It's rare but sometimes when Devsis releases an event they'll make a limited edition costume. This costume came from the Desert Raid Mission event back in 2023.
Two other examples (that I know of) are Squid Ink Cookie (From the Tropical Raid Mission event, again from 2023) and Milky Way Cookie (4th year anniversary event)
So basically these are like Special costumes. Except if you don't manage to get the costume it won't show up on the costume list. And while apparently Special costume sets rerun, these don't. So if you didn't get it during the event there's no way to get it.
There's a few interesting details about next update's title card that I wanna point out.
The first is that, unlike the other Awakened Ancient updates, White lily's awakened form doesn't replace Silent Salt in the title card.
In every other Awakened Ancient title card, the Ancient's Awakened form takes the exact spot their Beast had in the last update, and with the exception of Golden Cheese (and now White Lily) this completely removes the current Beast from the title card.
The Calm Kala Namak knight's on this, which confirms that they will in fact be next update's Epic cookie.
And one last thing that might seem small but I feel is very important is that if you look closely, Silent Salt''s image in this Update card's different to last month's.
In this update, Silent Salt's holding his head down, but in the next one, he's holding his head up high. With his design being more illuminated by the moon than it was before. I also think that the moon itself is shining a bit brighter than before? Not 100% sure of that though.
Does this mean anything? Maybe.
Oh and the lily flowers closest to Silent Salt have the tips of their petals turn black.
Awakened White Lily reveal let's go! (plus a bit of an analysis and theory at the end)
She looks absolutely beautiful omg. I didn't expect that her awakened form would give her angel wings, since she is the current Guardian/Ruler of the Faerie Kingdom and has Elder Faerie's powers. Plus her two legendary costumes have butterfly themes.
It seems that White Lily is also gonna absorb bits of her Beasts' design/theme into her design like the other Ancients did. The most obvious thing in the fact that she's now wearing armor.
But another thing is the fact that if you look closely at the flag/banner attached to her staff, there's the Symbol of Silent Salt's pre corrupted soul jam. (AKA the symbol of the knights of Kala Namak)
And if you look at the crown, it seems like there's a tiny ornament that looks like White Lily's soul jam but upside down.
Plus in the final shot, you can see other Kala Namak flags (you have to look closely to see the emblem though) and it looks like White Lily's standing in front of the full moon.
Other than White Lily's awakening, we see the return of one of the last Episode's NPC's. Specifically the Calm Kala Namak Knight.
They look quite a bit different than what they used to, but it does looks an awful lot like them. An Undead or Ghost version perhaps? I wonder if that means the Calm Kala Namak Knight could be this month's Epic.
If that's the case, I wonder what role this cookie'll have in the story. Based on the line we've got, and their former role as Master of the Trials, it's possible that they will be the one to judge White Lily.
And we finally get to see White Lily and Silent Salt interacting, along with an idea of what the conflict between these two is going to be. Simply put, Silent Salt blames White Lily for Dark Enchantress' actions.
He sees her as corrupted, just like he and the other Virtues were, he finds her unworthy of the power he willingly gave away and it looks like he plans to seal her alongside the Beasts (and likely also himself).
Now then, a theory of what could happen.
The fact that the snippet of Awakened White Lily we get has all those Kala Namak flags, along with her having the Kala Namak emblem on her own flag, could imply that she has the aid of the spirits of the knights. And that the knights as a whole will play a role in the next episode.
In that case, I wonder if White Lily's gonna attempt to free Silent Salt from his guilt and resentment.
The Kala Namak knights adored Silent Salt Cookie prior to their death, so I find it hard to think that they'll aid White Lily if it means harming or even sealing Silent Salt back into the Silver Tree. The Knights were cookies Silent Salt helped and gave a home to and up until the end, the knights had nothing but respect for the Salt of Solidarity.
Plus with White Lily's 'All deserve a chance for Freedom' speech, I think she'll try to extend that to Silent Salt. Remind him of his dream to give the Cookies freedom and possibly also free him.
This would also be a fitting way to end episode 12.
Episode 8 had Pure Vanilla offering friendship to Shadow Milk, and while Shadow milk did refuse it's pretty obvious that he wanted to accept.
Meanwhile Episode 10 had Hollyberry suggest that once Eternal Sugar snaps out of her sloth, and the two of them can become two halves of a whole. With Hollyberry promising to come back for her one day should she be willing to change. (although Eternal Sugar kinda took it the wrong way)
So it would be fitting for White Lily to offer Silent Salt a chance at freedom. Whether he'll accept or not is up for debate, depends on how Episode 12 goes, but it's possible.
If that does happen though, it could open up the possibility of the rest of the Beasts getting redeemed in the future. Most likely after the Dark Enchantress storyline's over. (Which is apparently gonna be sooner rather than later).
Realized that I've only been posting CRK content for the past few months, so here's a drawing of the Kieranpon AU but with a twist.
The twist being that Florian/Juliana (Juliana in this case) is secretly Pecharunt in disguise, but neither Kieran or Juliana know of the other's secret identity when they first meet. So they both end up befriending one another and the story goes more or less the same as it does in canon until partway through Teal Mask.
Of course, things get pretty awkward once they both realize the truth. And by that I mean Juliana's cooked if Kieran finds out that the first proper friend he's made in centuries is actually one of the very Pokemon that ruined his life.
So turns out that Silent Salt and Elder Faerie are NOT the same cookie.
However, we did get Doomed Yaoi between these two and quite frankly one of the most reasonable crash outs I have ever seen a character have so I can't really complain.
His knights were killed, betrayed by the very cookies they wanted to protect. Which led to Silent Salt silencing every last enemy to his land and corrupting.
And if that wasn't already horrible enough, he came to realize that was caused by the other corrupted Beasts. That while Silent Salt was trying to help everyone, his fellow Virtues took everything he cared for.
No wonder he snapped after finding that out.
(And btw, Ray Chase's performance, especially after Silent Salt found out that the other Beasts corrupted and caused his knight's deaths, was perfect. Dude really knocked it out of the park. You could hear the anger and pain in Silent Salt's voice when he and Elder Faerie were performing the ritual)
But also Silent Salt asking Elder Faerie to kill him because he knew he no longer held the virtue of solidarity and didn't want to hurt anyone... this poor guy just wanted to help others...
He even has a lot of similarities to White Lily, all other Beast-Ancient pairs do but these two take it to the next level.
Especially because they both were revealed to have betrayed the rest of their groups. White Lily by (somewhat) becoming Dark Enchantress and causing the dark Flour war, while Silent Salt sealed the Beasts and himself away in the Silver Tree.
