direct.
"This is ridiculous," you murmured, nervous, but the alcohol released your tongue.
He smiled slightly.
"A little. But… I'm not complaining"
He took a step closer, the heat of his body filling the space. He kissed you softly at first, as if asking for permission, but the glasses did the rest: hands on your waist, lips more urgent, a kiss that lasted what seemed like hours. It was a mixture of crazy but warm and very confident passion.
Choso muttered something like "we should have done this before," and you responded with another kiss, the alcohol erasing any doubts.
When a few knocks on the closet door made you get out of your bubble
"It's time to go out ,lovebirds, that I still don't want nephews" Gojo's voice echoed the small space and you laughed
When you two left, with your hair a little ruffled and your cheeks hot, you sat back down
Your cheeks burned, your eyes fleetingly went through the place, a pink mane was missing in the place where he had been sitting before, taking you a little out of your thoughts until you crossed paths with Choso's gaze giving him a small smile
Choso just smiled, returning to his beer as if nothing had happened.
In the end, you don't know how many drinks later, people began to move, ending the game with clumsy laughter and the odd stumble.
The circle broke up little by little: Nobara was dragged by her friends to dance, Gojo disappeared shouting something about "victory shots!", and Choso stayed a while longer chatting with you before excusing himself with a "I'm going to see if Nanami hasn't fallen asleep on some couch."
You were left alone for a moment, with a light head from alcohol and a body asking for fresh air… or a bath, whatever was first.
Following the vague indications that Gojo had given you before ("at the end of the corridor, on the right, don't miss it, there is a 'do not pass' sign that is cool"), you got into the dark corridor that connected the main hall with the back of the house. The music was heard muffled, like a distant heartbeat, and the corridor was lit only by a yellowish light bulb that flickered every few seconds.
It smelled of smoke, beer and something sweet that you identified too well.
And then you saw him: a pink mane standing out in the twilight, leaning against the wall in the background, a lit cigarette between his fingers.
Yes, it was definitely the last time you were going to listen to Gojo.
Before you could turn around and leave where you had come from, the silhouette turned towards you. The smoke came out slowly from his half-consumed cigarette, rising in lazy spirals under the dim light. When you realized, his crimson eyes were already fixed on yours. There was no surprise on his face, just that fixed, heavy look, as if he had been waiting for you.
Ups.
I hope you enjoy! Probably more if I survive Comercial Law

Chapter 6: Uh?
You froze for a second, everything seemed slower. He took a long breath, exhaled the smoke to the side without looking away and let out a low, hoarse laugh, which bristled the skin on the back of your neck.
"Wow, wow... who do we have here?"
You leaned against the opposite wall by instinct, your heart beating in your ears.
"The bathroom," you murmured, trying to sound casual. "Gojo told me that was around here."
He let out another laugh, this time darker, and stood a meter away from you.
His eyes went down for a second, running his sight along your body.
Your subtle neckline, the way it wrinkled against your waist, how it went up a little when you moved
He didn't say anything at first, he just arched an eyebrow, as if the simple fact of seeing you like this was pissing him off and fascinated
"Gojo lies more than he breathes. The bathroom is on the other side of the house" He took another put, the cigarette shining red in the dim light. "But since you're here"
The sentence came out like a low growl, his eyes returning to yours with a glow that made you swallow saliva.
He took another step forward, and the space between you evaporated. His free hand brushed the air near your hip, not touching the fabric, but close enough for you to feel the heat through it.
"What?" You asked, your voice coming out more hoarse than you wanted, trying to sound firm, although the alcohol betrayed you a little.
He put out the cigarette against the wall without stopping looking at you, the slow gesture, almost deliberate, as if he had all the time in the world to disarm you.
