☆Periods Suck☆
♡Teenage! Stanley Pines x Female! Reader♡
Yes I can! And thank you💖
-•☆~~~~☆•-
It was your lunch period at school. Although, lunch was probably the most enjoyable period of he day, you couldn't enjoy it today. As, you were on your period. And dear god, was it an agonizing feeling. You hadn't taken pain killers in the morning, so now you suffered the consequences. You sat in a dear in a corner and laid your head down on the table, hugging right against your cramps as a sad attempt to ease the pain.
That's when your good friend, or rather boyfriend, Stanley walked over to you. "Hey (Y/N). You alright there?" He slid into the space beside you as you lifted your head. "Mm.. yeah. Just a little pain." You responded. Stan furrowed an eyebrow. "Is it...uh... that time?' He questioned. You lay your head back down on the table in defeat. "Yeah.." You were expecting a grossed out reaction, although it (thankfully) never came.
"Aw, babe. I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked. You smiled at how he wanted to help you. You found it rather... sweet. A lot of the other boys would just be disgusted. So, you were thankful that Stan wasnt like that. "Um.. I really appreciate the offer, but you dont have to do that." You tell him softly. Though, he insists. "No, let's go back to your place. Ditch this one and go there." Stan then stood up. "Dont you have boxing today though? I was going to go chear you on!" You stood up after him. Stan laughs and grabbed your hand. "Well I don't have it anymore. My lady needs me."
You couldnt help but laugh at that. He walked out of the cafeteria and then you both slipped out a back exit and ran for the school parking lot. Ditching school wasnt an uncommon thing for the both of you. You both ran to his car. Stan opened the passengers door dor you and you got it. He kissed your temple then shut the door and got into the driver's side door. Stan leaned back and pulled a blanket from the backseat. He laid it over you. "Here ya go. Stay warm." He pressed a kiss to your cheek. You giggled in response. "Thank you." You pulled the blanket close to you, snuggling into it.
Stan turned on the radio. The songs were a mix of Uptown Girl, Take a Chance on Me, Be my Baby, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Build Me Up Buttercup, and Teenage Dirtbag. You bobbed your head happily to the music and Stan's fingers tapped against the steering wheel to the best of the songs. That was one of the more fun parts of life, listening to music or screaming the lyrics with Stanley beside you. God, you were a lucky girl and you knew it better than anybody.
Soon, Stan pulled into your driveway and parked the car. He stepped out of the car, moving to your side and opening up the passengers side door. Yet, before you could even shift to get out of the car, Stan swooped you up into his arms. You squeak and chuckle, laying your head against him. Stan kissed your head and kicked the door shut with his foot. He went up to your house and used the spare key you gave him to get inside. No one was home at that time. So, he brought you into your bedroom.
Stan smiled to himself. "Alright.. uhh." He looked around. You tilt your head. Stan blinked. "I'll be back." He ran out your bedroom door. You watched him go, confused. But you let it happen. You werent exactly sure what he was doing or if he even knew how to deal with menstrual pain. Well, youd have to find out. You pulled your blankets over yourself with slight hum. Soon, Stan came running back into your room.
"I brought chocolate and soda! " He chirped, pulling up a chair next to your bed. You looked at him and laughed. "Thank you, Stan." You leaned over and pressed a kiss to his cheek as he handed you the chocolate. To which, you split in half and gave half of it to him. "You're such a dork." You say. Stan scoffed playfully. "Hey, I dont understand this stuff." He laughed and took a bite of his side of the chocolate. You giggle. "I know. I know. You're trying your best and I appreciate it." You smile. "Good." Stan snickered and ruffled your hair. You laugh again and grab onto his arm, yanking him into bed with you.
Stan looked at you, getting underneath the covers with you out of instinct. You lay your arm over him and bury your face into his neck. He giggled at this. "You're the best. Have I ever told you that?" You asked. Stan laughed. "The one and only one who thinks so." He kissed the top of your head. You scoffed. "No! I'm surely not the only one! You're amazing! Youre caring about sweet. And you're even cute! That's a plus! You're the best thing to have ever happened to me." You say. Stan paused, staring at you. His face flushed. "You're just saying what I want to hear!" He accused.
"No!! Admit it! You're the best!" You tell him. "Never!" He buried his face on you. You huff with a laugh. "Well, you're never gonna change my mind, you know." You say. Stan stuck his tongue out at you playfully. You laugh and boop his nose. "I'm taking this as a victory." You said proudly. Stan huffed. "Finneeee.. I'll let you win. Just this once. Only because I love you." He gave you a quick peck. You smile, cupping his cheeks and pulling him back in. The kiss lasted until you both needed air. When that was the case, you both pulled apart to catch your breath.
"I love you too." You said, peppering his cheeks and nose in kisses. Stan laughs, his eyes squeezing shut as he did. "Alright alright, you dork. Let's watch a movie." You say, laying against him to where he secures you in his arms. You grab your remote off your nightstand and turn on some ooey gooey romance movie that you knee Stan secretly loved.
not an ask just wanted to say your fics are amazing and i regularly check here to see how you’re doing :)) keep up the good work i’m proud of you
Ah, thank you so much🥺🥺 I really appreciate it. Posting has got a little harder because of school, so I really appreciate it. My heart has officially melted. Thank you so much💕
Hey, I have a request. Can you do something like where the reader is on their time of the month and is out doing things and comes back home crying because someone yelled at them and Stan comforts them. I appreciate it and take your time! Thank you! Love your five btw 10/10
☆Rough Day☆
♡Stanley Pines x Female! Reader♡
Thank you, anon!! :)

You worked at a local grocery store in Gravity Falls and today was an absolute drag. As, you were on your period and it was taking a lot of your energy with it. You sighed softly as you wrung up your last customer of the day. "Alright.. your total with be 30.56." You say. They hand your their card and you swipe it. "Have a good day." You say, handing the card back as you stood up. "You too." The customer says as they walked out. You nod, turning off your service light and heading for the back room.
As you head into the room to grab your coat and things, your boss taps your shoulder. "Hey (Y/N)? Are you alright? You seem drained." He told you. You nodded softly. "Yes, I'm fine just tired. I'm going to head home to Stan." You told him, putting your coat on and throwing your bag over your shoulder. "Stan. Is he the one stealing your energy?" You quirked an eyebrow. "Pardon me?" You weren't sure if you had heard him correctly. "I asked if Stan was the one draining your energy." He repeated. You blinked, your heart dropping into your stomach. "..What do you mean by that?"
"Well.. you know. Stan can be quite odd.. and mean. I just want to make sure you're okay." He said. You shook you head. "Please. Stan might have an angry face, but behind closed doors, he's a nice man." You say. "I dont know about that, (Y/N). You're getting rather defensive." This made your blood boil. "Please stop speaking so harshly about my partner. That's very rude of you to assume things. Especially about a workers personal life. Good day." You quickly head right back out the door. Today had been stressful enough. You didn't need anything else on your plate.
Through the doors and into the parking lot, you make your way to your car. On your way home. You're finally on your way home. You'll finally be able to relax. You slipped into the drivers seat and put on your seat belt. You put the key in and turned on the car, setting your foot on the break, and shifting into reverse. You pulled out and then headed down the road. You turned on some soothing tunes for the ride.
Everything was going okay and you were calming down, up until you saw sirens behind you. "Oh gosh.." you sighed, turning your music down and pulling to the side of the road. The cop car pulled up behind you. You rolled your window down as Officers Blubs and Durland walked by your window, looking in at you. "Mrs Pines, what a surprise." Blubs said. You sunk into your seat shyly. "Yeah... its me.. Did I do something wrong?.." you ask. Durland stepped forward. "You were speeding! Do you know how dangerous that is?" He set his hands on his hips as he gave you an angry look.
You bite your lip, fighting back tears already. "I'm sorry- I must not have noticed. Today has been a really rough day." You mutter. Durlands look softened as he straightened his posture again. Him and Blubs talked quietly and then nodded. "Alright, Mrs Pines. We'll let you off with a warning. Get home safe." Blubs told you, then they both headed back to their car, and drove off ahead of you. You sighed softly, rolling your window back up. Your eyes still teared as you pulled off into the road to head back home.
