Reaching around her, Trey swiped a piece of chocolate for himself, slipping the treat between his grinning lips. ❝You say that as though I’d complain about it. I don’t see anything wrong with that idea.❞

Tanja let out a soft sort of ‘murr’ sound as Trey set the flower in her hair. A playful smile crossed her face. Her hand reached up to meet his, then traced down the length of his arm. She remembered, then, how he looked the first time they met. That was a hard image to forget.
“How about a movie first… and then that other entertainment after the credits roll?”
Trey’s grin widened as he felt her hand running down his arm, snaking his own around her waist to pull her flush against him. He’d have to remember to thank Kouichi for bringing Tanja to him later.
A brow quirked at her suggestion. ❝Well, if that’s what you want, who am I to deny you? Shall we make our way over to the couch then?❞

“Oh!” Tanja gasped cutely at the spread, “Well, I must say, you definitely go all out!”
She approached the flowers and leaned in to smell them. Quite nice!
“What was this about entertainment?”
Green eyes watched her make her way over to the flowers, taking a brief moment to admire her frame before following behind her. He shrugged as he ran a hand through his hair. ❝My shop’s been doing fairly well lately so I had the extra cash, why not spend it on something I like?❞ Reaching around her, Trey plucked up one of the flowers to place behind her ear. ❝I was thinking a movie and hanging with the pokemon, unless of course we opt to leave them outside for another kind or entertainment.❞
The rather large man walked beside his equally large Arcanine, glancing at his phone with his free hand in a pocket of his shorts. Glancing up, golden eyes fell upon the woman as he approached. ❝Pardon me Miss, but you haven't by chance seen a cute, feminine guy with black hair and violet eyes walking around have you? My younger brother seems to have gotten side tracked and forgotten we were supposed to meet.❞ (stalwart-guardian)
Charlie is so busy staring at the Arcanine that she almost misses the fact that it’s owner is even speaking to her.
“Uhhhhhhhhhh,” the description sounds rather nice and she’s sure she wouldn’t miss anyone that matched it unless there was a dog to distract her. “Sorry dude. Haven’t seen anyone like that but - can I pet your dog?”
Kouichi sighed, pulling a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. Of course she didn’t. Great. Where had Aubrey run off to now? ❝Thank you for your time, I’m sorry to bother you.❞ He paused at the latter question, quirking a brow as he glanced to Ace at his side. ❝Ah...sure I suppose. I take it by your greater interest in him that you’re a dog person?❞ The Arcanine’s tail began to sway as if he had heard the question, and eagerly awaited the affection.

❝How am I supposed to get what I want if I don’t go boldly for it?❞ Trey grinned when she accepted, wrapping an arm around her waist to guide her inside. ❝Great~. I hope you don’t mind, I planned on us just hanging here for the day, though food and entertainment will be provided~.❞ The inside of the cottage was decorated...just enough, and as promised on the kitchen counter was a box of expensive chocolates and some roses.
Trey had sent a text asking Tanja to come to his place as soon as she was able. There was nothing wrong as he had made it sound, but he needed to get her over somehow. When she did arrive, he greeted her with a grin. "Hey you~! I assumed you'd be free today so I thought we could have a bit of fun and hang out. I bought chocolate and flowers n shit if you're interested~"
“Ah!” Tanja burst into shy giggles as she heard Trey, “You sly Skitty, you had me worried something was up! Made me worry just to… ask me on a date?”
❝Hey, I needed to know I’d be getting you to come over. You’re somewhat like Wichi in the sense you care a lot for your work, so you might not have come otherwise.❞ He chuckled some as he leaned his arm against the door frame, leaning down toward her some. ❝Though that depends, if I said it was to ask you on a date, what would your answer be?❞

Apath tried not to laugh, they really did. But there was no stopping the series of giggles that bubbled from teal lips, leaning down and scooping their little one up. Resting their daughter against their hip, the Successor peppers Chiyo’s face in little pecks.
“Y’look absolutely adorable, my usdi tsisdu.”
She joined in Apath’s giggling, perfectly happy with the entire situation. Even if her pigtails were uneven and looked a little silly, she loved them because her daddy did them. Just like she loved every time Apath did her hair.
❝You always look adorable Chiyo, but perhaps now mommy can...properly do your hair.❞ Chiyo’s smile faded as she looked between the two. ❝But I like my hair how it is now. I wanted to show Grandpa when we go see him...❞
❝Apath...I fucked up. I need your help to fix this...It's Chiyo...❞ Cue a distressed Kouichi.

