"British accent is a British accent nevertheless" wowee just wait til you find out that Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales are also part of "Britain" (and how many of us hate the term 'british accent). The likelihood of him developing the accent depends upon how long he'll end up living there, considering a person can develop an accent until the age of 17, and you have people such as actor John Barrowman who has both an American and Scottish accent after living in both places.