You pulled your car in next to Stans and you got out, heading inside with a light sniffle. You walked passed Stan who was lounging on his chair, watching some sappy movie. He really had a soft spot. You walked passed him, to head up the stairs but he uttered a loud 'ahem'. Causing you to look over your shoulder at him. "Hey toots. You didnt even say hello. What's wrong with ya?" He questioned. "You seem upset." He added. You gave a small nod as you went toward him. "Hello Stan.. I'm sorry. Today was just a rough day."
He frowned softly, his eyes wandering to the calendar on the wall. A realization hit him. "Is it that time?" He asked. You gave a small nod. Stan frowned softly. "Dont ya worry, kid. I've got you. We'll have you feel better in no time at all." He hooked an arm under your leg and wrapped one around your back as he stood up. You leaned your head against him as he carried you up the stairs. You honestly werent sure what you would do without Stan..
He carried you up to bed and laid you down, resting your head on the pillows carefully. "Give me a moment." He told you, giving you a brief kiss on the forehead before he disappeared back into the house. It took a few moments before Stan came back with a heating pad. He turned it on and rested it on your lower belly. "Here we go.. this should help with your cramps, right?" He looked at you. "Yes.. thank you so much, hun.." You smile toward him. He smiles right back st you. "Dont thank me yet. We're not done here."
He grabbed you a fresh pair of pajamas. "Arms up." He commanded. You did as you were told. He lifted your shirt up off your head and replaced it with the comfy pajama shirt. Same thing with your pants. Once you were in your comfy clothing, he slipped into bed next to you. You rested your head against him as he pulled the blanket over the both of you. "So, tell me. What happened today?" He asked, wrapping his arms around you softly, rubbing your back. You sighed softly in relief.
"Well, you know work. It's almost never fun. Had a few rude customers, but nothing too major.. But when I went to leave my boss accused you of draining my energy. I know it could have been playful, but it still hurt.. and then when I was driving back here, I ended up getting pulled over speeding. Thank God they let me off with a warning." You explaining softly. Stan gave soft nods as you spoke. "Gee, kid. I'm sorry all that happened to you. At least it's all over now. You're safe at home. You can relax now."
You smiled softly toward him. "Thank you." You pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek. He smiled back to you. "Of course." He pressed little kisses to both of your cheeks, forehead, and the bridge of your nose. "Just get some rest, love. Everything will be fine. And I'm right here if you need me at any point." He told you. You nodded. "I love you so much." You laid your hand on his, and he connected his fingers with yours, gently holding your hand. "I love ya too. So much." He gave you a small peck to your lips. "Everythings going to be okay."
Can you do a fix where stan is jealous or a “treat you better” inspired one??

You had been with your husband for 3 years now. He was such a sweetie. At least, that was how you saw him. Although, everything seemed to change once you both had gotten married. He wasn't as sweet anymore. He wasn't kind or gentle with you. He started pushing the idea of kids, even though you told him multiple times that you weren't ready. He just didnt seem to care about you or your feeling anymore. You felt... trapped.
So, one day you headed into work at the Mystery Shack. You weren't exactly in your prime at that moment. You had a forming bruise over your eye, heavier on your cheek. You had tried to cover it desperately with no luck unfortunately. As much as you hated to admit it, your husband wasn't who you thought he was. Last night was only showing the increasingly worsening situation. You had decided to raise your voice at your husband after he raised his to you. Bad idea.. he hit you sqaure in the face. It was not a good feeling.
You were terrified that people would mention it. That was the last thing you wanted. All you wanted was for everything yo go back to normal. So, you slid yourself into your space behind the counter, ready to ring up customers for their purchases. It was only a few moments before your boss appeared in the doorway with a group of tourists. You flashed your famous worker smile with a light wave. Some tourists gained worried faces while others waved back.
Stan turned to face your counter with his big shot grin. But once his eyes met your face, his smile faded. He walked to the counter while tourists explored the gift shop behind him. Stan had grown a soft spot for you over the years, and he didnt always ignore it. He laid his arm over the counter, looking over your face. You looked to the side quietly, not wanting to give any attention to the injury. "I'm sorry, I tried to cover it.." You mumbled. Stan shook his head. "No, no. I don't care. What happened?" He questioned. You bit your lip as the panic began to rise.
"I.. got hit with a baseball." You said, lying. "I was walking to work and some kids were playing. It was a hard hit.. but that's okay." You gave him a hopeful smile. Stan huffed slightly and stood up straight. "I see. Kids can be careless. Why don't you come with me for a moment?" He asked you. You gave a little nod as you moved out from behind the counter. His hand curled around your forearm as he pulled you towards the door.
He stepped outside and pulled you away from the Mystery Shack. You looked back toward your work place with a new feeling rising in your stomach. You just prayed that nothing bad would happen. You hoped to god that Stan wasn't upset with you. Stan then came to a stop and you looked over to him slightly. "Take a seat." Stan said, sitting down on a log in front of an empty firepit. You nodded and shyly sat beside him on the log.
Stan didn't even hesitate as he spoke. "So, who hit ya, kid?" He questioned, motioning to your face. "I-I told you.. I got hit with a baseball.." You mumbled quietly. He shook his head. "(Y/N), I know what a punch looks like when I see them. That is no ball bruise." Stan told you. "Besides. You've changed. You've seemed a lot more quiet and sad lately. What happened to you?" Stan asked. You froze, tears beginning to blur your vision. You merely looked down at your lap, trying hard to stop the tears. Stan reached over and pulled you closer by him. "So, I was correct." He rubbed your arm in a comforting way.
"Who did it, kid?" He asked you again. Warm tears began to roll down your cheeks, you tried your best to keep quiet about it. "You know I just want to protect ya', kid." He told you in a low voice. You took a deep breath and turned to.him, burying your face against him in light sobs. Stan looked at you, hesitant, then he carefully wrapped his arms around you. "You know I care about ya'. It hurts me to see you hurting." He told you, rubbing small circles on your back.
It took you a few moments to collect yourself.
"M-My husband.. he did it.."
You could feel Stan freeze. He stopped rubbing your back. He lifted his head and looked at you with near disbelief. "Your husband?" He questioned. You gave a small nod. "Yes.. my husband.. He just.. hasn't been the same since we got married." You mumbled. "I really messed this one up." Your voice cracked and you nearly broke down in tears again. Stan shook his head. "No. No. Tr his isnt your fault. Not your fault at all." He told you, standing up and taking your hands in his. "Come with me." He lifted you up and guided you down a path.
You held onto his hand as if it was the only thing protecting you in the moment. He guided you out to the lake, standing on the dock with you. "Now, I want you to take off your ring." He told you, letting go of your hand. You looked at him, then down at your hand as you began to shake slightly. "I-I don't know..." you mumbled. "Trust me, (Y/N). If he's hit you.. he could easily do it again. This ain't good for you or your safety." He told you. "But.. where am I going to go..?" You question softly. "You'll stay with me. I'll help you get back up on your feet." He said. "I could treat you far better than that dick."
You looked at him quietly. He gave you a reassuring smile with a nod and a thumbs up. You looked out on the lake then took off your ring. You took a deep breath, then chucked it out as far as you could. It fell into the lake. Never to be seen again. You felt where it used to be on your finger. It felt so empty now.. but you didn't feel quite as empty as your finger. You turned to face Stan again. "Good job, kiddo. Amazing start." He grinned. You smiled back, then heading forward and wrapping him in a tight hug.
"Thank you so much, Stan.."
Stan smiled toward you, wrapping his arms around you in return.
"Anytime, kid."
☆2 Months Later☆
You had been living in the Mystery Shack with everyone for 2 months now. Your 'husband' had been blowing up your phone and trying to put you up as a missing person. Although, Stan had already confirmed that you werent missing, and you explained your situation to the officers. So, you were living a lot better. You had become so much happier and so much more comfortable. You were finishing up ringing up the last customers of the day when Stan appeared in the doorway. You looked at him as you finished ringing up the customer.
"Hey toots." He greeted, walking to your counter. You chuckled and gave a bright smile. "Hey Stan. How was business with the tours?" You asked, sliding out from behind the counter. "It was pretty good. Another day." Stan smiled toward you. "I'm happy to hear that!" You returned the smile as there was a harsh knock on the door. Both of your heads whipped in the direction of the door as it opened. Your heart dropped into your stomach when you saw the familiar face of your husband.
