The three figures represent Catelyn throughout certain stages in her life. The one on the left represents Catelyn as she was; Matriach to the Stark house. Family, duty, honour.The one on the right is Catelyn after she looses Ned. “I want to weep, she thought. I want to be comforted. I’m so tired of being strong. I want to be foolish and frightened for once. Just for a small while, that’s all … a day … an hour.”The center one is Catelyn after she looses everything, and becomes the dreaded Lady Stoneheart. “And… she rose. May the Lord of Light protect us. She rose. “ Inspired a lot by James Jean’s work (particularly his Fables stuff).
