I'm actually kind of surprised this was only back in 2018. This was my first Hato digital piece, I definitely drew some fan art but in like sketch books and stuff back home I don't currently have access to
Here's the latest thing I posted (for hato) and something I never actually posted for various reasons but suits the comparison considering its both Hiyoko and Nageki. Ahhh I've been in Genshin hell for so long all my good recent stuff is for that, but I should definitely draw more Hatoful again (though def will work on my zine fic first pfft). On actual analysis of my art, I think its less a style change and more a confidence thing, wow those lines were a shaking mess in that first one haha. Also I know how to shade now and use light sources sort of. And obviously a much better understanding of anatomy, though uh still not my strongest suit.
Also I draw Hiyoko much more muscular, like she deserves (though tbh this pic is not the best example). That arm in my old art is a crime for how thin it is haha. Also across the board my design for her has much more messy/poufy hair which is fun.
Also I won't post it because its much to embarrassing but now I want to when I go home for the summer find my old Hato fic I wrote and die inside