"Well. Hiding behind your boss, I see." Your husband snarled at you. "You're really trying to divorce me without even looking me in the eye?" He asked you. Stan grabbed your arm and pulled you behind him. "Hey. You're not allowed here. Get out before I take you out myself." Stan barked at him. "You're really going to try and stop me from seeing my partner?" He snarled. "They ain't your partner anymore, pal! Scram!" Stan shouted at him. "I just want them back." He barked back at him. "I said, they ain't yours!" Before you could process, Stan punched your husband straight in the face. He stumbled back, his cheek bleeding slightly from Stan's brass knuckles.
"Get outta here before you end up in prison." Stan snarled. Your husband snarled and left, holding his cheek. Stan looked back at you. Your eyes were wide and you were visibly shaking. "Hey- Hey. Its okay-" Stan moved forward and took you into his arms carefully. You laid your head against his chest softly. "Are you alright?" He asked. You nodded. "I'm fine, are you..?" You ask. He nods. "Everythings fine. Dont worry about it." He said, pulling you back into the house part of the shack.
Throughout the next few months, Stan and you would stick together. You truly cared for one another. Stan helped your officiate the divorce with your now ex husband. And about two years later, you were ready to start new. Stan was right there with you for the ride. He would always support you no matter what. Maybe that's why you loved him so much. You both were already so close and barely did a thing without the other. So, yes. The both of you ended up together. He loved you. You loved him. And the both of you were happy to spend the rest of your lives together

Stretch Marks
If you have stretch marks, Stan loves them. Stan loves every little quirk of your body. He's a touchy guy and though he does love to be a little mean for jokes. He will always love you no matter what. So, when he found out you were insecure about your stretch marks, he started calling them something new. He started calling them "beauty marks". If they were ever exposed, he also tended to pay some attention to them. He would tell you how beautiful you are and occasionally leave a kiss on the said stretch mark. Whether it be on your thigh, stomach, back, side, etc.
Scars
If you were insecure about any type of scar, you know well that he would try to make you feel better about it. No matter the backstory of said scar, he would tell you how it "added character" to you. That would usually make you laugh, which was a win for him. Then again, he would also give you all kisses if your scar(s) was/were exposed.
Weight (Bigger)
If your insecurity was being a little heavier, oh boy, this man would understand you. Though, of course, he was biased on this matter. He would praise you for how you look. When you would cuddle, he would always lay his head against your stomach. He always wanted to do this because of how much he just adored your touch. He would also let you lay on his gut, to both be fair and to let you know that you were alone on being heavier. As he was himself.
Weight (Smaller)
This one was a little hard for him to grasp at first, but that doesn't mean that he didn't care. He always assured you of how beautiful you are. Then, he would wrap his hands around your waist and pick you up. He would spin you around and kiss you on the cheek, praising you on your beauty. Whenever you would cuddle, he would take his hands around your body, lovingly. Overall, being very supportive of you.
Feeling Stupid
Not Being Good Enough
Whenever you were feeling as if you weren't smart enough, Stan was quick to argue with you. He would quickly tell you have smarts weren't everything and how you were one of the smartest people he knew. He would also tell you how he wasn't the smartest guy either and look at how far he had gotten! He was even amazed by the fact someone like you would like someone as 'dumb' as him. Then, if you ever needed help with something, he would be by your side trying to help you figure it out, though 90% of the time, he was just as confused as you.
Not Being Good Enough
As soon as the words left your mouth, Stan was on about it nearly immediately. He would immediately break and tell you how much you truly meant to him. He would tell you how you changed his life for the better forever. He would tell you how you were his everything and that he wanted you with him forever because you were the best thing in his life. He never let you go unappreciated and the number of surprise bursts of affection defiantly skyrocketed.

At peace. That's how you felt at that moment. You were enveloped in warm blankets and the pillow against your head and felt so right. It felt as nothing could ruin how at peace you were. That was until your lover decided to rip the blanket off of you. A waft of cold air smacked against your skin and goosebumps formed almost immediately. You groaned and tried to pull the blanket back, but Stan held it out of your reach. "Nope. Come on, toots. It's time to wake up." He hummed, a grin on his face.
"Stan, it's still dark outside." You whine, turning on your side and laying in a way that faced you away from him. Stan let out a huff. "And we have a long road ahead of us. Come on. I got our bags in the car and the car is running." Stan told you, his knee sinking into the mattress as he knelt onto it. You inched away from him, closer to the wall in which your bed was pressed against. "Come on, (Y/N). You're either waking up, or I'm making you wake up." He warned you, his hand reaching your side. You merely twitched in response.
He pressed a kiss to the back of your neck. "(Y/N).." he purred in your ear. You shuddered and whined. "Can't you just carry me.." you whined tiredly. "You still need to get up and get dressed, darlin'". He told you, brushing his hand up and down against your side. You squeaked out a giggle in response to this. "You're lucky you're so damn cute.." he mumbled, taking hold of your hips and sitting you up in his lap. You lazily laid your head against his shoulder, leaving a gentle kiss on it while you were at it.
"Don't you act cute with me." He mumbled, rubbing your hip in small circles. You look up at him with pleading eyes. His face flushed slightly. "I know what you're doing! And I won't allow it!" Stan moved swiftly and pushed you back down on the mattress. You squeak. "Wait, Stan!" You knew what was coming and he gained a devilish grin. His hands slipped under your shirt. His hands were huge seeming to you, his skin rough and calloused on top of that. "Stan pleaseeeee." You plead. "You gonna get up?" He questioned. You whimpered but said nothing.
"Okay, I warned you." He smiled toward you and he started scribbling his fingers against your skin. You burst out into laughter immediately. "No no no!!" You scream, squirming to get away from him and his method of waking you up. "Come on, (Y/N)! You know the drill!" Stan urges you, moving from your sides to scribbling against your ribs. "Okay! Okay! I'll get up! Just please stop!" You squealed through your laughter. Stan laughed and came to a stop. "Good." He gave you a small kiss on the nose, getting up off of you and pulling you up and out of bed.
You roll your eyes and grab your clothes, stripping off. Stan stood in the doorway, grinning playfully. "Lookin' good, toots." He sent you a wink. Nothing you weren't used to. A chuckle escaped your throat. "Oh, shut up, old man." You threw your shirt at him, the fabric splatting on his face. He takes it off and tosses it into the hamper. "Who you calling old man? Do I need to give you another lesson?" He asked, inching over behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. "No, I'm good. Thank you though." You shot him a grin.
He chuckled and pressed a kiss to your bareback and up to the back of your neck. "For wanting me to get up and ready, you sure are stalling me, Stan." You teased. "I suppose you're right." He pressed another kiss to the side of your neck. "Not that you would hate it." You giggle as he parts his body from yours. You threw your fresh shirt on, then running to the bathroom to tend to your own personal hygiene.
Soon, you book it down to the kitchen where Stan is waiting for you. "There you are. It's about time." Stan tried over to you with his usual grin. "You ready?" He asked, pulling you close to him and peppering kisses all around your face. If this man wasn't the embodiment of physical affection, then you didn't know what was. You laugh and return it with a peck to his lips. "Yeah, now I am. Where exactly are we going?" You question as Stan scoops you up into his arms. "Wherever the road takes us, sugar." He pressed yet another kiss to your temple.
Stan carried you out to his car, which was kept surprisingly nest for how reckless he could be. You expected more denting, but no. He kept it in good shape. He opened your car door and set you in the seat, taking your seatbelt and putting it on for you. "Now yours spoiling me, huh?" You smiled toward him with gleaming eyes. "Gotta do something for you." Stan squeezed your shoulder softly before getting out of your way and shutting your car door. He then walks around the hood of the car, then slipping into the driver's seat. He shuts his door and turns on the ignition. (Again.) You watch him.
"Seatbelt, Stanley." You urged. Stan responds with a blank stare. For some reason, he was always against having his own seatbelt on. Yet, he always made you wear one. "Put it onnnnn." You told him. "Fine, fine." He waved his hand at you and put his seatbelt on. You were satisfied at the click of the buckle.
