Finally I decide to post my art.
FF1
Now after completing FF2, I have finally played every main title of FF on the gba (1-6). Each of these games is a classic, and each story is unique. It was also interesting to see how every game’s story line became progressively more complex, with each title. - starckshark
January 2016 Update
Currently, I am designing an archival website and catalogue for a late artist and past professor of mine. The final site should be running by the end of this month, and the catalogue on the web/printed in the next few weeks. Along with the tribute show, the catalogue will be seen around several universities in the US.
Midway through this month, I finished a self-initiated branding project. It will either be featured on my website, or on this blog in the near future. My most recent project was designing a team poster for a corporation, as well as some of their mascot icons (which I love and it hurts, not being able to show them).
After graduation and moving back to the Greater Seattle Area, I am looking forward to connecting with other designers and illustrators. If you would like to chat, don’t hesitate to send me a message. :)

Just a quick illustration of a jedi lightsaber. Feeling inspired to do other ones as well.

My Current Experience with WIX (A Review)
Firstly, this is a personal review of the site WIX, from someone who owns a domain through them. This is not a complete review of the entire site, since I do not use the store, video, music, or blog features on my website. Rather, it is a review based on personal experience, intended to inform potential WIX users. I also am not comparing WIX to any other domain site, like Squarespace, since I do not own a website through them.
I would like to start off by saying I really enjoy WIX. I bought my domain from them around a year ago, and have had no problems navigating the site. Everything is easy to find, and the UX is clean and to the point. As both a web designer and developer, the developer side of me was disappointed when I found out I could not edit the HTML and CSS. Surprisingly I ended up not minding as much as I thought I would, since I was able to successfully edit my site almost exactly the way I wanted to... Almost. The website edit lacks a few elements which I think are crucial to building a powerful site.
Getting more into specifics, one issue the WIX editor has is with its popup/expanded image options, or lack thereof. When clicking on any image in the selected gallery, there is the option to either have it open in a popup, open in another link, or do nothing. There is no other option besides those three or to edit the popup itself. WIX used to have a border around image popups, which contained the image and description text. Currently they have taken away the border, which results with my text getting lost in the background. It would be nice if there were a few potential options to blur or darken the background, change the side of the popup, as well as a border/no border. Other comments online which other WIX users wrote, express their desire for popup editing options as well. It would be pretty awesome if WIX could work on that feature.
Another feature that WIX would do well to expand upon is the option to re-size images in a gallery. Similar to the popup feature, there are only two options to change its size in the gallery, within the area it is contained: autocrop and fit. It would be much more satisfying, if the user could “transform” and move the image around the area manually, instead of the given automatic sizing alternatives.
Many of WIX’s site layout options are very flexible and can be easily customized to what the user wants (or so I have found). WIX also has several gallery options that I personally find enjoyable.
Overall, WIX is easy to navigate with good controls. It would be a very good choice to make a website through them, if you are not familiar with HTML/CSS or any sort of web development. They provide good layout and navigation options as well. When it comes to editing specific elements (like popups), they do not always provide enough freedom or means to customize.

Not the best picture, but I at least finished my booklet, Unheard Voices of Seattle. I have wanted to compile this booklet for a long time. I am currently considering having it professionally printed as a 7x7 photo book.
Some super quick dinosaur/monster illustrations.