Not just that, but in both cases, the truth was hidden by someone. In White Lily's case, it was Pure Vanilla. While for Silent Salt it's Elder Faerie who kept the secret.
And based on the new interactions we've got for the Beasts, it seems that not even they know that Silent Salt was the one to seal them away.
Except maybe Shadow milk. There's implications that he might know. Specifically episode 8's ending CG and how badly he lashed out when PV offered friendship. (Despite the fact it's HEAVILY implied that Shadow Milk wanted to accept)
Plus I've said this before but I do think that even if Shadow Milk knew, he'd act like he didn't. Shadow Milk's a liar, he lies to everyone, himself included if he doesn't find something favorable. So I can imagine he'd lie to himself and act like Silent Salt DIDN'T betray them, but instead it was the witches who sealed them away.
Or if Shadow Milk knew it's possible that he didn't say anything because in all honestly the other Beasts likely wouldn't believe him unless there was proof.
With this episode out and the reveal of Elder Faerie's friendship with Silent Salt, I think this explains why he cared for White Lily so much. As not only did she inherit half of Silent Salt's soul jam but, as I said, these two are similar. This would also explain why White Lily felt like Elder Faerie could understand her.
Though I kinda wonder, is it possible that part of the reason Elder Faerie revived White Lily and gave her his powers, was so that if Silent salt was freed he'd have someone who could understand him in ways no one, not even Elder Faerie himself, could?
Or that, in the slim chance that the Beasts could be saved from their corruption, Silent Salt and White Lily would both have someone who'd understand completely.
It could explain why the Guardian's power caused everyone to see glimpses into the past.
And another twist was that the Silver Tree wasn't initially meant to be the Beasts' prison. But instead it was meant to create new virtues (ie. The Ancients) using the soul jams of the Beasts.
It only became their prison, because Silent Salt asked Elder Faerie to perform the ritual after finding out that all the other Beasts had corrupted.
And in the specific case of the Beast binding ritual, Silent Salt willingly sacrificed himself by having Elder Faerie channel his magic through him, which caused him to be sealed along with the others.
I wonder how episode 12's gonna go down other than us getting Awakened White Lily. For example, how different is Silent Salt now compared to what we've seen in the Flashbacks? How much did eons trapped in the same place with four cookies he now hates affect him?
What will White Lily and Silent Salt's dynamic be? Considering the fact that these two don't officially meet until the very end of the episode we don't know for sure how they're gonna react.
I think I'll make a separate post on that later, as there's a lot of potential factors that could influence how Silent Salt feels about White Lily based on what we know about the both of them.
Another thing I wonder is if the Abandoned Cookie NPC could play a role in the next episode. Considering the fact that this kid was the only one who didn't give the other Beasts' minions information that would lead to the Order's death. This child also looks a lot like Charcoal cookie, so maybe they're related somehow?
Still, since Silent Salt feels like the cookies he protected betrayed him, the Abandoned Cookie NPC could be used to prove that wasn't entirely the case. That there were cookies who didn't betray him.
I also think it's interesting that the former Virtue of Solidarity now hates the other Beasts. But at the same time, his interactions with the other Beasts are pretty... civil? The biggest hint we've got that Silent Salt still bares a grudge is that in his and MF's Kingdom convo he thinks 'Abominable Beast' but outside of that? Nothing much.
It almost feels like Silent Salt's hiding what he truly feels around them. Maybe so that they don't catch on to the fact he was the one to seal them. Kinda like how Elder Faerie spun a completely different narrative about what happened. Painting Silent Salt as a villain when in reality he saved everyone.
But in any case, I guess this is why the November Update's has an event called Return of the four Beasts, not five. Silent Salt does not want to be associated with them.
Oh, and one last thing.
Congratulations Silent Salt Cookie, you have officially become my favorite Beast (I say as I remove Shadow Milk's statue and put Silent Salt in it's place). Meaning that the next time we get a x3 chance event for the Gacha of Fate I WILL be spending all 400 of my fateful cookie cutters on you and White Lily.
Since the next update's gonna come out in a few hours, I figured I'd make one last post about Silent Salt before he officially comes out. (Mainly because I've wanted to talk about the livestream but never did)
To start, Silent Salt and Elder Faerie are have a very high chance of being connected in some way. One of the trailers shows a clip with these two on both sides of the Silver Tree, plus based on the most recent trailer a part of White Lily's reason for going to the Land of Silence is to learn about the Guardian's powers and why Elder Faerie gave it to her.
Not just that, but with yesterday's trailer it seems that Elder Faerie giving his powers to White Lily could be a parallel to Silent Salt's Order giving him their strength and vitality.
Along with the fact that all of Elder Faerie's knights end up looking the same, while Silent Salt's knights also all look the exact same to one another even before corruption, is a little suspicious.
(Oh and I'm not sure if this could mean anything but these two do share an element. Elder Faerie is steel while Silent Salt is dark and steel)
Now whether this connection could be that they are two halves of the same cookie, that Elder Faerie was formerly a follower of Silent Salt's, that their connection is simply tied to the Silver tree or maybe, as some people seem to theorize, that these two could be brothers, is hard to say. But it does seem like these two are connected somehow and while dead, Elder Faerie may have some role to play in the next two episodes.
On another note, it also seems like the theory that Silent Salt helped seal the Beasts might be true. As mentioned, there's a clip with him and Elder Faerie on both sides of the tree, but also in the snippet of Silent Salt's Gacha animation, we see the tree again, with Silent Salt's soul jam in the roots.
With that in mind, there's a high chance that Silent Salt had something to do with the Silver Tree. And considering Silent Salt's relationship with the Beasts is strained, this could indicate that he might have been somewhat responsible for their and his imprisonment.
There's also a lot of implications that Silent Salt will be a tragic character. One of the quotes we've heard from him is 'The Burden of Mourning will be mine and mine alone', and his art project video describes him as someone who will 'Silence the world marred with Betrayal'. Hinting that he might have been betrayed by someone.
The countdown answers tied to Silent Salt also seem to paint a sad picture. Implying how much he cared for the Beasts prior to their corruptions. One of the prompts also suggests that he made a mistake that caused permanent scars, but unlike White Lily who is trying to set things right, Silent Salt accepted what he can't fix it.
And the letter you get in the last BY countdown if you have more black statues says this:
For you, life is filled with cruelty and contradictions no force can resolve. Still, you persist, leading a never ending battle against the entire world. And you will make sure that tyranny and oppression are silenced forever.
