I‘ve always said to myself, that I won't allow my art to be used in ship wars, especially not on Tiktok. Yet here we are. As a beginner artist with a small platform, it‘s extremely hurtful to see my art going around without credits. I prepared myself to be faced with a lot of disrespect, when I first started drawing Acotar characters, but it still hurts. Acotar artists in general face so much disrespect in this fandom, it's not normal. I‘m very upset about this and just felt like ranting. Unfortunately, there‘s nothing much I can do about it. I asked the account to take the video down, I hope they do.

This is so disrespectful to the artist. Whenever you use anyone's art, credit them. If you don't know who they are, find out or ask your followers to credit them.

And of course, it's Gwynriels disrespecting elriel art again.

I hope non of you defend this behaviour. Call out people who do wrong.

Thank you for this, I just want to say that this account is disrespecting Gwynriel artists too by not giving them credits. It may not be a big deal to Gwynriels because the video is positive for their ship, but to me it would have been an issue, even if it was a positive Elriel video.

It‘s not a ship vs. ship thing, it’s about the disrespect artists face in the Acotar fandom in general💕
