most wanted characters?

do you have to write a para sample for the app?
No sample is needed! We’re pretty much appless here, unless you’re creating an OC in which case we need a bit of a biography. We take roleplays of all experiences here, and unless it becomes an issue or members wish this to change then we won’t be adding in a para sample section.
However, if two people apply for the same character then we will request a short para sample to help us decide whose application will be accepted. This shouldn’t be a problem for the next few days as, to help us boost our numbers, I’ll likely be accepting applications on the spot. Afterwards, applications will be accepted after a day.
will this group be setting tasks for members?
I’m hoping to introduce tasks, yes. They won’t be mandatory, but I do think tasks can be a great way for players to get to know their character better - and it helps other members see where you are coming from too!
The first task won’t be up for a little while, just so people are settled in. I’m considering having the task as a mini-questionnaire about the character, or perhaps a moodboard? I have a few ideas, but we’ll see nearer the time!

would you accept oc villains? what type of villains are you after?
Yes! I’d love to have some villains here, OC or Canon - though I don’t have many biographies up yet for villains.
Any villains from the comics or MCU are welcome (within reason - having Galactus around may be kind of strange). As for OCs, they could be children of heroes or villains that are out for power or destruction. They could be human or mutant. They may be HYDRA spies that have infiltrated the Academy with no one knowing.
It’s really up to you. I hope to get some new biographies out soon, if there’s anything in particular you want to see then let me know. I’m not sure what biographies should come out next!
can connections be changed?
All aspects of the biographies, apart from family members, can be changed. If you feel a connection isn’t right, we can discuss it. Maybe the connection can be changed (from friend to enemy or vice versa), or the person the character is connected too. If we already have a member who plays a character connected to the one you want, we’ll have a talk with them too - and you can as well, and we can sort things out where possible.
Relationships are not set in stone. If a connection says your character is going out with someone, that can be changed. Connections are there to help you into the group, and give your character a fleshed out background.
