I've not said anything on any of my bigger pages yet, bc I don't wanna hype the crowd up too much on something that's still kinda up in the air

BUT. Found an affordable apartment, I've been waiting for the last 2 weeks for the property manager to go and clean it out and get it ready, but things are moving! 🙏

The apartment is smaller than my last one, which, less cleaning- and it's like 1 unit apart from my grandmother which will be fun (she's almost 80, so it'd be nice to see her more often while I still can, since she's my last living grandparent OTL)

BUT generally? Good things, hoping nothing falls through but I don't see that happening tbh- just keeping hopes and morale high in the meantime! 🙏

looking for apartments makes me SO irritated -- like are people just expected to never have pets?? Why is literally every fucking place near me "No pets! No cats!" Every town, every city, even in different states its always the same song and dance and I hate it

Currently going back to the basics, doing anatomy studies, trying new shading techniques and playing with color-- very slowly but surely OTL I do not like where Im at currently in my art journey and I wish to push myself harder 🙏 Been doing my best to curate artwork that has the "look" I want to achieve for reference purposes and mmmm... it's a process

Going mental bc Ive had SUCH a hard time lately with my home life, money, and constantly rescheduling my medical appointments bc I lack said money-- then I notice someone keyed my car </3

I dont talk to anyone so I have no beef, I do my best to park in the lines?? my best guess is someone drunkenly mistook my car for someone else's and decided "i hate this person, im gonna key their shit" ( theres a lot of cars that are my exact make + model + year in my town, and I work at a bar / hotel )

or alternatively, and probably most likely, it was just a random act of vandalism. Either at work, or when I go to the grocery store. God forbid you leave your car unattended, I guess.

Now I get to decide if I want to put a sticker over it or just cope with the giant gash in my passenger side door

Initially I thought maybe someone hit my car with their door or something, because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt- like who would randomly key my car! Must have been a mistake? But when you look at it, its very clear someone deliberately did that by hand with something metal, likely their own car key. I want to believe there's good in people, because there is!! But god damn do the shit people in this world make me so unbelievably angry afgSDFD
