Counting all the assholes in the room â well, Iâm definitely not alone! Iâm not alone. Youâre a liar, youâre a cheater, youâre a fool â Well, thatâs just like me; yoo-hoo⊠and I know you, too. âMr. Perfectâ donât exist, my little friend, and Iâll tell you that again And Iâll do it again. Counting all the assholes in the room â well, Iâm definitely not alone! Iâm not aloneâŠ
The fact that James Potter only used the Levicorpus spell after Snape used Sectumsempra on him is really important and itâs not discussed enough. It really puts the contrast between both characters in perspective: James was making soap bubbles came out of Snapeâs mouth and in the first chance to retaliate he gets, Snape tries to use a spell that spreads deep cuts all over James body. Noteworthy: Levicorpus, as Sectusempra, were made by Snape. It really says something about their personality that yes, James was being an asshole and humiliated Snape for no reason but Snape tried to phisically hurt him with dark magic and James would never get that far. And thatâs the difference. And thatâs why I love him.
âSee, James, this view is gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. Wasnât it worth waking up for?â
âIf by âwaking up forâ, you mean being jumped on at four in the morning by an eccentric blonde, then kidnapped, thrown a jacket, and dragged up some unknown mountain when it was still pitch black outsideâŠ.then yes, yes it was.â
-James Potter and Marlene McKinnon (said kidnapper), watching the sunrise atop a mountain peak miles away from Hogwarts, because Marlene was determined to still have beauty, even in the midst of a war.
-Taken by a camera which Marlene had accidentally charmed, when jumping on James.
-Circa 1976, Sixth Year.

You canât force someone to love you. The best you can do is strive to be a person worth loving.
James Potter (via something-slytherin)
if you think that professor mcgonagall didnât love james potter then let me just explain to you how wrong you are because among jamesâ many talents he was really fan-fucking-tastic at two things: quidditch and transfiguration and those just happen to be mcgonagallâs favorite things so guess what he may have been a little shit but he was her little shit and you know she loved every minute of detention she had to chaperone with him