"you like Choso uhm?" He asked directly and in a low voice "Seven minutes in which I am sure that he was only able to give you a soft kiss"
"And what does it matter to you?" You answered, crossing your arms to gain space, although that only tightened the neckline more
Damn
"Do you like to play with fire?" He murmured at last, bringing his mouth closer to your ear, his nose barely brushing the lobe, giving off a slight smell of alcohol. "all night watching me and kissing another fucking guy"
"And what? We are nothing, Sukuna. You can't boss me"
Still
He tilted his head, crimson eyes shining in the twilight, and his breath brushed your neck
"Of course not, doll" His voice dropped even more, almost a growl, and his free hand rested on the wall on the other side of your head, locking you completely "Although you keep looking at me as if you wanted something from me"
The silence stretched between you, heavy, loaded. You ran out of air for a second
You swallowed hard
You, alcohol and being next to the most handsome guy on campus didn't help much in this situation
You shook your head
"uhm, keep dreaming" you said as you could trying not to stutter on the spot
Damn cocky bastard
He let out a laugh
"So do you want me to remind you how you threw yourself on me that night, while you babbled how much you liked me? or how our children would be named"
hot
that word could be defined again
your cheeks would be the definition
The words got stuck in your throat
Long before you could answer him, a female voice shouting his name broke the silence of the place
"Swetiee, where are you?" The voice said a little dragged while you watched as Sukuna rolled his eyes with annoyance
Of course, you hadn't realized who that voice belonged to
Yorozu, the president of the Alpha Delta sorority and one of the most popular girls on campus
"Huh?" You looked at him confused
Sukuna doesn't even turn around completely, he just tilts his head towards the voice while his arm is still leaning against the wall, locking you in.
"What the fuck do you want?" He respond dryly
Yorozu appears staggering a little in the hallway, heels resounding, bright short dress and a smile of superiority that not even four more glasses could take away
"What the fuck are you doing with her?" She lets go, voice sharp from jealousy.
Sukuna lets out a snort, as if he was lazy to answer.
"Nothing that matters to you, Yorozu. Go away."
You take the opportunity to try to slide a little, but his body moves subtly and blocks you again.
She takes a step closer, pointing at you with a perfect french nail.
"Really? This one? The one who was rubbing with Choso half an hour ago in front of everyone"
Sukuna finally turns to her, slow, dangerous
"That's precisely why she's here" His eyes turn to you for a moment, dark "Because she seems to like to provoke"
Your face burns again. You want to kill him. You want to kiss him. You want both things at the same time.
Yorozu lets out a fake laugh.
"Oh, how cute. The king of the campus collecting crumbs"
"Get out" he tells him in a low voice, but the tone is so cold that even Yorozu takes a step back
She hesitates, looks between the two, and at the end lets out a "whatever" before turning around and leaving resounding with the heels.
Silence. Just the bass of distant music rumbling through the walls and your breathing accelerated.
Sukuna looked at you again, now without interruptions. He leaned again, slowly, deliberate, until his mouth was inches from yours. He didn't touch you, but the heat of his body enveloped you all over.
"Happy?" He asked with that half smile that made you want to erase him with a punch
Your face burned with an unbearable heat
"I'm not your trophy to rub it on anyone" you murmured, although it sounded weaker than you intended
He let out a hoarse, low laugh that vibrated in your chest.
"No, doll. You are much more fun than a trophy" His index finger went up slowly, barely touching the edge of your neckline stopping to play with the necklace with your initial
The pulse hammered in your ears
His finger kept playing with the necklace, barely moving it, as if every little pull was a question without words
You didn't move. You couldn't
His crimson eyes went down to your lips for a second, then they returned to yours, and there they stayed
Fixed
Hungry
The air between your mouths was so little that you felt his breath brushing you every time he exhaled
The necklace swayed one last time against your skin, and he released it slowly, letting it fall back between your breasts
His hand was suspended there, millimeters from your neckline, without touching
And you... you still didn't breathe
The bass of the distant music kept rumbling, but in that corridor everything had stopped
Just the two of you
Suddenly, Sukuna took a step back. Only one. Just enough for the air to re-enter your lungs. He looked you up and down one last time, as if he was recording you in his memory
"Go back to the party" he said hoarsely, putting his hands in his pockets as if nothing had happened
your body still shaking inside.
You nodded without words (because what the fuck were you going to say?), you turned away from the wall with loose legs and started walking towards the main room
You felt his eyes fixed on your back all the way, like a hot weight
When you entered the room, the music hit you head-on. Strobe lights, people dancing tight, smell of spilled alcohol and sweat. You tried to mix quickly, look for your friends or Gojo or anyone to get you out of that thick cloud that Sukuna had left in your head
But not even a minute passed before being the target of somebody
You saw her from afar, leaning on the bar with two of her sorority friends, talking loudly and gesturing. When she saw you enter, her eyes stuck on you like daggers. Then she looked back, right where Sukuna appeared seconds later, entering with that calm and indifference of his. She pressed her lips, released something in a friend's ear and the three of them began to look at you with poisonous looks.
