Entry for @glowweek day 1!

I'm a huge fan of raves and EDM, so when i saw the prompt "Glow" i couldn't help but think of the amazing glowing from blacklight, UV paint, and of course the glow bracelets that are at these shows!

I took inspiration from the scene of Steven and Connie dancing at Sour Cream's party in the episode "Alone Together" and also some colors from clips of various Porter Robinson Dj sets.

i know this blog's been dead for a long time but i'm popping in with a hot take. actually just a nitpick.

so i've seen this same sentiment used to argue why steven x gem ships are bad over the years:

no shade to the op of this post since i do agree with them, but i think saying a gem is thousands of years old is totally irrelevant. if the gems (an immortal alien race) being thousands of (earth) years old were the problem, then rose being with greg wouldn't be seen as okay either. the REAL problem is that the gems, while not adhering to human biology, are ADULTS by human standards throughout their entire existence. even on their "birth" days having just emerged, they're still portrayed as adults. and a fully-developed adult being "born yesterday" still wouldn't be okay to pair with a minor. this is why i think using the "they're thousands of years old" argument doesn't really cut it.