He sets his foot on the brake, then shifted into reverse. He backed out, stopped, shifted into drive, then he set off down the road. You watch out the window, listening to the gentle tap of Stan's fingers against the steering wheel. You both made some quiet small talk throughout your time on the road. You had been driving for about 3 hours when you gave a light shudder. Stan noticed this from the corner of his eye, turning on hazards and pulling to the side of the road. "Huh?" You looked over to him. He carefully took off his jacket and threw it over you. Then, flipped hazards off and got back onto the road. You stared at him blankly.
"You just know exactly what I'm thinking. Don't ya?" You laugh and wrap the thick jacket around your shoulders. Stan smiled in response to that. "Yeah, well. After years of loving and living with someone, you get to know every one of their little quirks. Like that shudder you did. You shutter, cross your leg and hug yourself when you're cold. Though that's easy to spot." Stan says casually. You snicker. "You're a dork you know." You send him a smile and he smiled back, although having a main focus on the road ahead.
There's another comfortable silence. You lay your head against the window, feeling the soft rumbling of the movement of the car. It's comfortable. You almost feel as if you're ready to doze off once more. You're about to doze off, but you feel Stan's hand touch your thigh. He gives a soft hum, rubbing your thigh softly with his thumb. It seemed more like a caring motion than anything. Since you were slumped, it was probably one of the only ways he could reach you. You pretended to be asleep, not wanting him to stop the motion.
He continued on for a few minutes. His hand drifted down your leg till his hand reached right above your knee. You were confused as to why he stopped the motion. He squeezed your knee with his thumb and index finger. Your leg jolted at the touch and you sat up. "I knew you were awake." Stan chuckled. "Noooo... You woke me up. Now you owe me a kiss." You said, crossing your arms playfully. "No you weren't, toots. Remember, I know your quirks. And you were far too stiff to be asleep." Stan chuckled as he pulled onto a gravel road. "But I will still give you your kiss when we stop."
You smile and Stan retracts his hand back onto the steering wheel. The gravel road went on for about 15 more minutes until the road ended, the only thing ahead of you being grass. Stan stops and parks the car, unbuckling his seatbelt and getting out. You took your seatbelt off and Stan opened your door for you. "Thanks." You smile and step out of the car. Stan shuts the door behind you and rested his hand on the small of your back. "Do you know where we're going?" You cock your head to the side. Stan just smiled in response, leading you down the grass path, trees on either side of you. "Just trust me." He breathes out. You nod and follow.
It takes a little while, but eventually, Stan stops you. You look to him. "I'm going to need you to close your eyes." He says. You tilted your head. "You're not planning to murder me. Are you?" You stifled a laugh. Stan laughs and shakes his head. "No, just trust me." He takes your smaller hand in his significantly larger one. You closed your eyes and he guided you to somewhere unknown. Soon, there's a faint sound of water. Then, it gets louder and louder. Until Stan comes to a sudden stop, causing you to bump into him slightly. He wrapped his arm around your waist in a secure manner.
"Can... Can I open my eyes?" You asked. "Not yet. Give me your hand." Stan commands. You nod and hold up your hand. "Now, (Y/N). I've had this idea for about a year now." He said, in a softer tone than normal. "And you know how marriage isn't exactly my thing." You feel him shift his weight. "But I still want to show my commitment." He tells you, taking a deep breath.
"(Y/N), we've been together for 6 years now. And I have never experienced the amount of happiness and comfort that I have when I've been with you. I never want my time with you to end. Life has rarely been kind to me, but it seems like I've finally gotten some sympathy. Because you've been brought onto my life. You're the light in my life. The thing I would live for. My first and last thought of the day. I would be more than lost without you. And although, we agreed to not go through the official marriage process...but..." He slips something on your finger. "I still want to make you this promise. This promise to stay with you through everything. So, (Y/N), will you promise to stay forever with me?.."
Your eyes opened, immediately shining with joyful tears. "Stan..." Warm tears slipped down your cheeks and you threw your arms around him so tight. He returned the tight embrace, burying his face against your shoulder as he swayed softjly. You hadn't even noticed the beautiful scene he took you to. A beautiful scene where trees enclosed this beautiful waterfall. The trees were bright vibrant orange, red, and yellow. The fall time was always so beautiful. You looked back to Stan, laying your head against his own. "Of course I will. Of course." The both of you tightened your grip on one another. "I would never say no to that." You whisper, brushing your fingers against his cheek. "I can promise you that."
He smiled back at you and without warning, he pressed his lips to yours. He moved his arms and wrapped them tightly around your hips, pulling you close so your bodies were pressed together. Your arms wrapped around his neck and you tangled your fingers in his hair. You both just seemed to melt into one another as this was the best moment in your life. It seemed to last for an eternity. Though, you found yourselves pulling apart only a small amount for air. You pressed your forehead against him softly. "God, I love you so much." Stan breathed out. "I love you too. So much.." You smiled, breathtakingly.

That next summer, Mabel and Dipper came for yet another visit. As soon as Stan and you video called them to tell them the news, they decided they had to come back to Gravity Falls. Mabel excitedly squealed while Dipper congratulated you both fondly. Ford was also pleased and happy for the both of you. So, as soon as the twins came back to Gravity Falls, Mabel had the idea to throw an 'unofficial official' wedding for both you and Stan. Mabel helped you dress up and was your maid of honor, which she greatly accepted the role of.
Mabel had decorated the place outside the shack, against the woods. There were told up chairs and Mabel threw rose pedals over the makeshift aisle. When you walked down the aisle, Stan's eyes lit up like never before. You came and stood in front of him, your hands wrapped around each other. Everyone from the small town came to the wedding, sitting in the various fold-up chairs. Dipper and Ford stood beside Stan while Mabel and Wendy stood beside you. Soos was standing nearby, trying to play music.
Mabel quickly got up and got in the middle of you. She let you both say your vows to each other, which you both wrote on your own. "Waddles! The rings!" Mabel called as Pacifica came down the aisle, luring Waddles down the aisle, who had a pillow attached to him with two rings. Pacifica hurried back to her seat as you and Stan both took the rings. Waddles ran off as soon as he got the chance. Mabel cleared her throat. "Now, do you, Grunkle Stan take (Y/N) to be your unlawfully sorta wedded partner?" Mabel asked. Stan fumbled. "I do." He said, with a happy gleam in his eye. He slipped the ring on your finger. "And do you, (Y/N), take Grunkle Stan to be your unlawfully sorta wedded partner?" Mabel asked. You smiled brightly as a tear slipped down your cheek. "I do." You slipped the ring onto his finger.
"You may now kiss the Grunkle!"
Stan and you didn't hesitate, pulling each other into an embrace, lips together in a passionate kiss. Everyone watching erupted in a cheer and clapped. The kiss lasted a couple of moments before you both pulled away with big smiles, hands still intertwined. You were greeted with big smiles and cheering. Your heart pounded and you swooned in the amount of life you had felt. Stan then scooped you up into his arms, peppering kisses all over your face as he headed back down the aisle. Everyone watched you as you both left.
This had to be the best day of your life. No doubts about it.

It was just another ordinary day. You and Stan were doing your work in the Shack. Stan had just finished up one of his tours and was standing at the gift shop counter, ringing up customers while overcharging everything for them. Typical. You roll your eyes slightly with a small grin. You look around, dusting some cobwebs out of the corners. Though you can't help but watch Stan and a customer out of the corner of your eye.
There's another person with Stan. A lady to be exact. A really pretty lady at that. You shook your head and continued your dusting. Though something just doesn't feel right. You feel your skin crawl as the overwhelming urge to look back overcomes you. You knew Stan only had eyes for you, as he said multiple times. But something about this lady just made your skin crawl. Was this just petty jealously? Possibly. You snuck another glance back at them. Just to make sure nothing was happening. Yeah. That's right.
Your blood boils at the sight. The lady was leaning over the counter, leaning closer to Stan. You knew he was a catch, but yikes. Stan doesn't seem too interested in the encounter, thankfully. He just takes a sly step back, ringing up her items and setting the bag on the counter in front of her, instead of handing it to her like he does a normal customer. Though, the lady keeps on chatting away with your lover. The look she gave him to the way she smiled whenever he answered to whatever she told him.. none of it sat right with you. Not one bit.