You were definitely going to need an energetic cleaning after this
Then Choso came. Poor boy
He saw you, got up a little awkward (the alcohol hit him hard) and approached with a shy smile
"Hey... are you okay? I lost sight of you after the... you know"
Before you could answer, you felt a presence behind you.
More like a look
Yorozu took advantage of the moment
"Wow, wow... it looks like you're picking up all the losers on campus tonight, don't you?" She said looking at Choso and then at you "First the soft, now... what? Are you going for the jackpot?"
Choso looked confused while you felt your tension increase
You were about to throw a heel in her mouth, the truth, but you couldn't afford another scandal
"Shut up, Yorozu. You are not invited to this conversation" Choso tried to counterattack
She laughed, but it sounded forced.
"Oops, what a protector" she looked at you while sneaking at Sukuna "Engeat it while it lasts, honey. Because when he gets bored... and gets bored quickly... you're going to come back crying in Choso's arms"
You felt the heat rise to your face again, a mixture of anger and shame
"Last warning. Get out" Choso said firmly
Yorozu hesitated for a second (only one), then rolled her eyes, let out a "pathetic" and left with her friends
"Don't leave yet" he said simply, although with a pleading tone
Around you, crimson eyes were furious with those who accompanied you, crossed your eyes while he drank
You swallowed saliva. The music rumbled. People were dancing around
all was messy
a sigh and now you find yourself standing in the middle of the room with a drink in your hand while you are dragged by Gojo towards a crowd
"I'm going to steal her a minute" that's what he told him
Wanting to complain to him about the lockdown, he moved you out before you can try to complain
"I want you to meet someone very special, my lil star," he says cheerfully as he guides you by grabbing by the shoulders
We’re defenitely not recreating Ratatouille
Before you can refute, someone appears in front of you, a tall figure with long black hair and gathered in a half undone bun, with a quiet smile
Suguru Geto
You know him by sight (the whole campus knows him, the quiet but magnetic guy)
The one who seems too smart for these parties
"I present to you the only one who really supports me" says Gojo pointing to Geto "she is the one who has been popular in the trending topics"
Geto looks at you calmly, an eyebrow slightly arched. He doesn't say anything at first, he just studies you for a second. Then he smiles softly, a low voice that sounds perfect despite the noise. While he extends his hand to welcome you
"Nice to meet you. Gojo hasn't stopped talking about you since you came into his life. He says you're the most interesting girl he's ever met" he says while he gives a kiss in your hand
"Oh"
You let out a nervous laugh, but you notice how Sukuna, a few meters away chatting with some friends, turns his head right at that moment
He doesn't move, but his eyes are fixed on Geto and you.
"Fuck, it's just that one leaves and another comes" he thought while feeling a tic in his eye
Like a nervous reflex you tried to play with your necklace but surprised, you didn't find it
You looked everywhere until you came across Sukuna's smug look and a half smile that adorned his so pretty face
Blessed be the day you met them
Ik this is not how I planed but I wish its worth to read enjoy!!!

Chapter 7: Espresso
Like a nervous reflex you tried to play with your necklace but surprised, you didn't find it
You looked everywhere until you found Sukuna's conceited look and a half smile that adorned his face
Damn conceited bastard
A glass and another made the next day the biggest hangover known by humanity hit you in your whole being
The horrifying sound of your alarm resounded through the room
"FUCK" you said touching your head, regretting the thirty thousand shots you took (my lowkey drunk ass has to appear, sorry)
"Shut up," Nobara whispered, covering his head with the pillow
Your panda-shaped slippers resounded on the floor as you leaned against the wall until you reached the bathroom
Well, now it could be said that nothing you ingested could still be in your body. Or at least something. The toilet received the rest of your dignity with a sound that made you close your eyes and swear that you would never look at a glass of vodka again in your life.
You staggered up, washed your face and the mirror returned a version of you that seemed to have lost a fight against a glitter truck and bad decisions. The hair made a nest, the eyes swollen and… wait. Where the fuck was your necklace?
"Oh, no!" you said a low voice, resting your forehead against the cold mirror remembering who had it. "Don't tell me that the wretch left with my initial as a souvenir."