It is time to descend into the Depths of the Land of Silence and witness Silent Salt Cookie's cold wrath.
Considering you need more Black statues than white to get this letter, and the fact that the black statue answers seem to be tied to Silent Salt, this letter is representing him. Especially since the letter you get should you have more white statues does seem to represent White Lily pretty well.
Though I am curious about the letter saying 'you will make sure tyranny and oppression are silenced forever' in the context of Silent Salt.
I also wonder why Silent Salt's knights gave their strength and vitality to him. For what purpose would Silent Salt need that? He had a complete soul jam by then, so he was most definitely strong enough to defeat any danger on his own.
The best idea I have is that he needed the power to take down something as strong or even stronger than him. So maybe this was done to fight the Beasts or maybe the Witches?
I know we'll find all this out in the next two episodes, but I'm really curious.
On a final note, did anyone else notice that in the "Very well. Let's go together. Down below we shall find the answers we seek..." trailer, when we see the Knights of Kala Namak their chest plates and shields have the light of solidarity symbol in the upright position. But if you look at their banners, it's upside down?
The same is also seen in the snippet of these knights in the Silence of Conviction trailer. Which I find very interesting when you consider the fact that Silent Salt has something very similar. The soul jam on his chest plate is upside down, while whatever is on his sword is upright.
I wonder if that's gonna mean something.
With that, Wishing everyone good luck on Silent Salt's banner. May you get him as soon as possible.
There’s so much going on in this decoration but there’s literally a heart…and it can’t be Hollyberry’s cuz there’s no golden cheese or dark cacao’s very clear anywhere…the bluebird in the heart of the trunk…guys they’re so in love 💕💕💕
FYI, this isn't really me trying to disprove PureLilly. I may not be the biggest fan of that ship but I have accepted that if Devsis has to pick one ship to make canon it'll either be them or MintCocoa.
I just don't get why people are saying it's just PV and WL when the other three are right there.
The first prompt is: A long journey lies ahead. Now, you find yourself at a crossroads. Which path do you choose?
And here's the answers:
A. Your Beliefs
B. Your Duty
C. Your Goals
If you pick 'Beliefs', the flavor text that pops up is '...' . If you pick 'Duty', the flavor text is 'The Fork's glint is cold'. And if you pick 'Goals' the flavor text is 'You sense a familiar floral scent'.
Picking 'Beliefs' also changes one of the seven statues' colors from grey to black. Not sure about the other two but based on the trailer, 'Duty' should turn it into a another shade of grey while picking 'Goals' will turn it white.
And this might not mean anything, but I've noticed that the specific statue that changes colors seems to be random.
While not 100% confirmed, it does seem like these choices are tied to either White Lily and Silent Salt. With the answer that gives the 'Floral Scent' text being tied to White Lily (as well... she's named after a flower), with the ellipsis text most likely being for Silent Salt, considering he's the Beast of Silence and all.
White Lily spent the majority of her life driven by her goal to understand the truth about cookies. So maybe this could indicate that Silent Salt is someone driven by his beliefs? It could make sense considering judgement may be a key factor for Silent Salt and his story.
That leaves the third flavor text 'The Fork's glint is cold'. My initial guess when the trailer came out was that this option here was either a neutral option or a secret third character. It could still be a neutral option but if it's meant to represent another character, then this character would be driven by duty.
Which... okay, sounds like Elder Faerie. He was someone who was heavily driven by his duty to the point it was more or less his entire identity. He protected the Silver Tree even when he himself knew that it'd lead to his death.
Hell, his entire kingdom is implied to have been made for the sole purpose of protecting the Silver tree (as one of his quotes mention that it's thanks to the witches that he has his duty and kingdom).
Plus he's currently the only cookie who is confirmed to have helped seal the Beasts in some way. Along with the fact that the Beasts were sealed with forks with the Faerie Kingdom being one of the few places with fork imagery.
If that's the case, then this could confirm that Elder Faerie may play some sort of role in the next two episodes of Beast Yeast. And if the 'Fork glint, option's are supposed to represent him then maybe he's of a similar importance to White Lily and Silent Salt (Potential hint that EF and SS might be the same cookie or at the very least connected in some way?)
Granted, this is just speculation. This is the first day of the event after all, we have six more prompts to go. Whatever options are tied to the Fork flavor text in those could either imply or deny the possibility that some of these choices represent Elder Faerie.
I have seen no one bring this update but this event seems to be choice based.Whatever choice you choose will effect the knights on the table and you get letter return depending on what choice you choose.
From the looks of it, it seems like the choices could be what White Lily and Silent Salt would choose/chose in those situations. Along with a third option that's either a neutral/unrelated response or a secret third character's choices. We'll figure it out eventually.
Considering the first knight statue turned black right after a '...' text appeared, I think that the knight'll turn black when you pick what Silent Salt did/would do in that scenario.
Alternatively, the statue that turned white did so after the text 'A strong floral scent wafts through the air'. So it's likely that if you get a white statue that means you picked what White Lily did/would do.
So via process of elimination, the statue should turn grey when you pick the third option.
With the 'Your Mistake has left permanent scars on everyone' prompt. The choice to accept that there's no turning back is likely linked to Silent Salt, the choice to try to find a way to fix things is White Lily's, and the confused option's the unknown one.
As for the letter, this is what it says based on Google Translate:
You know that the world cannot be clearly divided into right and wrong. Or perhaps you feel you lack necessary evidence and time to make a decision. Therefore, you've decided not to judge at the moment.
Now, you walk towards a land of silence. There, where countless values and opinions collide, you may find the certainty that has kept you from making decisions.
Considering the white lily stamp on top, this letter's likely about White Lily.
Based on the contents, this could be her reason for going to the Land of Silence. Each Ancient made their way to Beast-Yeast/their Beasts' land for different reasons after all.
It seems like White Lily might be indecisive about something. Along with her deciding not to judge something/someone at the moment.
The only thing I can think of is that this is about the Beasts and whether or not they'll be sealed again. DC and GC both seem like they'd want to reseal the Beasts, while PV and HB both extended an olive branch to their Beasts. Meaning that whatever she decides will determine the Beasts' fates.
We also know that SM was considering accepting PV's offer to be friends, along with the Sheep's clothing cake hound hinting that he does in fact want to be friends. (and might also be in love based on the Korean description)
Though if that's the case I wonder why she'd be indecisive when she was initially determined to stop the Beasts, even if it ruined her. Does something happen at the start of episode 11 that makes her question things or did something happen to prompt that.
