Sorry for the lack of activity again I had a hectic week at uni for the last time and looking after the dog I'm still recovering from no sleep last week but I'll be back as soon as I feel not so drained

"Captain, I am sorry but you're going to have to keep still if you want me to tend to you." Talia stated, looking toward Kirk, it was either her or McCoy and she knew how impatient he could be.

“But I don’t need tending to!” Jim itterated, pulling back quite swiftly. “It’s a scratch, seriously. I’m sure there’s something more important to do.”

Talia frowned slightly “Captain it’s not just a scratch” Talia replied, now she knew how McCoy felt. “Yes there is like making sure the Captain is okay. I am just doing my job, now your arm.” She stated this time in a firmer tone of voice.

“And I’m doing my job, which is being captain, and I outrank you, now let me pass, that’s an order.” He had, after all, more important things to do. Namely, not being around Medical. Botany was supposed to show him something in hydroponics, anyway.

Talia frowned though she didn't have a choice but to move out of the way "Fine, you know where I am if you want that sorted" Talia stated, crossing her arms over her chest. She gave a small huff now she knew what her mentor meant. "Well saying that I have a lunch date with Ellis in half an hour" Talia noted it was only during their break. "Talia you can go earlier if you want you did a whole night shift and a day shift" McCoy commented.

“He-” Ellis was in the middle of a greeting to everyone in the transporter room when Talia moved in front of him and pulled him into a sudden kiss. It had been a little touch-and-go on the surface but they were all alive. “Hey, Talia.”

Talia got her device out, scanning his vitals and in search for anything that might be unseen though as suspected there was nothing other than some simple bruises. “yeah you’re fine”

“See?” Ellis replied, holding his arms out as she scanned him with the tricorder and gave him the all-clear. “Am I free to go?”

Talia gave a nod of her head "Yes you're free to go" She responded giving him a small smile. "Though you don't have to go"

damn night at the museum is quality tho. accurate af castings, seamless incorporation of character backgrounds into the story (especially into the historical “museum” aspect like this scene and the one with Amelia Earheart and the black WWII pilots), all while maintaining a light, funny family comedy vibe the whole time

Talia gave a nod of her head “Oh dear” She responded “You’re not injured are you? No bruising? Scratches? Because I can look you over”

“I’m sure you’ll need it for the report so go ahead.” Ellis knew not to fight it, because it would come back to bite him in the end. “I don’t think it’s anything serious.”

Talia looked to Ellis, she gave a small sigh, hand going to her head. “..Yes I know and I do” She replied this time softer, calmer. “I’m sorry.. work has been difficult lately.. I didn’t mean to take it out on you” She apologised. 

She did look quite stressed, now that he took the time to properly look at her. Sighing softly, he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “Come on, I’m gonna treat you like a princess tonight - starting with a home cooked meal.”

Talia looked to Ellis, she leant her head against his shoulder giving a nod of her head "Thank you" She muttered, now come to think of it her head was pounding a little. "It's just been such a hard week"

Talia pulled away from the hug, “What happened? What went wrong?” She asked with a tilt of her head, she looked to Ellis eyes fixed upon him her hands still placed upon his sides.

“They mistook us for invaders, instead of a peaceful crew. We’re lucky no one was more seriously injured.” Ellis replied, looking into her worried eyes. “But it’s over now.”

"Extra Terrestrial" She thought she would challenge herself, though there was no doubt she was going to make a complete fool out of herself though Talia didn't care it was part of the fun for her.

“I was so frightened I could have lost you.. I don’t ever want to lose you” Talia whispered, nuzzling her face into his chest, she was significantly smaller than he was. How she wished with every mission he went on she could follow.

Ellis wasn’t usually called on away missions, but this was supposed to be first contact - which was his entire job role on the ship. But it had gone wrong and Talia must had heard it through the communicators - hence her relief now. “I’m fine, and I’m pretty sure I won’t be allowed on missions for a while now.”