After a split moment of internal rage, the step stool you had been standing on to reach the corners fell from beneath you. You fell backward with a crash to the floor. You gasped, having the breath knocked out of you. You put a hand over your chest and waited for your breath to catch. Once you sit up, Stan speaks up. "(Y/N)! Are you alright?" He called from over the counter. He and the lady were looking at you. Along with some of the other tourists. You hesitate, "yes. I'm fine." You mutter. "Do you need any help?" He takes a step to get out from behind the counter.
"No, it's fine. I can wait until you're done talking to her."
Stan shook his head at your reply. "Soos, take over for me. Won't ya?" Stan hurriedly came out from behind the counter and to your side. "Yes, boss!" Soos saluted to Stan, then went and stood behind the counter to ring up customers. "You took quite a fall there, didn't ya, toots?" Stan hooked his arm under yours and helped you up to your feet. "Yeah, I suppose I did." You laid your head against his shoulder as he moved your arm over his shoulder. "Gee, Stan. It really wasn't that bad of a fall. I can still walk." You breathe out, but he hushes you. "Nonsense." He moves you into a separate room and sits you down on a bench.
"No- Stan, I promise it really isn't that bad." You insist. Stan chuckled under his breath. "I know it wasn't." He told you, sending you a grin. Your head cocks with a hint of confusion. "What do you mean?" You question. Stan sits down beside you and hooks his arm around you. "Oh please, your looks are far too obvious. I could sense that rage from a mile away. You were jelaous." He called you out head on the nail. He was right.
Your face flushes and you look away, nearly wishing you just decided to dust in a different room. This gets a laugh out of Stan. "So I'm correct." His laughter fills the room. A pleasant sound, but not enough for you to recover from how embarrassing your obviousness was. "Hey, don't worry, kid. That lady was a lil too touchy anyway. I needed an excuse to get out of there." He places a kiss against your temple. "Though, you are pretty cute when you're jealous. You really want me to yourself, huh?" He smirks toward you. God, he's bold.
"Hey, shut up!" You nudge him with your elbow and he laughs. "You know I'm right!" He lets out a belly laugh. "You are and I hate it!!" You can't help but laugh. His laughter surely was contagious. The mood quickly flipped from heavy to light just with a laugh. "Damn right I am!" Stan sends you a bright grin as he pulls you closer to him. You giggle at his mannerisms. He's irresistible. He truly is. You laid your head against his shoulder and lays his chin on top of your head. "I love ya, kid. You know I do." He squeezed your shoulder. "I love you too, Stan." You grin to him.
"How about we stay in here for a while? Just you and me." Stan asked, moving his leg out and pushing the door shut. You laugh softly. "I would like. I would like that very much." You shifted and threw your legs over his lap and wrapping your arms around his neck. He pulls you up fully into his lap. "You're sure that they won't need us out there?" You question. He laughs and shakes his head. "Nah, they can live without us for a little while." He kisses your temple, to your cheekbone, to your cheek itself, pressing a few extra kisses to your cheek. "Alright, I'll hold you to that." You smiled and pull him into a kiss. You two might be a while.. Take that as you will.

☆Helping With His Insecurites☆
Also, heres a quick (A/N), I just wanted to thank you guys for the positive feedback on my fanfics! I never expected people to like them. I started them because I noticed how criminally underrated Stan was, and with my love for him, I wanted to write more of it. So, it overjoys me to know that people enjoy my work. Thank you♡

Believe it or not, but Stan does have his fair share of insecurities. We're all human after all. But, with insecurities, comes ways you have to help him through. Of course, you're always willing to help him with anything. You would drop anything for him if you so needed to. So, it's only reasonable for you to want to spare him some hard feelings. Such as..
His Gut
One of Stan's physical insecurities would have to be his body. Although, he prefers not to show any of his negative emotions... After years, he's come to open up to you. He always knew that you would never judge him for feeling insecure. As it was just as normal as any other human being insecure. Some days you'll find Stan getting dressed for work in the shack and he'll be trying to find ways to hide his extra weight. This always saddened you, as it was one of your favorite physical quirks of him. Though.. What wasn't there to love about this precious man?
"Stan? What are you doing, love?" You asked, appearing behind him as he sucked in his gut. "Trying to make myself look half presentable." He grumbled under his breath with a sigh. "I think you look perfect." You told him, moving your body behind him and gently resting your arms around him. "Don't you think people would think I look disgusting? I mean.. Just look at me. I ain't no pretty sight." Stan scanned himself in the mirror, fighting an urge to punch his own reflection.
"What on earth do you mean by that? You look brilliant and you always do. Gut and all. And who cares about other people, Stan? It's not like they'll matter to you at any point in the future. And if they can't get over how you look... Then they just aren't good people and they aren't even worth your time." You planted a gentle kiss on the base of his neck. "You're perfect just the way you, honey." You moved your hands up and gave his shoulders a reassuring squeeze. Stan couldn't help but smile slightly, turning to face you. "God, I love you. I would be so lost without ya, kid." Stan wrapped his arms around you on a tight grip, laying his head against your shoulder.
Not Being Good Enough
Stans's previous marriage had made him think twice about he treated his lovers. Over the years, you had become the most important person to him. He had no idea what you saw in him or why you loved him so much. He never felt like he was that much of anything. Not a nice person. Not a pretty sight. He never viewed himself as good enough. Yet, as soon as you were in the picture.. It seemed as if you worshipped the very ground he stood on, and be just couldn't wrap his head around that fact.
One day, Stan and you were out on an evening stroll through the park. The walk had the both of you in comfortable silence, hands intertwined together as the both of you enjoyed the scenery in front of you. Though, the silence was one thing Stan didn't always prefer. It gave him time to think and not all thoughts were good. You immediately picked up on his shift of mood. So, you stopped and took his other hand in yours. "Stan? Are you okay? What's wrong?" You question, giving his hands a gentle squeeze. He looked at you and paused. Contemplating whether to tell you or not. Though, be decided to take the honest route.
"I'm sorry, toots. You know how it gets. Sometimes, I just get too much time to think." He released one of your hands and placed a hand on your cheek, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. "I just... Still don't understand how you could love a guy like me. Don't you deserve better?" He questioned. You were taken aback for a moment. "Stan, no... you're amazing. I've never met a more amazing man than you. You're everything I ever could have asked for in life. You're so considerate and caring... It may not seem like it right off the back, but you've got a big kind heart in you, hun. I could never ask for more." You assured him.
Stan's breath hitched in his throat for a moment, then he held your hand tighter. "I am one lucky man. I can tell you that.." He smiled softly and planted a soft kiss on your forehead. You pulled him into an embrace. "Oh please, you and I both know I'm the lucky one in this situation." You smiled and gave him a kiss on each cheek. "I'm always going to be here for you, love. Forever and always. You're everything to me."

It had been a long winter day and you didn't feel like doing much of anything. Ever since the morning everything just seemed to be going wrong left and right. You woke up feeling rather sick, with a stuffy nose and a stomach ache. So, you skipped breakfast that morning and felt exhausted throughout the day. Currently, you were just pulling into your driveway after grocery shopping. You pulled in and parked the car. With a sigh, you opened the door.
Before you know it, your foot slipped from beneath you and you bashed your head against the car as you fell to the ground. You yelped and held your hood. "Ow... God damnit!" You rubbed your head as the house door opened and quick footsteps approached you. "(Y/N)! Are ya alright?" Stans's voice filled your head as the dizziness faded. "Huh? Oh, yes... Sorry, I just slipped." You responded, taking Stans hands that he had extended to you. Stan pulled you back up to your feet and immediately noticed the bags beneath your eyes.
"Good God, kid. Did you get any sleep last night?" He asked, setting his hand on the back of your head and checking to make sure that the fall didn't cause any major damage. "Sort of. I was tossing and turning a bit." You mumbled. "I just don't feel too well today." You admitted in a murmur. Stan gave a nod as he secured an arm around your waist. "Alright. You head inside and ill bring the groceries in. I'll be in in a moment." He told you, kissing your temple softly. "Are you sure? I don't mind helping." You told him. "I wasn't giving you an option, babe." He ushered you toward the shack. "Alright.." You then went inside.