And while I think we should wait until the official translation's out, the fact that the letter states that the Land of Silence is a place where 'countless values and opinions collide' sounds interesting.
You know after reading your theory,it struck me with possible parallel between the two.We all know based on the concept art that silent salt was originally going to have much stronger ant theming.
And we do certain species of ants and butterflies do have a give and take relationship but thats not what I want to focus on.
It suddenly hit me the possible symbolism between the two. Elder faerie is a butterfly, butterflies being known to be colorful and unique meanwhile ants don't stand out from each other, if one goes another will take its place.I kinda find sad even if the SS is EF theory is wrong, Elder faerie being a butterfly is extremely ironic in this case since he still adopts this type of thinking for the sake of cookie kind.
(Apologies for not replying to this until now)
Another interesting thing about Elder Faerie being a Butterfly while Silent Salt at one point was going to be based on an Ant is that some ants have wings.
Specifically, a queen ant that's hasn't mated yet and fertile male ants. Queen ants rip their wings out after mating while the males just straight up die.
These wings aren't colorful like a butterfly, as they mainly serve a specific purpose (the Nuptial Flight) and are then discarded once that purpose is done.
The concept art heavily implies that Silent Salt was initially planned to be female, but at some point during production was gender swapped. So due to his status as a former Virtue now Beast and the fact that he should have minions, he was most likely supposed to be a Queen Ant.
Meaning that, at least in the concepts, it's possible that Silent Salt could have had wings at one point. Maybe prior to corruption? Kinda like how Burning Spice, while he was still the Herald of Change, had two extra sets of arms.
But also, the thing with the insect themed concept is that you can still see bits and pieces of it in the Beasts.
Mystic Flour was based on a cocoon, and there's still plenty of cocoon imagery with her
Burning Spice was a centipede and like I said, he had extra sets of arms prior to corrupting
Eternal Sugar was a moth, and her legendary costume replaces her angel wings with butterfly/moth wings
So if Silent Salt still has any aspects of his concept art, it could be that he had wings. And it could also imply the possibility that some of Silent Salt's minions (both NPC and playable) could have Ant-like wings.
Which, if that does happen, could lead to an interesting scenario. Imagine the Silver Knights mistaking Silent Salt's minions for fellow Faerie Cookies.
if Silent Salt did used to have wings, and there really is a connection between him and Elder Faerie, then it could be a tragic link between them AND White Lily.
Because while Silent Salt lost his wings, Elder Faerie kept his, and White Lily eventually gains her own pair.
And while butterflies are colorful and tend to stand out, and in some ways that's true for the Faerie Cookies, but also not really if that makes any sense?
Cookies from the Faerie kingdom aren't really that colorful. Silverbell has a pale blue color scheme, Mercurial Knight is greys and silvers, and while Sugarfly does have a vibrant color scheme, it's hard to say how much of is her actual colors or how much changed thanks to Eternal Sugar.
Sugarfly herself mentioned that her wings used to be dull and colorless, and since they are attached to her head, it's possible that her hair was also the same.
In fact, Only the NPCs who aren't knights have some variety of color, but mainly in their hair.
And you said that ants don't stand out and can be replaced if one goes, but isn't that more or less the same for the Silver Knights? Outside of Silverbell, Mercurial Knight and Sugarfly, the Silver Knights end up looking the exact same due to being Blessed by Silver. So if something happens to one knight, another can take it's place.
Which does kinda give the Faerie cookies an ant vibe. Hell ants are one of the few species to make a sort of graveyard and we know that the Silver Tree Knights have a memorial room to honor the dead Knights.
Heh, imagine if, depending on the connection between Elder Faerie and Silent Salt, there's a plot twist revealing that the Faerie Cookies are actually ants.
... That last part was just a joke btw I don't think that'll happen. Would be interesting if it did though.
You know I'm glad White Lily and Silent Salt's story's coming out in less than a month, because this recent update's made me all the more confused about White Lily's predicament.
First we thought that White Lily was fully turned into Dark Enchantress Cookie when she fell in the dough. Then Beast Yeast started and we found out that she was actually split into two cookies.
And now with the most recent event, there seems to be a possibility that she's ALSO a part of the Avatar of Destiny as the Resentful Spirit. (not only does it mention freedom and her realization of witches eating cookies, but the voice sounds like her too)
Doesn't help that one of her Kingdom quotes hints at the possibility that she might not actually be the real White Lily.
At this point White Lily Cookie better have THE crash out of the fucking millennia. She 100% deserves it after everything she's gone through. Give her a crash out so bad that instead of Silent Salt getting a creepy sprite like all the other Beasts, she does.
Oh there is definitely something shifty with Silent Salt's soul jam(s?). Not only does the placement constantly change, but also the color.
Like if you look closely at the sprite, the soul jam on his torso has a TEENY bit of what I think is a silver-y color on the bottom right corner, and if you look at the one on his sword there's a blue-ish purple highlight.
Meanwhile in all other official art we've gotten of Silent Salt (minus concepts), when the soul jam's on his sword it's almost always white or silver, and when it's on his torso it's almost always purple.
Though if Silent Salt does potentially have two soul jams, I wonder if they both represent Silence or if just one does. And if it's the latter, what could the other soul jam represent? Either way, I can definitely imagine this being a potential plot point for the next two Beast Yeast episodes.
Plus, considering all the inconsistencies, I kinda wonder if Silent Salt's story sprites could change his soul jam color on both torso and sword. Like the colors swap or become more prominent at random intervals or depending on his mood.
Based on the marking on that cookies' forehead, I think it's this cookie here. AKA the cookie that fell in the rift, if you look closely you'll see same fork-like mark.
Which... might be Doughael, but could also be someone else entirely.
Talking about The Silent Salt and Elder Faerie could be the same cookie theory:
Note that when I'm talking about this theory, I mean in the context of Silent Salt and Elder Faerie being split in two like White Lily and Dark Enchantress. As that's the only way this theory would make sense. (considering that well... Elder Faerie's currently dead)
Also as a quick warning there are spoilers.
Similarities in backstory between Beasts and Ancients:
The thing about Beasts and Ancients that people have noticed, is the fact that each Beast-Ancient pair seems to share some similarities in they're backstory, or some similar traits (prior to corrupting).
Golden Cheese and Burning Spice are the most obvious, as both they're backstories involve losing Kingdoms. The main difference between the two of them was how they handled the situation and the fact that Burning Spice was trapped in an endless cycle of watching/hearing about civilizations rise and fall.
