MUSE IS UNDER TRUTH SERUM FOR ONE HOUR. ASK ME ANYTHING. NOTHING IS OFF LIMITS AND EVERYTHING MUST BE ANSWERED. GO!
stormsfuryjannastarguardian:
“You’re right, the difference between us is that I closed myself after losing my old team to the Dark Star, but you… You became a bitter person. You’re not alone, do you know that? You have friends that will protect you.My grave mistake was fight the dark star creatures alone in the past.” Janna’s aura changed as everyone could feel a strong breeze around her. She was angry again, just like in the Camp Targon’s. After she finished eating the natto, Janna hung her backpack and walked slowly out of the room. The purple star guardian just looked at Ahri with a pious expression. “Everyone has a second chance to do things right” she muttered before leaving the room.
“I know that I have friends that are willing to protect me, but I’m doing this to protect them. I’m doing this to protect your team as well.” Ahri thought to herself bitterly, placing down her pencil she took a moment to look as the Purple Guardian walked away.
A sad expression engraved itself upon her face as she relived the moment her allies faded in her head once more. Finishing up her notes, the Star Captain quickly thanked her classmate and left the classroom. She was able to focus on her classes, but all day something kept gnawing at her thoughts making it difficult to focus at times. The moment class was over, she said her good byes and went home rather than to her club.
Once it was late in the night, Ahri transformed and began a solo patrol in the city. The others were tired from the last invasion and exams were coming up. She had volunteered to solo patrol the first night. Nothing was out of the ordinary as she sat on the highest building looking down below.
The city was quiet and for those who didn’t know better, one would assume it was peaceful. Sadly as a Star Guardian she knew better because she had seen it all.

“Ahri!” Syndra cried and checked the other girl for injuries. Ahri spoke the truth, they really were at a disadvantage. They had to get out of here quickly and find the rest of their team, Lux’s team too. The more the merrier.
“Break a hole in their wall, let’s get through and get out of dodge.” she murmured to Ahri as she readied her familiar.
Syndra positioned three spheres, before unleashing a massive wave of starlight, much larger than the last. The wave knocked her familiar into several of the grunts, pushing them back and stunning them once again.
She made quick work of one of them, yanking one of the spheres with a tendril of starlight before slamming Multi back down against the grunt, earning laughter from her familiar.
“Ugh, didn’t anyone ever tell them it’s not nice to hit a lady?” Ahri replied as she stood up and prepared another attack, flinging Kiko and her Spirit Orb into the closest grunts.
Syndra had made an opening for the two and Ahri wasted no time in dashing for it, clearing out enemies as she went. With enough force the fox was able to make it through their formation without a problem.
“What is fate to someone who doesn’t believe in it? I can’t tell you the answer, because I believe in it. I believe that it’s a cruel way of using someone. The fate of some people is to die so that others can grow. To impact them and help them move on, but how is that fair for the ones who’ve passed? That makes no sense to me.”
“I’ve shed my tears and I have nothing left to cry about, so we’re going to change how this story ends. We’re going to do it MY way.”
now i perch above you, meticulous bird of prey. // as loved by ren.

(Gift Box) + Emergency Transporter Device and a note reading, "In case you get caught in a tight spot. Transports you 500 meters in the direction you're facing instantly. Can use it once every 20 seconds. Try it." //Could actually put that in the thread sometime
“I mean I can fly and dash about three times, but it never hurts to be safe.” Ahri thought to herself as she placed it in her backpack.
🎁 A fox plushie
“That is SO adorable. You can never have too many plushies!”
Send 🎁 And an object to give it to my muse!
"You're smarter than your naïve friends, I'll give you that. At least you take being a Star Guardian seriously." Urgot dryly laughed for a moment before cutting it off short. "But you're still as idiotic as them for continuing to fight. Why let future Star Guardians suffer when you could stop any more bright lights from burning out by giving in to the corruption now?"
“Give in and be ugly? Uhh, no thanks. Evil is so not my color.” Ahri replied as she clutched her arm “Star Guardians don’t have to suffer if we beat you guys first, besides have you seen yourselves? That’s suffering enough.”
Ahri had gone on a scouting mission alone and was caught off guard by the Dark Star’s Herald: Urgot. Normally high level enemies weren’t a problem, but this was someone who reported to the evil deity themselves. Not only that they’d be strong and without a team. She was definitely trapped.