You had settled in on the chair with a blanket wrapped around you. It took Stan about 15 minutes to bring in the groceries and put them away. You were about ready to drift off into sleep when you were pulled up from your place on the chair. Your eyes opened drowsily and hou were met with your lover's eyes. Stans shoulders and the top of his head had melting snow on them. It must have started snowing while he was bringing in the groceries. "How does a nice warm bath sound to you, toots?" He questioned, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. You have a light nod. "That sounds good to me."
Stan carried you into the bathroom, sitting you down on the counter while he went to retrieve you a pair of pajamas. He came back and set the clothing down, heading over and turning the water on. He ran his hand under the water till he decided it was warm enough for you. "Bubbles or no bubbles?" He asked. You hummed in thought. "Bubbles." You smiled softly, your heart warming at the thought that Stan was taking care of you. "Bubbles sound nice." You responded. Stan nodded, taking out the bubble soap and putting some of it in the water.
The both of you watched as the bubbles foamed up in the bath. Stan leaned over and turned off the water. "You ready?" He asked. You nodded and pulled your shirt up and off your head. Stan spared you his usual comments on your body because of course, he admired it, but he was far more focused on bringing your mood up and making you feel better. You slipped off the other articles of clothing, then slipped yourself into the water. The warmth immediately set in and you melted into the warmth. "Is that warm enough for you?" Stan questioned, kneeling beside the tub. "Yes, it feels perfect. Thank you."
Stan smiled at that and nodded, picking up your shampoo and squirting some into his hand. He got to work, washing your hair for you. He rubbed the liquid into your scalp and it felt surprisingly good. Despite being a rather rough man at times, he knew how to be gentle when need be. You leaned into his touch while he picked up a cup, scooping some of the water into it. "Close your eyes." He told you and you obeyed him. He poured the warm water on your head, carefully washing out all the soap and grime from your hair. Then proceeding on to help you clean yourself up.
"Here we go." He unplugged the drain from the tub and grabbed you a towel. He dried your hair off first, then wrapped the towel around your shoulders to let you dry yourself off. You dried yourself off, then standing up and snuggling into the towel for warmth. Stan looked over to you, helping you get your pajamas on. He had brought you some fluffy pants and socks, along with one of his t-shirts, which were significantly bigger than you. Although, he knew how much you loved to steal his shirts. They always felt like a light hug from him, enveloping you in his scent.
"Mmm. Thank you so much, darling. I really appreciate you taking care of me." You told him, wrapping your arms around him softly and laying your head against his chest. You felt the gentle rumble of a chuckle from his chest. He returned the motion and wrapped his arms around your waist in return. "Of course. I can just leave ya to stress out and feel bad now, can I?" He scooped you up into his arms and kissed your temple and down to your jawline. You chuckled softly under your breath, laying your head against him with a smile. Your mood had already lifted.
Stan shut the light off in the bathroom and headed into your bedroom, where he laid you down in bed on your side. You snuggled into the warmth of the sheets, feeling Stans's hands wrap around your shoulders, massaging the tensed places out. You groaned in delight. "You had yourself stressing out, didn't you, toots?" He asked, moving his hands down to the top of your back once he was content with your shoulders. "I suppose I did." You mumbled, taking the pillow and hugging it close to your chest as he massaged the knots out of your back. "This feels nice.. I really appreciate it." You whispered, burying your face against the pillow. Stan chuckled. "I'm just glad to help you, love."
Stan then laid down beside you, laying his arm over you securely. He pressed a kiss to the base of your neck, pushing your hair to the side if need be. You smiled and placed your hand over his, intertwining your fingers together as Stan kissed up your neck. "I love you so much." He told you, nuzzling his face against your shoulder. You giggle under your breath. "I love you too, Stan. So much." You turned over to face bim, peppering his cheeks in kisses. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around you tightly, gaining that big smile only you knew. "Oh, Stan.. What would I do without you?" You smile, giving him a gentle peck. "Who knows. But I'm glad you're here." Stan cupped your cheek and brought your lips to his. You melted into the kiss, holding him close to you.
When you both break apart, smiles are once again on both of your faces. You rubbed his stubbled cheek with your thumb and Stan lays his hand over yours, leaning his head into your touch. "You're my everything, Stan Pines." You whispered to him, gently tapping your forehead against his. He chuckled and pulled the blanket over the both of you. "Just like you're everything to me." He kissed your nose. "Now get some rest, sweetheart. I'll be here as long as you need me to be."

☆4 Types of Kisses☆
-•☆~~~~☆•-
Stan has a lot of different types of kisses to give you. Truly, they depend on time, situation, and place. For example, there's
Morning Kisses
Your eyes flutter open and the world comes into view as the strips of sunlight pouring through the curtains reach your skin. Behind you is none other than your loving partner, Stan Pines. His arms were wrapped around your waist securely and tightly, holding you close with your back against his chest. Once he felt you move, his eyes opened a bit. He yawned and let out a groan. "Morning, toots." He mumbled into your ear through a yawn. He then proceeded to press little short and sweet kisses along your cheek and jawline. Morning kisses were always short and sweet. Soft and loving. Of course, without a doubt, this was your favorite way to wake up.
Loving Kisses
When Stan is in a loving mood, he always makes sure to let you know. Its always in some of the weirdest times. Such as..
The Mystery Shack was closed that day, so you and Stan were having a lazy day to yourselves. Stan was in his normal home outfit, white tank top, his boxers, hold the chain, and of course his socks. While, you still hadn't brushed your hair and we're still in your pajamas, which was a tank top and fuzzy pants in (F/C). For some reason, Stans's favorite sight of you when you didn't even try to look decent. Because he always said your beauty didn't need anything to enhance it. You were beautiful just the way you were. So, on days like this, he was exceedingly loving. Especially since the two of you were alone. Stan would pull you close onto his lap, peppering your shoulders and collar in kisses. All while giving you little compliments and comments on how stunning he thought you were. This normally earned little giggles from you, which of course was one of his favorite sounds.
Playful Kisses
When Stan was in a playful mood, that's when you certainly had to brace yourself. One day, you were laying on your back in bed, with your head propped up against the backboard and your back on a pillow. Stan was laying on his stomach beside you, with his head resting on your stomach. You ran your fingers through his hair as you looked up towards the ceiling. Stan soon decided that he hadn't heard your laugh in quite some time. So reasonably, he wanted to hear it. He rolled onto you, propping himself up with an elbow on each side of you. You tilted your head, looking at Stan. Stan sent you a smile that immediately gave you the message. Stan laid his head on your shoulder, kissing all around that side of your neck. His stubble against your skin creates a sensation that you couldn't help but giggle at, Stan knew this very well. He would press these playfully rough kisses around your neck and jaw while his hands slipped under your shirt just slightly. He would brush his fingers against your sides, causing you to squirm and laugh. As, you were defiantly ticklish, and of course his goal was to make you laugh in the end.
Passionate Kisses
These moments were some of the best ones. Though, of course, it was hard to choose favorites. It was a beautiful night and you and Stan had just finished a late-night walk. The stars and the moon were shining and illuminating the Mystery Shack perfectly. These were one of the moments that drew you closer to Stan. His significantly larger hand was wrapped around yours. His eyes drifted to meet your gaze, flashing a simple but genuine smile toward you. You returned the favor and stepped forward. His free hand reached your waist, pulling you closer to him. You draped your free arm over his shoulder and laid your head against his chest. Such a beautiful feeling to listen to your lover's heartbeat under the moonlight. Stan held you close in his arms, swaying softly as you looked up to meet his gaze again. Stan brought his face closer to yours until his lips met yours. The kiss was slow and soft. It was loving and filled you with energy. The passion for it was real and you feel it in every inch of your body. Stan moved his hands and picked you up carefully as you parted to breathe. He smiled toward you and pressed his forehead against yours as he brought you inside to your shared bed.

Today was yet another hot summer day. So, what else would be better than going to the lake to cool off in the chilly water. The kids were up and getting ready for a day at the lake. While you and Stan were together in the kitchen, making up a bag of beach supplies along with snacks and water. You and Stan had been together for a couple of years now and you couldn't be happier. He was the perfect man for you. You hoped that he felt you were as perfect as you thought him to be.