“Wha’ happened? Is she okay? Kokopuff, wha’d ya do–?!”
❝I tried...fix it please...This should not be my job...❞ Chiyo ran over, quite obviously okay, more than even. A wide smile is spread across her lips and she’s bouncing on her heels, holding her arms up toward Apath. Although it isn’t at all difficult to tell what Kouichi is referring to, their daughter’s hair is currently put up in the most uneven pigtails possible.... ❝Daddy did my hair just like how I asked him!! Don’t I look cute mommy?❞

“Wow!” Tanja gasped, eagerly taking the prosthetic and turning it over in her hands, letting the Cubone sit in her lap, “That is absolutely amazing! Your work in just marvelous! I’ve never seen anything so intricate!”
She looked up at Trey, her eyes glittering with amazement, “Wings? You can even do wings?!”
She shook her head, then cleared her throat, “S-sorry, I got c-carried away. Your work is impressive, to say the least! I… uh…“
Oh, shoot, what had she come here to do?!
❝Thank you~. I give it my all. Honestly living out here and having so many pokemon coming through here that need my services gives me quite a bit of time to tinker and experiment. It’s taken quite a while, but I’ve managed to figure it all out.❞ He took the prosthetic back to return it to it’s owner with a laugh. ❝Yeah, pidgeys, noibats, even a salamence once. They’re a bit more tricky, especially to make functional, but I can do wings too. You don’t need to apologize, it’s nice to be appreciated now and then~. You’re welcome to look around for the pokemon you wanted to take with you, and I’ll give you my number before you leave if you need any of my services, which extend beyond making prosthetics~.❞ Again, he’d earned a glare from Kouichi, but he seemed to happy with himself to take notice.

Tanja’s eyes glittered, her heart melting at the sweet Cubone. She reached out to stroke the little Pokémon’s cheek, before her eyes snapped up to the Lycanroc and Trey.
“Alola? Oh, no,” she shook her head sheepishly, “I’ve seen brochures for it, but I only get to travel if I’m opening a new facility. It’s beautiful from what I can tell… uhm, which ones are her prosthetics, if it’s alright to ask?”
A grin tugged at his lips before he passed the shy Cubone over for her to hold. ❝It is, but then again, I feel like every region has it’s perks. It’s been a while since I’ve been home though, if you ever decide to head over, I can give you a tour.❞ Trey tapped his chest, the Lycanroc taking her cue to jump up and put her paws on his chest, licking his face a few times while he laughed. ❝Okay, okay. I love ya too girl.❞ He ruffled her fur a few times before he took to carefully removing her prosthetic front legs, causing her to lean on him for support. ❝Pretty good, right? Getting realistic wings is a bit harder though.❞ With a proud grin, he held out one of the prosthetics for her to look over.

Tanja oohed and aahed over the prosthetics and the Pokémon. She knelt down to greet each one of them, welcoming the distraction from Trey’s over-the-top personality. She gave each Pokémon a good head rub, then looked at their newer limbs. An impressed expression crossed her face, these were lovely!
“Hello,” she cooed to the Lycanroc, “I’ve never seen a Pokémon like you before. You’re very beautiful!”
Wink stayed back, uncomfortable around so many Pokémon at once. She was pressed tightly to Kouichi’s leg.
While a few of the pokemon opted to shrink away from the stranger, most gladly accepted the affection gladly. The Lycanroc especially seemed to enjoy the attention, her tail wagging behind her. While Kouichi picked up Wink, stroking her fur to try and comfort her, Trey knelt down beside Tanja to show off some of his work. Scooping up a young Cubone that had waddled his way over, Trey demonstrated the full functionality of his prosthetics. ❝She’s a Lycanroc, there’s a few of her loser evolution running around here somewhere. She’s actually from my home region, I take it you haven’t been to Alola before?❞ He smiled toward her as he reached over to scratch around the stones in her fur. ❝She actually has two prosthetics, but she has my more realistic ones so it’s a bit tricky to tell which ones they are~.❞