So there's a good chance that Silent Salt's character could share an element or two from White Lily. WL's an interesting character so here's a few things Silent Salt could get:
Having a goal that he would stop at nothing to complete (such as White Lily's quest to find out why cookies were made/wanting to create the perfect cookie)
Willingly or unwillingly betraying those closes to him (like how Dark Enchantress Cookie attacked her former friends' kingdoms, causing both direct and indirect suffering to the Ancients)
Finding out the truth that shattered his beliefs (like how WL found out about the Witches eating cookies)
Guilt over something that he either intentionally did or had no control over (such as White Lily's guilt over Dark Enchantress' actions)
Being Split into two cookies (no need to explain this one)
Similarities with Elder Faerie:
For Silent Salt and Elder Faerie, the two of them actually have quite a few things in common. We don't have an official Silent Salt face reveal (likely won't get one until his update at the earliest, White Lily's at the latest), but there's still some things the two of them share based on the silhouette we've gotten of Silent Salt.
Here's a few similarities I can think of:
Knight theme
Ponytail
Both have a similar looking armor, not exactly the same, but still.
Based on the Silhouette, it looks like Like the sword where Silent Salt's soul jam used to be now has a hole/indentation of it. Meanwhile Elder Faerie's sword handle looks like a large hole
Silent Salt wears a cape, while the way Elder Faerie has his wings most of the time makes it look like he's also wearing a cape
And sure, these two aren't the only knight themed cookies, so they're similarities could be more based on the fact that they're knights rather than actual things they have in common. But it's still a weird coincidence.
Especially when all other factions and leaders in Beast Yeast have similar, yet also completely different themes. (aka they're all based on certain religions/mythologies but they're all based on different religions/mythologies).
Shadow Milk is based on Christianity, Mystic Flour is based on Guanyin/Buddism, Burning Spice is based on Hinduism/Shaivism and Eternal Sugar is based on Greek Mythology.
We don't know exactly what Silent Salt will be themed after, but the most likely one is Arthurian Legends. As Silent Salt's a knight and Arthurian Legends are centered around knights (King Arthur and his Knights of the Roundtable). But the interesting thing about this is that Fairies appear in these stories. (mainly depends on the iteration though)
I wonder which character from these stories will Silent Salt bare the most similarities to. Based on what I know about Arthurian Legends, he'll likely represent either King Arthur, Lancelot or Mordred.
Elder Faerie has a Silver color scheme. Which makes sense seeing as he is the guardian of the Silver Tree and His entire Kingdom has a Silver color scheme.
Again, we don't know what Silent Salt looks like under the armor, but I think we have an idea of what his color scheme could be. Because it seems to be heavily implied that Silent Salt's pre corrupted Soul Jam was, in fact, Silver.
Most Ancients and every Beast have their color scheme be either similar or closely matching their soul jam. There's two exceptions. Pure Vanilla who the majority of his color scheme contrasts his soul jam, and Burning Spice whose soul jam used to be orange prior to corruption. (though as the Herald he had more yellows to balance it out)
The Beasts take it a step further, as even their dough color is similar to their soul jam. With that in mind, I don't think it'd be too farfetched to think that under all that armor Silent Salt's color scheme could be or at least used to be Silver. (Maybe a Silver-y Purple?)
Which I already mentioned feels like it could hint to a possible connection to Silent Salt and the Faerie Kingdom, just because of how much Silver there is, along with the fact that the Faerie Kingdom is full of knights.
Because the fact that Silent Salt is a knight that at least used to have strong ties with the color silver, while the Kingdom that helped keep the Beasts sealed is full of knights and has a silver color scheme doesn't really feel like a coincidence.
Of course Elder Faerie's dough color doesn't match. His dough is a dark purple-ish. However if we assume that Silent Salt and Elder Faerie might have split the same/similar way to White Lily and Dark Enchantress this could still work. As Dark Enchantress Cookie's dough color is a different color than White Lily's, along with a slightly different eye color.
There's also the fact that Elder Faerie's a Defense cookie, and while we won't know Silent Salt's weapon type until right before his update, I think there's a decent chance that Silent Salt could also be Defense.
To start, Silent Salt is clearly meant to be a knight. Most knight cookies in this game are either Defense or Charge. Burning Spice is already charge so I don't see them giving us two Beasts of the same weapon type.
Mystic Flour's rear, both Shadow Milk and Eternal Sugar are middle and right now Burning Spice is the only Beast who prioritizes the Front. So via process of elimination, Silent Salt will either be front or rear. Usually, cookies that prioritize the Front are either Charge or Defense. There's other weapon types in the front but these two are the most common to see.
So there's two possibilities for what weapon type Silent Salt could be. One is Defense, which would be fitting considering he used to represent Solidarity. But another idea is that he could be Ambush, which would fit his new title as the Beast of Silence. (Plus we haven't got a high rarity Ambush type since Black Pearl Cookie)
And I've mentioned this before, but I do think that the Silver Kingdom has strong ties with Solidarity as a whole.
Mainly because of the whole 'Blessed by Silver' thing Mercurial Knight describes. Where a Silver Knight can trade away their unique flavor, scent and apparently also their memories (as stated in Mercurial knight's story) to gain the power to protect the tree.
And it goes beyond that, as he also stated that overtime all Silver Tree knights who get blessed by Silver end up looking the exact same.
Considering the meaning of the word Solidarity, this feels like an extreme version of sorts. To give up your individuality for the sake of serving a common cause.
Something else I want to add, so it recently got revealed that CRK's doing a collab with a company called Shinhan Card, which I'm assuming is a credit card company? Since this collab is releasing two cards, one with all the Ancients and one with all the Beasts.
So we finally have a proper Silent Salt design.
Granted, until we get the reveal I wouldn't say that this is the official design just yet. Seeing as Silent Salt looks like he's still in the same pose he is in his silhouette (just flipped). It's not like this design reveals anything we don't know yet. We still don't know what's under the armor.
Still might be worth talking about.
For example, there's not really much purple in Silent Salt's armor outside of the soul jam and the purple highlights. Instead it's varying colors of grey/Silver. With the inside of Silent Salt's cape and the ends of his hair being a lighter silver.
Then in the background you can see multiple moons. What looks to be a large moon behind him, and a bunch of smaller moons with different phases. (which I think will be a part of his mural, looking at both cards, each Ancient and Beast has a part of their mural behind them.)
It was hinted in the Beast trailer that Silent Salt might have had some moon themes, as he's seen splitting the moon in half. But I think this makes it a lot more obvious.
And I do feel like this is important for the theory, Because Elder Faerie himself has strong moon themes to him.