You looked back down to finish up making sandwiches for later when two arms slithered their way around your waist. You squeaked and jumped, turning your head back to look at the culprit. Of course, it was none other than your lover, Stan. "Heyyyy... I was focused!" You fake pouted. Stan laughed and pressed a big kiss to your cheek, earning a giggle from you. "Sorry, sweetie. You know I can't resist you." He nuzzled his face against your neck.
The feel of his scruff on your neck made you squirm, but Stan kept a tight hold around your waist. He pressed kisses against your neck and jaw. You laughed happily and squirmed in his arms. Stan couldn't help but laugh, as your laugh was quite contagious. That was one of his favorite sounds in the world. So, he always tried to do something to get you to laugh. Whether it be attacking you with kisses all over your face or initiating a tickle war out of the blue. He was never afraid to show his affection, especially when it came to hearing you laugh.
"Grunkle Stan! (Y/N)!" Mabel called as she flew down the stairs. She skidded to a stop and looked at you both. "Are you guys ready? Do you even have your swimsuits?" Mabel questioned, puffing her cheeks and placing her hands on her hips. Stan released you from his grip and shook his head. "No, I'll get that now." Stan walked off to your and his room. You chuckled and got to finishing up the sandwiches. Mabel tilted her head and walked over beside you. "Hey (Y/N)?" She asked. You looked down at her. "Yes, honey bun?" You asked, making her eyes light up at her nickname. That look never gets old.
"I have a question for you." She nervously fiddled with her fingers. "Alright, I'm listening." You set down what you were doing and turned to face her. She smiled shyly. That was new for Mabel. At least she had never been shy toward you. She always had a love for you and she treated you like family, just as you would for her. "How do you keep such a good relationship with Grunkle Stan?" She asked. "I'm supposed to be the dating expert. Yet whenever I find a boy, they end up being insane or not being who they seem.." She whispered to you.
You chucked softly under your breath. "Trust me, Mabel. Love takes time. And what you have to do... Is be yourself.. And the right person will love you for who you are. Every little quirk. Every little thing about you." You explained. "Even when Stan and I first got together, things were a little rough. We were a little awkward at first. So, expect rough patches, as there always be some. And if they don't stay after the rough patches. Then they aren't the one. Take your time, Mabel. You're still young." You placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and she smiled. "Okay.. I'll keep that in mind." Mabel smiled brightly.
You smiled and ruffled her hair, then she ran off to make sure her brother was ready. Stan came out of the bedroom, with his swim shorts and his usual tank top on top of that. "I'll finish up packing the beach bag. You can go get your swimsuit on." Stan told you, heading over by you and placing his hands on your hips to press a kiss to your temple before you went to attend your business. You chuckled and returned the favor, kissing him on the cheek. "Okay, I'll be out in just a moment." He released you and you went to the bedroom. He watched you go and smiled to himself as the door shut behind you.

Soon, you all arrived at the lake. There were a few other families there already, but of course, you guys didn't mind all that much. You and Stan walked hand in hand, it wasn't as if anyone didn't know you both were together. You ran the Mystery Shack together as a matter of fact. You were both always together. Like peas in a pod. You were snapped out of your thought when Mabel let out a squeal. "Oh my God! Look over there!" She pointed in the direction of a boy with tan skin and luscious brown hair that fell over his shoulders.
"I have to talk to him. Here! Hold this!" Mabel took off her cover-ups and three then to you. You caught them quickly as Mabel sprinted into the water to meet the beautiful stranger. Dipper blinked and sighed. "Every time. I wonder when she'll get tired of swooning over boys." Dipper mumbled. "Don't act like you don't swoon over Wendy, Dip." You smiled. Dippers' face turned red and he tilted his head to the side to hide it. "Hey, I don't mean it as a bad thing!" You confirmed, patting his back. He chuckled slightly, though it faded as fast as it started. Stan laid out beach towels on the sand. "Come on, you both. Let's get set up." He called.
You and Dipper went over. You set Mabel's cover-ups and shoes down in a neat pile. You and Dipper both took off your shoes and you took off your coverup. Dipper went and sat In the sand with some book of his. Stan looked at you, scanning every inch of your skin. You looked at him and grinned. "Gee, Stan. Keep your eyes in the socket." You laughed, sitting down in his lap. "Oh, hush you." He booped your nose and you giggled happily. He grinned and hooked his arms around you. You laid your head against his shoulder, burying your face in the crook of his neck.
He laughed, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. "You're in a real lovey mood today, aren't ya, babe?" He smiled at you as you looked up. "Yeah, I guess you could say that." You flashed him a smile. "Mabel got my heart in a good spot today while we were in the kitchen." You said, pressing another kiss to his jaw. Stan propped you up in his lap, facing him. You wrapped your legs around his torso in response. "How so?" He questioned. "Well, she asked me for love advice." You smile, draping your arms over his shoulders. "Is that right? I never really expected her to do that." Stans's eyebrows raised in sought surprise. "I certainly didn't expect it either."
You chuckled softly under your breath. "I think she thinks we were made for each other." You said. "And? It's a fact." Stan gave you a peck on the lips. "I know! That just made me really happy!" You chirped. "Then we better keep up with what we're doing. Because we're clearly doing something right." Stan held you closer to him, then knocked you back against the towel. "Stannnnnnn!" You laughed, face flushing in embarrassment. "I'm not doing anything weird. I promise, toots. Not here."
You nodded softly as he buried his face into the crook of your neck. He pressed kisses all over your neck and jaw, earning giggles and laughs from you. You wrapped your arms around him and laid your head on top of his. He held you close to him, placing a calloused hand on your cheek and rubbing it with his thumb. You leaned into his touch with a light smile. His hand trailed down to your side, just rubbing up and down. You laughed softly and tangled your fingers in his hair. He grinned and kissed your cheek, laying to his side, and pulling you closer to him by the hip.
He laid his head in the crook of your neck and you laid your head on top of his. "Stan. I think people are watching us." You said softly. "Let them look. It's nothing they ain't seen before, sweetheart." He told you softly, bringing his hand up to your cheek, then pressing a kiss to your lips. You melted into it, laying your leg over him as his hold around your waist tightened. The kiss lasted for a good moment before you both pulled apart for air. He smiled and laid his head on the ground, keeping his hand on your cheek with his other arm around your waist. The sun was perfectly warming your skin to where a feeling of drowsiness came over you. You were just about ready to doze off when Mabel's voice aounded.
"Grunkle Stan! (Y/N)! Come into the water with us!" Mabel shouted, waving her arms to get you to see one another. You and Stan looked at each other. Stan grinned and untangled his limbs from yours. He got up, his knees popping in the process. Although that was nothing you weren't used to. He lent his hand to you and you took it. Pulling you to your feet, you kissed him on the cheek as a thank you. He chuckled, still holding your hand as he ran for the dock. You trailed behind bim, running onto the dock. Stan jumped first, still holding your hand. You squeaked, jumping next and the both of you splashed into the water.
Stan was the first one to resurface but after a moment, you popped up as well. You both looked at one another, then laughed. You hooked your arms around his neck and he held you close with a big smile on his face, a belly laugh erupting from his throat. "Guyssss!! Over here!" Mabel waved her arms and Dipper joined in on the waving, as he had gotten into the water. You and Stan grinned and swam over. And the rest of the today, you all would have the best time.. Having chicken fights, so splashing around, and racing to see who the fasted swimmer was.

Soon the sky fell dark. The moon and the stars lit up the sky and it illuminated the top of the water, which flowed delicately in its place. Stan and you sat at the edge of the dock with your legs in the water. Mabel was wrapped up in a blanket in Stans's lap. Her head laid against his shoulder as she scored softly. Dipper was back in his cover-up and laying behind you, with his head against your shoulder blade. They were both asleep.
You smiled to yourself. "I'd say today was a success." You said softly, turning your head and meeting Stans's eyes. "Yeah, I'd have to say I agree." He smiled toward you as his free arm wrapped around your shoulder. "We should do this again sometime." You said, laying your head against his shoulder. "Yeah. That sounds good. But for now, we should head back and get these kids to bed." Stan said. You nod. "Agreed." Then, you both get up, holding the children in your arms, heading back home.