Tanja finally managed to breathe as Kouichi pulled Trey away, despite his protests. She was both thankful and ashamed to say she didn’t want to be pulled apart. Business! She was here for business, for Arceus’ sake!
“We-well, you come highly recommended, of course,” she motioned slightly to Kouichi, “As for Pokémon, I’m not picky. I train a wide range of them at my facility and I always welcome something new.”
A smirk tugged at Trey’s lips as his attention turned to Kouichi, leaning into his side. ❝Oh~? Is that so~?❞ Kouichi in turns imply rolled his eyes, knowing better than to give him anything to go on. ❝I’m probably the only pokemon prosthetics guy he knows, so I’m not sure if he’s got anyone else to schmooze about, but I’ll do my best!❞ He whistled, which in turn caused several pokemon to exit their homes and run over, many of which having quite obvious prosthetic limbs, although a certain midday Lycanroc didn’t seem to have any. ❝I’ll let you meet everyone and then tell you if you can have them or not. Every single pokemon here has at least one prosthetic, so you came to the right place for this.❞

Shoot. Tanja’s words were all scrambled in her brain. She opened her mouth to speak and a literal squeak eeked out the back of her throat. Whipping her head around and spying the humored expression on Wink, Tanja cleared her throat and tried again.
“Y-yes,” she nodded, “I have a few clients who have expressed interest in prosthetics. It wasn’t until recently that I even had the funds to start considering such an addition. And even more recent that I was given the opportunity to meet you- for the prosthetics!”
He couldn’t help but chuckle, giving her shoulder a light squeeze. ❝That was adorable~. You’re the cutest little thing.❞ Kouichi didn’t seem nearly as amused though, pulling him away from Tanja to give her a little relief from Trey. ❝Ow, careful. I’ll back off jeez. I’m just trying to have a little fun.❞ Trey puffed out his cheeks, leading them over to a small collection of forts of various shapes and sizes. His head leaned some as he pouted. ❝Awww, so you’re not here for me? Just for what I make?❞ A smile soon replaced the pout as he laughed again. ❝Anyway, what kind of pokemon were you looking for? I’ve got all kinds living out here.❞

Smile? Smile?! Tanja was desperately trying not to giggle like a dumb school girl, though it probably read very clear on her blushing, nervously smiling face. Everything Kouichi had just said shotgunned out the back of her head. Holy smokes, she worked with attractive people fairly regularly, why was she being such a hot mess right now?!
“Y-yes, I’m Tanja,” she managed to sputter. She’d forgotten her dang name for a whole second!
“It’s very nice to m-meet you!” She bowed her head slightly, “Th-thank you for seeing me- us! For seeing us today!”
Trey glanced over at Kouichi with a lopsided grin when he noticed how flustered she seemed to be. He hadn’t been told she was going to be this adorable, and Kouichi should have known how dangerous that was. ❝No need to be so formal! This is my home after all, not a business building...well...it kinda is, at least the workshop...but I digress! Come on, let me show ya around cutie~.❞ His arm draped around her shoulder as he led her out the door, receiving a less than pleased glance from Kouichi. ❝So you’re thinking of recruiting me to make prosthetics for some pokemon you get in, yeah? And maybe taking some of the pokemon here for training, is that right?❞
❝Mama! Mama! Papa says next time we go to the Safari Zones I can pick out a pokemon that I wanna take home or I can have an egg...b-but I don't know what kind of pokemon I want. What if I pick the wrong one and they don't like me? How did you end up picking Sir...?❞

“My little tsisdu, ya won’ pick wrong.” Settling down into a crouch to be more eye level with her, Apath gently grabs her shoulders. “No matter wha’ Pokemon ya choose, ya gotta work on building a friendship up wi’ ‘em. An’…I didn’ pick Sir.”
“My tribe has a tradition’a givin’ a child their first Pokemon at th’age’a two, well, an egg. Sir was bred by my grandpa an’ given ta me.”
❝I wish I coulda gotten an egg when I was little...but I think I want an egg then! One of the abandoned ones Papa brings in! And I’ll take really good care of it until it hatches so we can be best friends just like you and Sir!❞ She wrapped her arms around them, still a little nervous at the idea. ❝Promise you’ll come with me to pick it out? B-But no telling me what’s in the egg. I wanna find out by hatching it myself!❞
