Sometimes I wonder if some people's hate or wariness towards Halsin comes from the fact that they never actually had a smart, respectful, mentally healed, emotionally mature and intellectual in both academic and emotional way man in their fucking lives, because... Like, sometimes it gives that ngl. As if some people can't really recognise an actual green flag cuz not that they had a basis for developing this kind of pattern recognition.

just found out that accidentally in love by counting crows was literally made for shrek. they didnt just choose it. it didnt exist before. they asked counting crows to make a song for shrek 2 and thats how we got one of the best songs ever made. insane.

I don’t agree with a lot of fandom takes on astarion but some of my favorites are the ones that recognize that he’s such a whiny little bitch. not to invalidate his character, he’s obviously got genuine emotions, trauma, and issues, but he’s also a petty little ass who will moan for an hour and a half about shadowheart healing him two minutes too slow. complains about his feet 10 minutes into a march. discovers mosquitoes and is immediately sent into a murderous rage by two (2) mosquito bites.

that man has a high pain tolerance and an absolute zero mild discomfort tolerance