The color silver can be associated with the moon. And a lot of CG's during the Faerie kingdom arc are depicted during the night. Even Elder Faerie's Gacha background shows the night sky.
(Plus White Lily's legendary costume, based on the form she gains when using the powers Elder Faerie passed onto her, is titled 'Moonflower Faerie')
We also have his magic glyph from the concept art, which might be outdated but still. If you look at the two butterflies, it looks like the one facing upright has a crescent moon (though it moon looks to be on it's side), while the butterfly facing downward seems to have a star. (I think it's a star?)
But a more recent example could be this CG from the end of Episode 10.
Here, we see Elder Faerie with a sort of silvery halo behind him which resembles the moon.
Could this be a stretch? Maybe, but figured I'd mention it JUST in case this turns out to actually mean something in the next two episodes.
(But still, OF ALL WAYS A LONG AWAITED CHARACTER'S DESIGN COULD BE REVEALED. BRO GOT THE CREDIT CARD ROUTE?????)
Elder Faerie's bond with White Lily:
Then there's Elder Faerie's relationship with White Lily. It's a bit of a trend that the Beasts have a strange attachment with their respective Ancient. Some more subtle with it, some REALLY obvious. And with each new Beast-Ancient story, this attachment seems to grow stronger. (Although I don't really know how Silent Salt can even begin to top Eternal Sugar)
And while never confirmed, it does seem like there's a strong bond between Elder Faerie and White Lily. Some examples to this is how Elder Faerie, much like Pure Vanilla, is shown with a White Lily flower. Like in the title screen for the White Lily update, and also in one of his idle animations.
Elder Faerie's skill, Guardian's Valor, actively prioritizes White Lily. If she's not in the team, his skill will give a prism shard to two cookies with the highest attack. But if she is on the team then the cookie with the highest attack will still get a prism shard, but White Lily will get two shards.
And while Elder Faerie's not the only cookie who's skill prioritizes a specific cookie, he's the only cookie who's skill just prioritizes White Lily. Unlike Silverbell and Mercurial Knight who when in the same team have a secondary skill that boosts themselves, Elder Faerie and White Lily.
There's also this CG from Theater of Lies.
Elder Faerie (or well, his ghost as he IS dead as this point) is lifting White lily's chin to look at him in the eyes. This action is media is often seen as an intimate gesture. It's not the ONLY meaning of this gesture, but it's definitely a common one.
Also each Beast has been shown to either lift their Ancient's chin or grab something around that area to make their Ancient look at them. Most shown in game, but Eternal Sugar's was shown in a trailer. We've got an image for the next two eps which looks like Silent Salt's lifting White Lily's chin with his sword, so he seems to be following the trend.
This image also kinda parallels the Theater of Lies CG in some ways. Such as, the position of White Lily and Silent Salt in the image is the opposite to the Theater of Lies CG. Silent Salt is standing above her in this image, though it's hard to tell if White Lily's on her knees or if Silent Salt's just standing on something. And the Backgrounds are contrasting colors to one another, the CG has a light blue background, while the Silent Salt image has a red one..
(Granted the Silent Salt image seems to be unfinished and could be prone to change before his update's out)
And in this promotional image of Elder Faerie (as a ghost again) seemingly giving her a flower crown/wreath. (His hair and wings also look a tad purple-ish in this though doubt that means anything)
I know that flowers have different meanings to them. but outside of the lily flowers idk what the other ones are meant to be. So if there's anyone with actual flower knowledge could you let me know? Please?
Flower crowns have a lot of different symbolism. Such as victory and divine favor, or how it's Christianity they can be seen as the resurrection of Christ. But flower crowns, especially in modern times, usually represent love.
It's possible that Elder Faerie giving White Lily that flower crown could be seen as resurrection, as he was the one who brought her back to life. But I won't leave out the possibility of it also being a symbol of love.
This here might be a small thing, but in one of White Lily's Moonflower Faerie Defeat quotes, she calls out to Elder Faerie cookie.
And I think that Devsis themselves want to hint to a connection between these two. As they have matching profile pictures.
For context these pfps were available around the release of the first two BY episodes (can't remember when exactly but maybe the second ep when Elder Faerie was released), if you bought those in-game packages. So their no longer available to purchase.
I'm F2P, so I don't have them. (And I likely wouldn't have used them anyways, my pfp's been Donald Duck Cookie pretty much since I got him and I'm not planning on changing that anytime soon)
Not just that but, based on what the Wiki says, to get White lily's pfp, you had to buy Elder Faerie's pass master hot deal package, meanwhile there's another Elder Faerie pfp that you could only get if you purchased White lily's hot deal package.
Which I kinda remember people talking about that before Elder Faerie was confirmed playable, as they thought that the only way we would have gotten an Elder Faerie pfp was if they bought that package.
(I'm not 100% sure of the validity of this though, as looking at the other master pass pfps, the icons match that specific characters' pass. (aka Mystic Flour's pass has a Mystic Flour pfp, Dark Cacao pfp's in his pass and so on) so it feels kinda odd that these two are apparently the only ones who do the opposite. Still adding this in just in case)
Usually, when people have matching profile pictures it means that they are close. (Not inherently romantic though, depends on the relationship between the characters in these pictures) So by making these images Devsis could be implying that the two of them used to be close to one another prior to everything.
Each cookie is seen with something that represents the other. in Elder Faerie's picture, he's holding a white lily flower. While White Lily is seen with a butterfly with similar wings to Elder Faerie.
That same butterfly also appears in her Lobby. Cookies with unique lobbies tend to have something in there that's important to them. For example, Hollyberry's pre awakened lobby having pictures of her family, or how Pure Vanilla's pre awakened lobby has lilies.
So the butterfly could represent Elder Faerie being important to her. And in many ways he is. As he was the one who revived her, along with giving her the powers of the Guardian.
Though I kinda think that the character relationship chart we got for the Faerie Kingdom Cookies also has a potential hint, specifically White Lily's thoughts on Elder Faerie.
She says that she feels like Elder Faerie understands her. And the reason I'm pointing this out is because recently the word 'Understand' has become important in the Beast-Yeast Story line.
When Pure Vanilla beats Shadow Milk and makes his offer to be his friend, PV says that he's the only one who can understand SM. The last Battle stage of Episode 8 is even called 'the one who understands' (and apparently it's called 'the only one who understands' in the Korean version)
Then during episode 10, sometime near the end (can't remember when exactly but it was after Hollyberry got her awakened form), Eternal Sugar tells Hollyberry that no one else on Earthbread can understand her like she can.
