Verispire (noun)

A shapeshifting vampire, one that isn't contained to the "standard" forms of vampires, but can morph and change their body at will.

This was meant in mind with the idea that most vampires are restricted to forms like bat, wolf and sometimes rodent forms, but versipires are not.

The prefix, versi-, comes from the Latin word for shapeshifting, “versipellis”.

This was coined by @ill-either-live-or-die-alone (hope you don't mind the mention) for mx-werebat / me.

This is not a xenogender, but is a nonhuman label.
