this is probably really late to say, but i’m going to take a break from rping for a while until i’m a lot more confident i can approach new people. i already have a hard time asking people i already know, and i just feel awkward whenever i want to talk about my ocs with them. hopefully this will give me sometime to finalize my ideas for my ocs and make a better rp blog.

“Wait, that’s Red? So he’s not a Fera like me? Then in that case, step off my dad, fox!” Clarke gave a glare at the fox.
Red wrapped his tail around Beth’s leg before rubbing his head to her leg as beth smiled moving down a bit till he was able to climb on her shoulder and wrap his tail loosely around her neck
Clarke looked at Red with a scowl. “Cheeky prick.” Clarke then focused her attention on Beth again. “Must be a huge pain taking care of him when he’s human.”
“Okay, now you’re starting to sound like an old Colonel my boss knows. Always saying, everything he does is for the good of his people. But in this situation, I can kinda see how that would make sense. Speaking of starving to death, how much farther is it to land?”
Perb nodded slowly to herself, and looked around before looking back to her map
“ Well, we still have around two or three days until we hit the first port, but even then it’s on an island, not the mainland. That’s probably five days of sailing without stopping, which we have to do if we want to eat at some point. Ah-, that does remind me, I suppose we could take a break and find something to eat. Should still have some fruit in the cabin…maybe. “
“Excuse me, ‘maybe’? What do you mean by maybe?” Quill dropped her mop as she looked panicked and distressed just from the mere mention of the lack of food.

Clarke held out her hand to shake Beth’s, trying to keep her father’s instinct to herself. “Hey, I’m Clarke Montoya. You probably know my dad, Donivan, right?”
“Yes I do. Hes a great guy to talk to and helped me very much. Also I am near him whenever Red gets flirty… Since I dont want Red ruining Donivan and Vincent’s marriage ”

“I wouldn’t be bitching and complaining if SOMEONE would just ease off the harshness of their tone. You think constantly throwing those dumb pet insults will make me want to do these chores any more than I already do?!” Quill got up and stood over Perb.
Perb squinted, Unintimidated despite the difference in their size “ You best tone back that attitude before you regret it. If you could earn a lick of respect from me, maybe I’d treat you like you deserve it, but you sit there and whine, so until you can do yer job properly without complaining, I will continue to treat you as the annoyance you are. Do you know how many maps, star charts, ship passages, spice logs, and other paperwork I have to look over before I sail? You have no idea how much effort it takes to do what I do! ” she began to raise her voice, an anger bubbling inside her “ And you dare complain about what I have you do!? I have to do it every day, if every week, of every month! Alone, no one to do the paperwork for me! No one to complain too, no one to even talk too! JUST ME! So don’t you bitch to me about work! ” she pointed a small, rather sharp nailed finger up to her face
Quill looked at Perb’s pointy finger, then back to her eyes. She tried to think of a statement to counter with, but instead stormed off, grabbing the mop and bucket and heading to the deck. She could be heard mumbling things to herself. “First Donivan suggested we split up, then I thought using that boat to sail to another island would be a good idea, and then I get caught up in this crap and lose my rifle.”
Perb let off a little smile, finally she could get to her morning. She went about getting changed into her signature coat, and equipped her weaponry. Once she felt everything was in order, perb walked out unto the deck to spot quill, keeping busy with a mop. She slowly stalked across the deck towards the helm, giving a quick glance toward quill before taking the wheel.
Quill angrily scrubbed the deck, still cursing Perb under her breath. She looked around the deck for more spots to clean, trying to humor Perb about how ‘dirty’ her ship was but instead began to notice just how empty the place was. “Hey, Perb. Do you really just sail this whole ship by yourself?”
“ Yeah, have been for nearly a year and a half now, I set up a pulley system to raise and Lower the sails by myself as well. ” she slowly turned the wheel , causing the ship to lightly rock to the side “
Quill stumbled a bit, but kept on her feet. “And you just stay by yourself? You never even considered having a crew?”
“ Well, of course I’ve considered it, but not many people want to join up with me. I suppose it’s because I’m a woman, and the horns don’t help. Not many sailors take me seriously. ” she gripped the wheel tightly “ But they’ll see just how dangerous I really am.. ”
“Yeah, what are you going to do? Make them clean the barnacles from under your ship? Actually in your case, that’s actually kind of terrifying to think of.” Quill states as she continued to swab.

Perb awoke with a start, the sounds of light aves crashing softly against the hull of the ship. Sunlight streamed into the small cabin from a porthole built into the back of the room. The girl let out a yawn, slowly crawling from the rather hard mattress. As she glanced down, she noticed another figure asleep on the floor, the creature she’d found cast in the salty brine. Perb sighed, and lightly placed a bare foot on their side, shaking them firmly “ Oi, animal, wake up. We have duties to attend too. ”
Quill grump and groaned as she turned away from where Perb was talking. Her movement was not very subtle, looking very on-purpose rather than if she were in a sleepy daze.
“No, Cable. Just… give me another… three hours.”
Perb lifted an eyebrow, kicking with a significant amount of force into the others ribs “ I didn’t ask for lip, I told ya’ to git yer lazy ass off the floor! Now move before I decided your too much of a hassle to keep on my ship! ”
Quill gave a stronger groan to the kick, grabbing her side. “Come oooooooooon. You’ve been working my ass off ever since I got here. Just let me have this.” She turned over again. “You’re just forcing me to do meaningless things.”
“ Meaningless!? Nothing i’ve had you do is meaningless! Every aspect of it is productive. It keeps affairs in order! Plies, it keeps you busy and out of moth my cabin and my hair when I’m working. We won’t see land for a few more days so you simply have to put up with it. Now Get. Up. ”
“Really? Scrubbing the already cleaned deck while you do... whatever it is that you do in your cabin? You call that productive?” Quill gave a scolding look and returned a kick to Perb’s leg. “And who’re you calling animal? I don’t refer to your species in an offensive way, you... long horned... small... uh. Bossy!” Quill turned away once more, pouting.

“Sure there wasn’t.” Clarke went back to ignoring Red and looking through the pages. “Damn it, is it time magic or gravitation magic? This stuff is always mixed up.”
He laughed a bit as he yawned softly “So how do you like this time anyways? ”
"The air feels stuffy. Plus there's hardly any Fera around, except you, maybe? I guess you count as half."