The memory hit you harder than the hangover: his breath inches from your mouth, the finger hooked on the chain, that smile of "I have you right where I want" and then the step back as if nothing. And you, idiot, walking back to the party with jelly legs
Then, Choso, with that shy smile and soft voice asking you if you were okay… and you, in the middle of everything, feeling Sukuna's crimson look nailed to the back of your neck like a laser. Because of course, dancing close to him half an hour before had been a brilliant idea
"This is a disaster" you murmured, opening the tap to drink water as if it were the elixir of life.
When you left the bathroom dragging your feet, Nobara was already sitting on the bed with her hair a mess and her cell phone in her hand.
"I swear that if you tell me that you kissed Sukuna in the hallway I'll kill you for not telling me right there" he said without looking up, but with that treacherous smile that meant "tell me everything or I'll suffocate you with the pillow"
"Nothing happened," you said, throwing yourself back on the bed and burying your face in the pillow. "Almost. Very almost. But then Yorozu appeared, then Choso, then Gojo dragged me to meet Geto and… I lost the necklace. I think Sukuna have it"
Nobara let out a choked scream "The one with the initial? The one your grandmother gave you?"
You nodded
"Shhh, my head is going to explode" you begged, but you couldn't help but smile a little.
Because yes, it was ridiculous. But also… why had I left your heart beating like crazy if I was just playing?
The cell phone vibrated on the table. Two messages
"Hey… did you survive? Last night you left quickly and I couldn't say goodbye. If you need anything, let me know," Choso's message lighted up
Then an unknown number "Did you lose something, brat?"
How often did this man change his number?
Attached with a photo. Your inicial hanging from his fingers, illuminated by the light of a window. And below, in small letters: "Frat house. After training. 6 pm. Come get it. And don't be late"
You stared at the screen with your mouth open
"Damn…" you whispered, but the heat that rose through your chest was not only from the hangover
Nobara peeked over your shoulder and let out a laugh
"Are you going to go?" With him just out of training? Sweaty and with that t-shirt attached? You faint!"
You looked at the necklace in the photo, the same one that had been between his fingers last night, and you felt that your stomach was turning over that had nothing to do with alcohol
"Yes," you said, burying your face in the pillow again. "But if he really kisses me this time… let the ambulance know. Because my heart won't last."
Nobara just laughed louder and threw you a clean sweatshirt. "Put this on and a little concealer, you look like a zombie chic"
The day passed in a nebula of classes that you didn't hear
At 6:00 pm you were already walking towards the door of the frat house with your heart in your throat
The house was silent after training: only the distant echo of low music and the smell of sweat mixed with expensive cologne. The front door was ajar. You entered without calling
And there he was, sitting on the large sofa in the living room, with his hair still wet from the shower, with a black T-shirt stuck to his chest marking every muscle and black sports pants. His necklace, unlike yours, was thicker and brighter, something that gave him that vibe of a typical bad boy from those books that you loved so much
He looked up slowly, that malevolent smile curving as soon as he saw you
"Brat," he said, dragging his voice, "You're five minutes late"
"Give it back to me and I'm leaving" you let go, trying to sound firm, but your voice betrayed you
His mere presence made you nervous
He got up with that exasperating slowness, getting closer until the space between you became too small
The strong aroma of his perfume flooding your nostrils did not help at all to calm your nerves
"Oops, I think I forgot it in my room" he murmured, leaning just enough so that his breath brushed your ear
Great
"Do you prefer that we go up and look for it?" He asked, and the way he said it sounded less like a question and more like a delicious threat. His index finger slid over your naked collarbone "Total… the house is almost empty. No one is going to interrupt us"
You were definitely not drunk enough to hide your shyness
"I'm going because I love that necklace not because you tell me, eh" you try to say with all the little confidence you have left
Sukuna lets out a laugh as if he knew how you try to hide your nerves
Jesus
Yep, this house is big, after what seemed like an infinity of steps and corridors, its door appeared in front of your field of vision. Black, simple, with a hand-tattooed number 7 with a permanent marker (of course)
It opened without a key. Because who was going to steal the captain? You entered behind him and the smell of expensive cologne mixed with laundry detergent hit you like a slap. The room was… exactly as you imagined it in your most embarrassing moments, an unmade king size bed, weights in a corner, a team sweatshirt lying on the chair and a strangely well-organized desk
Sukuna closed the door with his heel. The click sounded too loud in the silence
"See? Here's your treasure, brat," he said, walking to the desk without haste. He grabbed the chain with two fingers and lifted it, swinging it in front of you. "But before I give it to you… I want something."