You had been waiting all day for this moment. It had been a long day at the Mystery Shack. The place had been flooding with customers, just waiting to be scammed by none other than Stanley Pines, better known as Mr. Mystery. Though, that had became part of the fun for everyone in Gravity Falls. You, of course just loved the place. You started working there in the beginning of the summer, meeting Stan, Wendy, Soos, and of course Dipper and Mable. You loved them of course. They felt like family to you by now.
But there was someone who always managed to spark more feeling in you than others.
Stanley Pines.
You stood at the sink and washed your hands of all the grime you gained while working, when you felt a presence behind you. She froze and turned your head slightly. Stan was there meeting your gaze. "Oh-! God- Hey there, Stan." You greeted with a slight sigh if relief. "You really startled me there." Stan laughed at your statement. "Hey. That's what I'm here for." He winked, getting a chuckle out of you. This brought that genuine smile to his face that you always loved. Surprisingly, you were the only ones aside from Mable, and Dipper that could manage to give him that smile. The thought of that always warmed your heart.
"Okayyyy.. well, why exactly were you trying to sneak up on me? Its not like you just wanted to scare me." You urged, giving a playful smirk toward Stan. Though, he kept his little smile and looked to the side. "Well. I actually did have something to ask of you." He said. "Oh? What is it?" You tilted your head with curiosity. "Mable, Dipper and me are going to the carnival tomorrow. How about you come along?" He asked. It felt like fireworks were going off inside you. Finally. Some more time with Stan outside of work. That was always a good time.
"Of course! Sounds fun!" You chirped. "Great. See you tonight at 5." Stan grinned. You nodded. "Perfect." You swung your arms around him in a happy hug. You felt Stan stiffen at your motion. You froze and noticed how forward you could have seemed. But before you could pull away, his arms wrapped around you in return. He relaxed into the hug and laid his head against your shoulder. Your face heated up and you gave a light chuckle, just glad you hadn't upset him with your move. "Well. I'll see you then. Dont have too much fun without me." You released yourself from the hug and sent him a wink before basically flying out the door. "You dont have to tell me twice!" He shouted to you with a wave, followed by a distant chuckle.
Once you got home, you nearly melted into your bed. The amount of joy you felt was indescribable. You quickly got up. You did want to look nice.. Stan was going to be there after all. He may be old, but he certainly has standards. You went and opened up your closet, having yet another spark of joy when you saw all the photos of you and the pines family attached to your door. So, you picked out some jeans and a nice comfortable top. After a moment, you put it on and looked in the mirror. You (S/C) skin looked radiant and your (H/C) strands fell delicately. You made any more adjustments till you felt it was perfect. You shot yourself a smile. "Well, (Y/N). Here we go." You grabbed a bag and slung it over your shoulder before sprinting out the door.
After running along the sidewalk for a while, you saw the carnival out in a field. There were rides and cheesy games with prizes, along with those snack stands with all the crappy fried foods. You hadn't been to a carnival in so long.. you nearly felt like you were a kid once more. The smells and the sounds of laughter really gave you a sense of joy. Of course it would be even better as soon as- "Hey (Y/N)! (Y/N)! Over here!" There it was. Mable called your name and turned and jogged over to the group. "Hey (Y/N)! I'm so glad you could make it!" Mable gushed happily, jumping up and hugging you happily. She had become very fond of you over the summer. Dipper looked up and smiled awkwardly. "Hello (Y/N)." He greeted. You waved back to him happily, then feeling another pair of arms wrap around you from behind.
"Stan! Hi!" You chirped, not even having to look back to know it was him. You recognized that hold anywhere. "Hey there (Y/N). I see you didnt ditch us." He grinned, releasing you from his strong grip. For an oldie, he was pretty strong. And that didn't surprise you in the least. You laughed. "Of course I wouldn't ditch you! Why would I do that? You guys are my best friends." You smiled happily to the three. Earning big smiles from each of them. "Ohhhh!!! Grunkle Stan! (Y/N)! I have an ideaaaaa!" She said through a near squeal. Dipper noticed what she was talking about and immediately recoiled and looked at you and Stan. Stan and you looked at one another then back at Mabel. "What is it?" Stan questioned and you nodded as if wondering the same thing.
"You both should go on the ferris wheel together!! You know, like couples do when they get to the top, then give each other and kiss!" Mabel chirped. Both your and Stans faces erupted in a red color. "Mabel-!" You choked out, covering your mouth. "Theres no way in hell-" Stan was cut off by Mabel. "Why notttttt? Are you scareddddd?" She grinned, holding her arms between her back with a seemingly innocent smile. "Oh boy.." Dipper facepalmed and shook his head slowly. "I-" Stan gritted his teeth. "You.." he looked at you. Then back at Mabel, narrowing his eyes. "I ain't scared. I ain't scared of anything." Suddenly, Stans hand grasped yours tightly, your hand basically be engulfed by his.
Before you could protest, Stan was at the ferris wheel. "Go ahead and get in." He told you. You bit your lip and did so. Stan took a breath and got in beside you. The person working the ferris wheel lowered the bar once your seatbelts were secured. Stan still gripped your hand.. and when the ride jerked to a start, his hand tightened around yours. You winced and bit your lip, carefulling looking at Stan. He looked like he was trying to keep a calm face, but he was sweating a bit. He looked.. nervous or scared? Was he afraid of heights? You weren't sure, but you rubbed his hand softly with your thumb. He looked at you. "You okay...(Y/N)?" He asked in a tone as if he was as trying to sound tough.
"Yes... I'm fine. Are you okay though? You seem stressed.." You said softly, wrapping your free arm around him carefully. The cart rocked, causing Stan to flinch. "Hey, hey. Its okay." You said softly, rubbing his arm gently. "You don't like heights, do you?" You questioned softly. Stan looked at you cautiously, shaking his head slightly. "Alright. That's fine. It doesnt matter how tough you are. We all have fears." You reassured him. He shook his head. "No.. I'm not scared." He said. "Its okay to be vulnerable, Stan." You moved and held both of his hands in yours. "Everything's going to be okay. We're going through this together." You reassured him, holding his hands tightly. Then, the ferris wheel stopped. You looked around and that's when you noticed. You were at the top.
Stan froze in place, keeping his 'tough' face. You could sense the stress radiating off of him. "Stan.." you looked at him and cupped his cheek. He looked at you quickly, subconsciously leaning into your touch. Your cheeks warmed slightly. "I'm right here. You're safe. Just focus on me." You told him, earning a small nod from him. He leaned closer to you. "Stan?" He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him. The cart rocked slightly and Stan barely reacted this time. He seemed focused on something else. And that something was you. He leaned his forehead against yours. Your face burned a deep red. You could faintly hear Mabel cheering in the background. Stan gave you a look as if asking for permission. You thought for a second. Then have a soft nod. "As long as it's because you want to.."
Without another word, Stan's lips touched yours, and like that the world seemed to freeze. Everything froze and all you could feel was the man in front of you. You cupped both of his cheeks and closed your eyes, melting into the kiss. His scruff brushed against your skin. His hands tightened around your waist to keep you secured. You rubbed his cheek gently with your thumb. It was soft and loving.. which wasnt something you expected from Stan. You expected it to be rough almost, but not in this moment. Maybe it was the fear or the stress. All traces of tension left his body when he pulled his lips back to take a breath. His forehead rested against yours. "Everythings okay. We survived." He looked up. You both reached the bottom of the ferris wheel.
The bar lifted up and the both of you got up, gripping each others hand as you stepped forward, back to Mabel and Dipper. "OH MY GODDDDD!! I got a new scrapbook moment! Look!" Mabel held up her scrapbook, showing both you and Stan a picture of your guy's kiss. Your face reddened. But Stan merely smiled. "Nice catch, sweetie." He ruffled her hair, earning a happy giggle from her. "Anyways, you both go play around. (Y/N) and me have some fun to have." Stan looked at you a sent a wink your way, causing you to go more red than before. Mabel nodded and grabbed Dippers arm, running off and soon theh dissapeared into the crowd. You looked back at Stan. He grinned at you and pressed a kiss to your cheek. You couldnt help but smile. "So.. does this mean?" You questioned shyly. Stan wrapped his arm around your shoulder. "Take it as you will, toots." He pressed another kiss to your temple. You giggled and laid your head against him. Today was a good day..
