"I still remember that we kissed." Clint said with a grin. He knew they did much more than kiss but it was a reference to last time they kissed which Clint sadly has no memories of thanks to one of SHIELD's experiments.

Clint smiled at Tony's reaction and kept kissing his neck

He lightly gripped Clint's shoulders

Clint pulled back and looked at Tony. "You're good?"

"I'm ok"

"Good." Clint smiled and kissed Tony's neck again

He went a brighter red, softly panting as he put a hand on the back of Clint's head

Emilia had been slowly easing up to the team these past few weeks. Small but meaningful things. Like leaving her door unlocked, responding when people check in on her. She’s making progress. Real progress.

One night, she hears laughter from the kitchen, talking, the sound of plates and silverware. She thinks for a long moment before peeking her head out of her room, seeing the team preparing a big dinner on the dining table.

"Emi hey! We're just getting ready for dinner, do you want to join us?"

"TONY ARE YOU IN HERE!!" Bucky shouted at the top of his lungs in the lobby of the tower

"Jarvis or Friday who the hell ever is the voice thing I need Tony." Bucky sunk to his knees holding his forehead with his metal hand and holding a syringe with a little bit of green liquid in it and his other hand.

Tony opened the door "Bucky!!! What's wrong?!" He immediately bent down to where Bucky was on his knees.

"He's fading Tony he's fading and my head hurts so bad... I can't lose him." There was clear fear and panic in his hazy eyes.

Bucky handed Tony the syringe the tip of the needle was bent a little.

"Nick told me to make my way back here. That you might be able to help. Or know someone I can't TONY!"

"I can help. Get in the med pod! Quick!" He helped Bucky to the med pod, and he began trying to reverse engineer the green liquid, trying to figure out how to fix it

"I'm sorry for screaming it's just that I'm so scared. I can hear his little cries for help." Bucky sits when they get there his hands trimmed even his metal finger nervously moved around

"It's ok." He kept working on the reverse engineering the green liquid.

"This has to be the super soldier poison you and Nick talked about..."

"It might be that or what they came up with to get rid of winter. I feel fine other than the headache I think the headache is because of winter fading." Bucky closes his eyes trying not to cry.

Part of him secretly wished it had been the poison. At least if Tony couldn't figure it out in time they could at least die together.

He nodded, and watched as the liquid changed color "Deep breath in" He had changed the needle and pushed it into Bucky's flesh wrist before injecting it

Bucky hissed slightly when he watches the needle go in.

"Mhmm, hate needles Tony even if this doesn't work. I want you to know that I am very grateful for your help." Bucky whispered softly.

"I'm grateful to be helping you." He whispered back

''I had a horrible thought just a little while ago. Part of me wished it was the poison. That way if this fails winter and I would die together." Bucky shook his head and looked away sadly he felt ashamed for some reason.

He looked worried, then sighed "Honestly, I couldn't blame you..."

"I guess I grew to love and understand him. In the beginning I hated my head not being quiet but, now the silence hurts Tony I can't hear him but I feel him." Bucky was worried for a moment he felt like winter was there.

"I hate to ask you this but, do you have a dog whistle?"

Tony got a dog whistle out and blew it

Bucky's head jerk back and his eyes to roll back in his head a little and when he looked at Tony his eyes smeed more blank then they usually did when winter takes over.

"New handler for soldat?" It's voice smeed scared

"No, no, Winter it's Tony"

"Tony?" Why does it sound familiar why does it feel the urge to protect him?

"Soldat, doesn't know you feel familiar or why the other voice calls me winter. But, soldat likes the name Winter you don't seem like hydra. You must want me for mission or for uh, pleasure favors."

"No, neither of those. I'm trying to help you" He said softly, trying to help him remember himself

Bucky nearly blocked out the pleasure favors he had done for food. But, now it came flooding back.

"Mhmm friend Tony friend. I'm not asset anymore I'm free?"

"You're free now. You're not an asset anymore"

Piccolo came into medbay mewling and rubbed against Bucky's legs.

"Kitten my baby my piccolo?" Winter tilted his head

"Yep, it's your Piccolo" He picked Piccolo up and put Piccolo in Winter's lap

Bucky wished he knew how winter was able to take over before so he could tell him how to. But, he softened when winter remembered piccolo.

"Kitten so tiny and cute Tony is cute too but, not tiny." Winter petted the kitten and he started to purr and curl up in his lap

Tony smiled a little "I'm cute?" He blushed, but smiled at Piccolo. He gently pet Piccolo as well

"Yes, very cute wait you fixed our arm."

"I did do that. It was busted up, so I fixed it"

"Starting to remember still kinda blurry it was that stuff wasn't it? Where's the scary pirate that was with us?"

"He's at his work right now. I can have him come here if you want"

"He, was with us on a walk when we got attacked and jabbed with needle. He told us to run here, get to safety everything grew fuzzy nearly went bye-bye."

Tony wrapped his arms around Clint's neck as they kissed, pulling him closer

Clint wrapped his arms around Tony and pulled Tony on top of him while he kissed him deeply

Tony kept kissing back, letting out little sighs

Clint broke their kiss just to put his lips on the soft skin on Tony's neck a moment later

He blushed a soft pink "Oh~"

He opened the door, and let her in, sitting her down as he made some hot cocoa

She wipes her eyes “I’m sorry… were you asleep?”

"No, I wasn't asleep. What's wrong, Emi?" He turned to her with the mugs one read 'Purrfect' and the other read 'Doggone Doll'

She shrugs “I don’t even know… I just feel off… it’s probably nothing”

"If you feel off, it's something" He gave her the 'Purrfect' mug and sat with her

“But I can’t… I can’t work out what’s off”

"Ok, let's start small. Did you see something that could've triggered this?"

“I don’t think so?”

"Did you wonder what could've caused this? Did you read something that could've made you feel like this?"

“I don’t know I was… I was looking over my file? When we were dealing with that Hydra agent?”

He nodded "And how did it make you feel to see that Hydra agent's name?"

She shrugs “it felt… familiar… but I don’t really remember how”

He nodded "Could it have been a handler?"

“No I… she’s only slightly older than me…”

He nodded "Slightly older... that changes things..."

“How does it change things?”

"Ages in Hydra determine ranks from what I learned"

“Or connections… Jamie became a soldier at 18 because our bother was already high ranking”

"Exactly, or connections. See? You're teaching me something new"

She smiles softly, looking to the ground

“Did you…talk to Lyra at all?”

"I did.. she's just a kid like you.."

Emilia looks down, not sure how to feel “yeah a kid trying to kill us all” she mumbles

"I did something to make her more compliant, Emi. I blew Devil's Dust in her face"

“…. And what happened?”

"She became compliant and began doing what I asked"

“… and what did you ask? What did she do? Did she hurt you?”

"I told her to stop hunting us, and find a hobby. She didn't do anything and didn't hurt me"

“And she really listened?”

"Devil's Breath is a powerful drug of suggestion"

Emilia’s lips press together “but how do we know she’ll listen after it’s worn off”

"Have you seen her do anything yet?"

“No…. No I haven’t”

"It's been worn off for a while"

She presses her lips together again, still not entirely trusting this situation “ok… ok fine”