Syndra kept a neutral face as they became surrounded. She turned to keep her back to Ahri’s. One of the spheres that made up Multi hovered in Syndra’s blind side, to warn her of an attack if it came from the left. It seemed this was going to be tougher than she had expected. But surely they could handle this.
One of the mutants screeched at them. If they attacked first, they would be in a bad spot. So Syndra gathered her familiar and unleashed an attack on one of the grunts, each of the spheres colliding with the body with a burst of purple glitter. When the grunt fell to the floor, there was an opening on Ahri’s left, her right.
“Ahri! Go left!” she called out, preparing another spell to attack.
Ahri quickly spirit dashed left and flung her orb towards one of the grunts nearby, attempting to make an opening and to give them breathing room. One grunt fell but another would take its place.
“I am so not in the mood for this. Syndra, we need to retreat and call the others. Unless we’re sure the amount of enemies that are here. We’re ate a severe disadvantage.” Ahri commanded as she dodged an attack from one of the grunts, however the tight space gave her little maneuver and she was quickly struck in the back.
The attack wasn’t deadly, but it would definitely leave a bruise as she went flying and landed right beneath Syndra’s feet. Quickly getting up it was obvious that there would not be a moments rest: It was a fight for their life.
stormsfuryjannastarguardian:
“I know that, but do you know there are other guardians right? We can take turns to watch and protect our city. One day your team, the next day Lux and the others, including me, can do that.” Janna replied, showing no reactions to the bitter answer she received. “And if your team needs help you’ll call us and vice versa” The veteran star guardian wouldn’t forget to eat, sitting on the seat next to Ahri and opening her backpack. Shoving her hands and picking up a natto. She started to eat slowly, just glaring at the leader and nodding. “I know that you had the same experience as me in the past. I can see that in your eyes.”
“Don’t imply that we’re the same, because we’re nothing alike. Anyways, if we’re together there is only more at risk. During a major invasion force then we’ll probably work together but small ones shouldn’t be a problem for a single team.”
Ahri didn’t waste a single moment as she copied the notes quickly, not once looking at the other. She wasn’t keen on being lectured and it was hard to believe that anyone could have experienced the same thing she did. Being too nice is what gets them killed.
@prcphetam The clear night sky seemed peaceful as the stars were shining brightly above. If one didn’t know any better then one could live in ignorant bliss, but that wasn’t the case for the Star Guardians. Ahri continued to gaze at the night sky as she waited for contact from another Star Guardian that was set to meet her.
“The First Star created life, but with it comes pain. The First Star chose us as worthy, but we don’t live with a blessing. I understand why we fight, why we’re chosen, and what we die for.” Ahri held Kiko up and spoke gently towards her familiar “I won’t let another star fade away.”
At that moment a star began to fall from the night sky and began landing towards her direction. They had finally arrived.
stormsfuryjannastarguardian:
“Yes, you need to rest, Ahri. Don’t exhaust yourself everytime.” Janna said, looking straight at Ahri’s eyes. Janna knew that being a Star Guardian was exhausting and can be a pain in the ass to be literal. Since she became one, she never had enough sleep. Even if the purple guardian was gentle that time, Janna didn’t forget the way Ahri treated Lux before the classes started.
“We don’t get much of a choice. A Star Guardian’s duty is to protect and to prevent invasions.” Ahri replied bitterly “I’d sooo love to get enough rest, but we have our duties. I hope you wouldn’t forget that.”
Finishing her pudding cup and placing it in the trash bin. Ahri quickly passed by Janna and asked one of her classmates for the notes before returning to her seat to copy them.
“There is always a way around things, life is never set in stone...” Ahri muttered to Janna.
