I tried writing some ff, be honest should I keep going? Ik there are typos sue me.
Context: This is amangela from an outside POV (Ty) who is going to have his own storyline (maybe with either Tommy or Chanse, we shall see). He's the newest Smosh cast member, and instantly clocks Angela's not-so-subtle crush.
“Alright Everyone!! Listen up!” Ian got the room's attention to focus on him up front. I sat quietly in my chair; fidgeting. The second I knew that the company had chosen me as the new cast member, I couldn’t wait for my first day. Now, my long-awaited first day at Smosh is finally here, and I was buzzing. I had never been more excited for anything ever in my life. I watched intently as Ian spoke: “This is Tyler Finnley, our newest cast member! Give him a nice round of applause!” I wave to everyone, the cast on the left, the crew on the right, and the production team square in the middle. Everyone cheers back happily. “So, why don;t you introduce yourself to everyone Ty?”
“Okay, um,” I stand up out of my chair and smooth down my shirt, unsure of what to say. “Hi everyone? My name is Tyler Finnley, but you can call me Ty. I’m 26, He/They pronouns, Trans guy, and a raging Bisexual!” Everyone chuckles and I take it as my sign to continue. “I’m super happy to be here, ready to get to work, and I’m super excited to get to know everyone!” I wave my hands and sit back down as people give their last whoops and cheers for me. The meeting goes on; Production goes over the schedule, crew gives us some new lighting updates, and design tells us to come in for a quick costume fitting later in the day. I get told by the sound guys to quote, unquote, “GET YOUR MIC FITTED!!” Firm, I like it. As Ian closes out the meeting, he waves me and someone else over. As I weave through the crowd, I see that Angela Giarratana was the other person pulled out of the group by our boss. We reach Ian and he introduces us to each other:
“Alrighty you two, Angela, Ty. Ty, Angela.” We turn to each other and simultaneously say
“Hey!” We smile as we turn back to Ian, who is now addressing Angela.
“Okay, Angela, I want you to help get Ty integrated into this place.” Angela has her hand on her chin, listening attentively. “I want you guys to exchange numbers, get to know each other, and spend the day together. Basically, become besties okay?” We both nod and look at each other.
“Perfect, thanks Ian!!” Says Angela as Ian grabs his stuff and heads out the door. We watch him exit before we turn back to each other and Angela speaks: “So,” she starts, “Tyler?” I grimace. “Ty?”
“Preferably.” I reply, relaxing my shoulders and looking back at her shyly.
“Of course!” She says enthusiastically. We start our way out of the room as Angela gives me the rundown of how everything works; from shooting schedules to art requests. I listen, but I have to admit that I’m also staring at her. She’s pretty, like realllllllyyy pretty. Her brown eyes draw me in, and her lips look quite kissable at the moment not gonna l-
What the hell am I doing? I just met this lady today and I’m already fawning over her like she hung the moon! God, I’m going to lose this job before I even do a video. Clearly, I must’ve been thinking pretty loudly because Angela’s voice breaks through my spiraling thoughts.
“You alright there Ty?” She asks, a puzzled look on her face. I shake my head slightly, clearing my mind.
“Yep!” All good! Feeling good!” I reply, overenthusiastically. I look down at my feet, cringing at myself for acting like a motivational poster. When I look back up from my shoes, it’s Angela’s turn to be distracted. I track her eyes and turn to look behind me. There, I see Tommy and Amanda cackling about something. Tommy, who is the half of the pair that can see us, taps Amanda on the shoulder and they both wave at us with bright smiles. I wave back then turn back to see that my tour guide has gotten to be a decent shade of baby pink. She still has the look of a lost puppy on her face, mouth slightly agape, as she stares at the other side of the room. I furrow my brow in confusion, wondering what has her in this state. I throw another look over my shoulder, before a mischievous grin spreads across my face as a realization dawns on me. I go back to looking in front of me, the grin still plastered across my mouth. I see Angela compose herself, tucking a piece of stray hair behind her ear and looking up at me.
“Should we keep going?” She gulps down air, clearly a little out of it. I grin knowingly at her as I gesture forward.
