Huevember Day 6

Day 5 is complete. Not nearly as intricate as yesterday (I had so much less time). I really want the bird he’s holding to be a diff color but i didn’t know what would go well with the orange so I left it white. The mask didn’t turn out to be as brilliant as planned (but then again I didn’t have time to conceptualize effects and what not).

This is definately so unfinished (there’s like, no shading). I could pick this one back up later after November’s over.

Hornbill man wants to know if you’d like a drink and some company. He doesn’t mind if you decline. Her certainly minds if you accept.

I went. Very detail heavy on this one. I have no clue what it was about the cross hatching whateverthehell you call it. But Im super happy. I love the colors. I love him. He’s super cool. Its a piece that actually looks quite lovely (which is always a surprise in and of itself).

Just an old, wise fox who has imprisoned an unfathomable power. With it and its incredible knowledge he’s asked the universe about his mortality. As it turns out, if you listen closely enough to the world you’ll find all the answer echo back to you. The things you may find, though, you might want to forget.

I had some residual ideas left over from my day 1 painting. Many things on this one didn’t turn out as planned. It’ll probably take me quite a while to accurately portray these weird themes the way I want to….

This one is incredibly unfinished as well, but thats okay. Im like 90% sure I wanted to do so many things with this piece that I ended up doing none of them,

Day 2! I sat down with the intention of drawing a yellow circle with a face on it because todays been a weird low energy day. And then this happened. Im doing my best to at least try. Telling myself that a yellow circle with a face on it is an okay final product really helped.

Decided to impulsively start Huevember. I don’t expect to do all days, but I do want to try. Even if its incomplete pieces like this one. I need practice transforming concepts into pieces and then actually detailing said pieces.
