There was a time when I knew who you were and what you meant to me but one day things started to change and it broke me completely, Should of seen it coming cause you were becoming more distant but somehow I gave you the benefit of doubt believing you would never hurt me,
How stupid was I to think that our love could keep us going only difference was my love wasn’t reciprocated the way I wanted it to be, You had me wandering where it went all wrong was it my fault? Did I do something wrong? Yet the only mistake I made was put my heart on my sleeve because when you broke it in to pieces I had to mend it back up,
So forgive me when you ask for another chance because the girl that you thought would continue to fall apart is learning to grow and love herself more than ever before, Because right now I am on a journey with my Almighty God who reminds me daily that I am always loved!
So even when I feel like I'm not good enough I flip the pages of scripture to find passages of healing remind me to cast all my anxiety on him because he simply cares for me.