Oh!
Your back hit the closet door without you noticing. He approached slowly, invading all your personal space as if it were his by right. The pendant hung between the two, but his eyes were not on the jewel.
They were in your mouth
"Calm down" he murmured, leaning until his nose almost brushed yours "I just want to hear you say it sober. Again"
"Say what?" Your voice came out like a thread
"As much as you like me, not like the idiot of Choso , admit it, you like me more"
Jesus, Mary and the whole team. This is worse than being drunk
He smiled, that malevolent smile that had fluttered your life from the first party
Your heart was going to come out of your mouth, his free hand rested on the door next to your head
"Keep dreaming" you say with a snort, challenging with your gaze "besides don't tell him like that, he is so gentle"
Big mistake
Sukuna stood still for a second, processing your snort with that face of "really?" That got on your nerves. Then he let out a low, hoarse laugh, one of those that vibrated inside your chest even if you didn't want to.
"Keep dreaming," he said, almost savoring each syllable. He leaned a little towards your height, with that damn smile, looking at you maliciously "How brave you get when you're not drunk, bossy."
You tried to keep your gaze fixed on his eyes, but it was impossible. Your brain only repeated in a loop how close he was, how good he smelled, how handsome he was and how much you hated yourself for noticing all that.
"It's not" you blurted out, although your voice came out weaker than you intended. "And you shouldn't remind me every two or three either."
"Of course," he murmured, lowering his voice a little until it sounded like a purr. "And that's why you're still here, close to me, instead of running away like you would any other day."
His hand caressed your chin, the electrifying shock of his hand with your outgoing skin made your skin bristle. His thumbs traced a soft caress down your cheeks
You felt that your knees faltered a little. Your heart was racing and you were sure he could hear it. You opened your mouth to release some nonsense that would save what little was left of your dignity
Why the fuck do I have to be so weak when it comes to him?
Sukuna stared at you for a second longer, that crooked smile still dancing on his lips as if he knew exactly the chaos he was causing inside your head
Suddenly his hand went up to the back of your neck, his fingers tangling in your hair with enough force to tilt your head just as he wanted
Am I dreaming?
And then it happened
Before your brain could yell at you to flee, he shortened the remaining distance.
His warm and soft lips rested on yours, he obviously marked his rhythm, urgent, possessive and hungry.
The kiss became deeper. His tongue brushed yours, demanding, and you answered without thinking by tangling your fingers in his shirt. Sukuna let out a low growl against your lips, kissing you harder again, as if he was trying how far you could keep up with him. His free hand went up your side, brushing the curve of your waist under the clothes, pressing you against him with that raw possession that he didn't try to hide
Suddenly, the sound of three crazy knocks against the door froze you at the moment, Gojo's voice went through the wood like a megaphone in maximum mode.
"SUKUNA, I've brought burgers!, why the hell don't you answer" He was heard saying before the door opened to all its splendor, making you freeze instantly separating quickly from him.
"Damn Gojo" Sukuna snorted to himself
I want to die of shame. I want the ceiling to fall and crush me. I want a black hole to open right here and devour me
This at another time would be one of your deepest dreams come true but right now you wanted to wear Harry Potter's invisibility cloak and disappear
Gojo entered like a whirlwind, with a bag of food to carry swinging in one hand and the phone in the other. Geto came behind, biting a sandwich as if he were in the front row of a show.
"But well, what do we have here!" Gojo said looking rogue with a smile from ear to ear between Sukuna and you "so committing sins in this house, such a shame" he said holding back his laughter
If they measured your temperature right now, you might break a Guinness record
"OUT GOJO!" Sukuna scream
"Have fun, lovebirds! And don't make too much noise because there's training tomorrow!" Gojo song from the other side, hitting the wall once more before his steps and laughter were lost down the hall.
I need so much ice cream to contrast this shame
"Well, goodbye" you said as quickly as possible disappearing from his room
Damn my luck

Ironic?
Lion and the lion
"Really?" You say looking incredulously at the two missing keys
"Let's hope it's like that," Leon says with a slightly more relieved look
