“...Nearest cafe...?” Was she looking for a particular one? Or just the nearest one? He’ll try to give an informative reply so that he can help the passerby civilian like an honorable not-quite-hero either way. “There’s one about an eighth of a kilometer Northeast that sells pastries and coffee, as well as one a forth of a kilometer South from here that just sells pastries...Would you like me to show you them?” 

There’s also one that is family owned that sells pastries, teas, and the owner has a cat. ( That one’s his favorite, but it’s a whole 2 kilos from here, not what the stranger was asking for. )

2,800 calories consumed. 198 grams of protein (eggs-8 egg whites as well as 6 whole, fish, protein shakes). 116 grams of carbs (broccoli, rice). 140 grams of fat (eggs, oil). 68 grams of sugar (rather high since he uses fruit in his shakes, and then Midoriya also gave him a cookie). 1 hour of high intensity running. 2 hours of light jogging. 20 minutes running with his quirk going... Still has to do weight reps and then study. Today’s been fairly on track... although he’ll probably eat something else than what he planned for dinner, to make up for the sugars in the cookie he ate.

“Oh, i-it’s no trouble at all! I don’t mind telling you… actually, I should have told you guys in the first place,” he mentioned, a little embarrassed as his voice shrunk. Why was he so scared to face his fears? It was just him informing the other about the recent circumstances, it wasn’t like it was happening again. Everything was going to be okay, they were here at U.A., they were safe.

Izuku’s eyes widened at his friend’s statement however. After all the years of him being bullied and never really having actual friends, it took some getting used to. A small smile crossed his lips, grateful to have him as a friend. “Th-thank you, Iida-kun, it means so much to me.”

Sighing, he took a moment to think of where he should have started. “The lead-up to the situation would probably make the most sense, that way he knows how it managed to happen. Then I could follow up with the event and what happened afterwards…” For once, he was able to catch himself mumbling, and immediately shook his hands in front of his face. “S-sorry, um, well… it started after everyone else left to do their shopping. It was just Uraraka-san and I. I-it kind of was an awkward situation, and she seemed more nervous than I did. She eventually ran off, saying she needed bug spray. I still don’t know why she ran off like that, but I guess it doesn’t really matter at this point…”

The sorry, while well-mannered--seemed a tad out of place to him. ( He was asking about the situation himself. At the same time, both the muttering and that struck as very Midoriya to him. He had good classmates, to be always worrying about others like that. The heart of a hero. ) “There’s no reason to apologize, Midoriya-kun.”

Meanwhile the thanks was well welcomed, and would have brought a small smile to his face if not for the current situation. ( The thanks was a feeling he shared as well. He wouldn’t have even thought to say that type of thing if Midoriya hadn’t said it to him first. When his brother... He felt Midoriya would never know how grateful he was to him, especially after he’d gone and joined another team in the sports festival. )

“...What happened after Uraraka-kun left...?” From what he’d understood, she’d been there too, but, again--he didn’t know the details. Only that Midoriya, Uraraka, and the league of villains had had an encounter that had worried the teachers. It was a good feeling being shared with as a friend rather than as a class representative ( he was much more used to the later). The muttering was almost worrying in itself, but he knew Midoriya to be the over worrying type as well. ( Maybe he should have started off with ‘Are you okay?’ before questioning. )

...At least one person? While he hasn’t received the most compliments in regards to his own face, for some reason he felt like Todoroki was the pretty boy type...? He thought so, at least. ( The way the other’s hand immediately rose to cover his eye, however... ) 

“It’s admirable. Strong, yet kind.” The face of one who has been through harsh times, yet can still smile with friends. Is that not what one would normally think upon seeing it? Like a mesh of their principal’s and Midoriya’s. One worthy of the highest of respect.

More confused than anything else, it only took a moment to analyze the situation. He’d been on a morning run, noticed the other just a tad too late to stop before running into him... There wasn’t really an impact due to both his and the other’s reflexes... but somehow... He’d managed to fall ( taking the strang--wAIT A SECOND THAT’S NOT A STRANGER-- )

“PleaSE PARDON ME FOR MY INSOLENCE, SENPAI!” Starts to try and get up, offering the other a hand as well. He could only be thankful it looked like the other hadn’t been hurt.

The mere mention of their friend Uraraka caused his cheeks to become rosy. Were they going to talk about her, out of all people? What for? Was there something he didn’t know? Was she okay? Was she hurt? All these questions went through his mind like a train. They didn’t seem to stop until he rephrased his sentence.

‘Oh, that’s what he wanted to talk about?’ It shouldn’t have surprised him. The recent events caused the whole mall to shut down, and just about all of them were there. Only the two of them knew out of all the students, so it was bound to come up. “Uh, y-yeah. Th-that’s fine!” His voice cracked. It still was an uneasy topic, but it would be unheroic if he hid the truth from his friend.

Looking around for a moment, he spotted some empty chairs and motioned for Tenya to follow him. Once they were there, he sat down and sighed. “So um, where did you want me to start? Do you want me to begin with what had occurred prior, or only mention what happened to me?”

It takes him no time to sit down with his friend, the behavior ( movement, following him ) naturally reflexive to where he doesn’t even think twice. Not that it’s someone one would think much of, but to the point where he almost doesn’t register the change of location. 

Perhaps because it’s someone he respects so much leading him, a precious classmate he enjoys spending the majority of his school leisure time with. ( ...What happened to him...? He’d only just barely managed to have found out who had been involved, he... Now he was even more worried. ) Never the less, a full picture would help ease his mind more. Help him better grasp what his friend had gone through. He just wants to know if there’s any way he can be of help. Even if it’s just easing a possible troubled mind of a friend. He’s not a hero yet, he’s still in training. It’s not his job to go after the league of villains or anyone else for that matter--he wants to know if his friends are suffering, and the likelihood of something similar happening again. ( Midoriya-kun does seem rather uncomfortable... ) “I feel it might be a bit hypocritical of my asking you to share these these, at the same time... I’d like to hear about anything you’d be willing to share. Please, don’t hesitate to rely on me, Midoriya-kun...”

Laughs is this a confession set up?

Iida loves his family from the bottom of his heart, and will do everything he can to support them and be someone they can be proud of. Part of why he admires Uraraka’s motivations for becoming a hero so much is because his family is what’s most important to him, so it’s heartwarming to him to see someone wanting to help their family out so much. Iida’s own family has a lot of money, so that kind of motivation isn’t something he’d have himself for being a hero, but holding up his family’s name and making his big brother proud is his ultimate goal. 

As for someone aside from his family, he holds love in his heart for all civilians, which is a big part of why he wants to protect them all. He also has a sense of fondness *cough* love *cough* for his new ‘friends’ that he has as classmates. Iida’s a much more loving guy than one might think! Though he is a little oblivious as to his own feelings.