The fact that we've gotten that word not once but twice during this story line, but in different arcs and said by different characters (but still from a Beast/Ancient), implies that this isn't just a coincidence. That it might actually mean something.
In some ways, both Pure Vanilla and Eternal Sugar are right. As the Beast-Ancient pairs are soulmates. Like, in the literal sense. They each wield one half of the Beasts' original soul jam. The special Gacha specific to them is called 'Gacha of Fate' and the description of the cutters and tickets for this Gacha mentions that they're used for Cookies that are bound by fate.
Awakened Ancients also gain some of their Beast's features. Even their lobbies have similarities to they're Beasts'. Such as Pure Vanilla's awakened lobby being nearly identical to Shadow Milk's, just with inverted colors and how when fully upgraded the pillars of PV's lobby resemble keys while SM's lobby gains locks.
Plus, like I said, the Beasts and Ancients seem to share backstory elements/character traits. I don't think it'd be too difficult for the Beasts and Ancients to see the similarities between one another if they were given the chance to.
So the fact that White Lily says that Elder Faerie understands her could hint to a connection between him and Silent Salt. It also seems like with each new arc, the starring Ancient gains a bit more of an understanding of their Beast. Which in that case, it's possible that White Lily is going to understand her Beast the most.
Counterpoint:
A potential counterpoint to this theory, could be Sugarfly's recounting of when the Silver Tree was first planted at the end of episode 10. Because she mentions someone who based on the description could have been Silent Salt, talking to Elder Faerie.
Since if that was Silent Salt, then the odds that their the same cookie lower.
But a counterargument to it is that Sugarfly seems to be recounting a story. She doesn't mention who this cookie is, which I feel would be important considering said guest had a hand in sealing the Beasts away.
Wouldn't that be important information for Hollyberry to know in case Eternal Sugar doesn't change her ways or if the rest of the Ancients decide resealing the Beasts would be the best option. (Which is a 50/50 right now. Dark Cacao and Golden Cheese seem like they'll most likely want to reseal or kill the beasts, while Pure Vanilla and Hollyberry both seem willing to give a second chance. White Lilly's gonna be the tie breaker once her story's over)
Though I feel like the best counterargument stems from Elder faerie's description.
Somewhere in Beast-Yeast, hidden behind a shimmering veil, stands the Faerie Kingdom—a kingdom that began with but one Cookie. Elder Faerie Cookie has walked this Earthbread for eons, standing at the very core of countless cycles of birth and destruction that have shaped this world. Only hushed whispers of his origins are passed down as legends. His sole purpose is to contain the ancient and malevolent forces that threaten to escape at any moment. His will and power are imbued within the seal—a vital source of life for the Silver Tree to grow. Little do Cookies know that the age of peace and prosperity they enjoy is owed to Elder Faerie Cookie's tireless effort. But the stern monarch's adamant will remains unbothered, for it has been ages since he embraced the stoic path of the Guardian of the Seal.
There's a lot of interesting things in his description that could imply that what Sugarfly said might not have been 100% accurate.
For example, the fact that the description mentions that 'Only hushed whispers of his origins are passed down as legends.'. Legends are stories that while perceived to be true, there's no proper evidence to guarantee that. And the fact that his origins are only described in 'hushed whispers' could hint to the idea that Elder Faerie wasn't keen on talking about his past to others, including his subjects.
Elder Faerie is a secretive cookie, one of his quotes: 'Not all secrets should be brought to life' implies that. While this quote could be about White Lily and what happened to her after she found out the truth of Witches eating cookies, it could also be because he himself has secrets that he doesn't want revealed. Especially since it's implied that Elder Faerie knows more than he lets on.
So I think that it's possible what Sugarfly recounted is in fact one of Legends, and thus she herself might not know the full details of that event.
While Faerie Cookies do live longer than regular cookies, we don't know just how long they can live. Elder Faerie's a strange case as he's implied to be immortal. There's a difference between a longer lifespan and eons. So it's possible that Sugarfly wasn't around when the Beasts were sealed.
There's also other ways that Elder Faerie's true backstory could be unknown to his subjects. For example, if being blessed by Silver does in fact wipe a cookie's memories like Mercurial Knight's description says, what are the odds that the first few silver knights knew of Elder Faerie's origins, but willingly forgot?
Or considering the faerie kingdom started with one (Elder faerie) and his quote stating that it's thanks to the Witches than he got his role as guardian and his kingdom. Is it possible that Elder Faerie didn't have subjects until after the Beasts were sealed and he got his role as guardian?
We know that Elder Faerie was likely alive before the beasts were sealed away, that he may have led another life before he became the Guardian of the Silver tree. But we never learn what it was.
Conclusion:
While we will have to wait until Silent Salt's out to know for sure if this theory is true or not, and I'm not personally 100% sold on this theory, this is still one of my favorite CRK theories. I think it'd be interesting to find out that Elder Faerie, the late ruler of the Silver Kingdom, was connected to the Beasts in more ways than we think.
It would give Elder Faerie more lore, explain why he of all cookies was chosen to become the Guardian and also why he's so adamant of protecting the tree. Why, if there was a time prior to becoming the guardian, he decided to base his entire life around keeping the world safe from the Beasts.
This could also make things interesting for the Beasts' side of the story. Imagine the Beasts realizing that one of the own, the former virtue of SOLIDARITY, turned out to have also been the cookie that kept them in the tree.
Silent Salt seems like he's gonna start out as a masked character. (We'll likely get a face reveal during Episode 11 as we should get the Beast raid event during Episode 11's release and that should give us icings matching Silent Salt's design, with his eyes and mouth being the reward for completing the icing set). Typically, when a character is masked, there's a reason.
Either their face is badly scarred, or they're secretly beautiful. Or that their hiding a plot twist of sorts. (For example, Fortune Teller Cookie. His face was hidden for most of episode 7 and then it was revealed it he was Pure Vanilla/Truthless Recluse)
Sometimes, a character's face is purposely hidden for no particular reason but usually in that case the character's face never gets revealed. So I feel like scarred or secret plot twist are the reasons why Silent Salt's face is hidden.
Based on the most recent interview, Silent Salt's supposedly gonna have an unique backstory compared to the other Beasts. There's already hints here and there that Silent Salt will be unique, but this could mean that the theory that Silent Salt helped seal the beasts or that he and Elder Faerie were once the same are a little more possible.
And I definitely feel like the next two episodes will reveal who helped seal the Beasts away, considering episode 8 ended with PV mentioning he saw SM's memories and noticed someone, while in episode 10 SF mentions someone who talked to EF which led to the tree being planted. By that logic, episode 11/12 will likely be when we find out who that cookie is/was.
Plus, could you imagine how this theory could affect the next two episodes of Beast Yeast? How such a plot twist could effect not only White Lily, but the Silver Kingdom as a whole?
The Silver Knights dedicated their whole lives to protect the Silver Tree, willingly sacrificing their individuality to better fight. All for the sake of making sure the evil that was trapped in the Silver Tree never escapes.
And in all that, Elder Faerie was their leader, the Guardian. To find out that the Faeries of the Silver Kingdom were unknowingly following the very cookie they swore to keep the world safe from could break them, make them question their purpose and shake their solidarity.
And what of White Lily? A character who feels regret for the horrible deeds her other self caused while she was in a coma. A character who, Elder Faerie not only gave a second chance to, but also gave a new purpose as the Guardian.
How would she feel, knowing that Elder Faerie truly understood her in ways that no other cookie could even begin to imagine, not ever her closest friends.
But now that he's gone, all that's left is the Beast of Silence. Would she try to look for traces of Elder Faerie in him? Or would she see it as a lost cause?
Granted, if this theory is true, then I'm hoping that Silent Salt's different enough from Elder Faerie to be considered his own character rather than Elder Faerie 2: Electric Boogaloo.
And even if this theory isn't true, I still think that these two are connected somehow. If not the same, what if Elder Faerie was a former follower of Silent Salt? Silent Salt WAS the Virtue of Solidarity after all, so he most definitely had subjects prior to corrupting, likely knights considering his design.
What if, seeing his leader corrupting, Elder Faerie tried to find a way to stop him? Or if the theory that Silent Salt helped seal the Beasts, is true, what if Elder Faerie was asked to stop the Beasts at any costs?
That would explain a lot of things. He'd keep his past a secret, because why would people want to help Elder Faerie protect the tree, if he was once a follower of Silent Salt's? This would also explain why his kingdom has a Silver theme to it, along with why Elder Faerie had such as strong bond with White Lily.
I do think that It's possible that Elder Faerie could make a reappearance in the next two Episodes. Either in flashbacks or as a ghost since apparently some keywords for Silent Salt's update were leaked and Ghosts was upon that list, and Elder Faerie's currently the only main story cookie who died and wasn't brought back somehow. Plus I do think that ghosts/spirits will play a role the next two episodes.(Based on some concept art involving Silent Salt/his storyline)
And if the idea that Silent Salt and Elder Faerie are connected is true, can you imagine the potential costumes we could get based off that?
Like in the inevitable Beast-Ancient costume set that we should get late October/early November, what if Silent Salt's costume has traces of Elder Faerie in it? Like instead of a cape he has wings, a light silver color scheme and if his mask is off, we see Elder Faerie's face.
Or maybe a possible costume set with Silent Salt and Elder Faerie. If these two are the same, then maybe they wear the same outfits to match that, or even swap outfits with key changes? And if Elder Faerie was a former follower of Silent Salt's, maybe costume set based on a time prior to the Beasts getting sealed away?
Either way, would be cool.
Overall, I'm mostly just hoping that Elder Faerie gets some kind of role next arc. This dude has some hidden lore to him and I want to know WHAT.
With the release of the new update, it seems confirmed that the Beasts do in fact have a different costume order compared to other cookies.
For context, the order for every other cookie is a follows:
Awakened form, if a cookie has one
Base form
All costumes organized both by rarity (Legendary, Epic, Special, Rare, Common) and date of release
Meanwhile, All three Beasts that got costumes have their legendary skins first, THEN their base.
Does this mean anything... maybe? I think it could hint to the possibility of the Beasts getting upgraded forms in the future.
Apparently, from what I've heard, Devsis initially wanted to make Awakened Ancients a separate cookie from the actual ancients (So we would have gotten two DCs, PVs, HBs and so on), but decided against it after some backlash.
So if Devsis ever decides to give the Beasts upgraded forms, then having their base form not be the first thing to appear on the list could be a hint that their planning on that.
Or maybe it's just me, I'd make sense for the Beasts to have upgraded forms, especially considering just how many things they share with the ancients. (Which, duh)
Mystic Flour looks absolutely stunning, her design changes to give her dark and cold colors, specifically black and purple, but also a bit of blue. As for Dark Cacao, who also looks amazing, his gains lighter and warmer colors. White, gold and red.
Still Mystic Flour's dress seems to be mostly white, and she still has a bit of gold in her design. While Dark Cacao's outfit is still mostly black and he does still have traces of purple.
It seems like the colors of their designs are based on the sky when it turns to dusk. Aka the moment between day and night. With Mystic Flour taking in the darker/night colors, while Dark Cacao takes the lighter/day colors.
Or at the very least, Mystic Flour's night while Dark Cacao's dusk, to possibly symbolize that Dark Cacao's falling to Apathy but hasn't fully yet? That a glimmer of his old self still remains?
And based on the dialogue, it seems like these costumes are also a 'What if the Beast won' scenario like Eternal Sugar and Hollyberry. Or maybe an AU where something destroyed Dark Cacao's kingdom (which maybe it was Mystic Flour's doing or maybe not), as the animation we got shows Dark Cacao kneeling around rubble in his kingdom.
Also, if you look closely at Mystic Flour, it looks like she has tears in her eyes. Though she also has a lot of water droplets in her design so it may be water on her face rather than tears.
Though if it is tears, then I wonder why she's crying.
I'm glad that we got a costume set for Mystic Flour and Dark Cacao. With 3/4 of the currently available Beast Ancient pairs getting matching costumes, there's no doubt that this means that we get a set for Burning Spice and Golden Cheese one day.
Once this set's out, I think I want to try analyzing all Beast-Ancient costume sets. Mostly to see if there's a pattern in the stories that could help us figure out what BS-GC and SS-WL's costumes'll be.
Plus I kinda want to know if Mystic Flour's costume order will be different. I've noticed that both Shadow Milk and Eternal Sugar's costumes are ordered differently. Instead of their base form being first, it's their costume. Their currently the only two who have their costume list in that order so if Mystic Flour has the same, then maybe the Beasts have their own unique costume order?
I wanted to change up my art a little and decided to try drawing mainly using the flat marker brush. And since I'm on a bit of a Silent Salt theory spree, I figured I'd draw how I think he might have looked during the Beast trailer.
Hence why it looks like he has two soul jams. I based this on how he looked in the LITERAL split second clip of him being sealed.
