The subject in this photo is clearly doing her makeup. Looking at something off-screen, and really like to do their make up due to the many projects in the back. Likes to take pictures, the camera in the background. The subject has long brown hair. The mood that this photo gives off is something more concentrated, the way the subject looks in the mirror just gives off a mood of concentrate, wanting to get the makeup right for the look. The subject seems to be in a room, probably a bedroom doesn’t look like a bathroom with the items that are laying around.

In this photo, it seems as if this young male is giving off a vibe that he sees something off camera, that we are unable to see. He is also stretching, he could be tired and the photographer caught him off guard with what he was doing. The tattoo could be being showed off, seeing as he is stretching out and the shirt lifts up to reveal a plant. The male is a plant lover, he has a tattoo of it clearly. They are somewhere deep in a forest, the rocks and background provide that evidence for it.

Tiredness, anger and pain. It’s clearly the mood of this photo. The young adult is showing their tiredness of how this virus is affecting them.

In this photography, I have chosen to do a self portrait. I was at home, bored out of my mind and decided to take some photos of myself, I was looking for items to use in my photos, and saw a potted plant, and thought to myself that it would be a silly photo. It took me a few tries to get this photo right, but it shows my mood for how I am feeling with this quarantine going on, bored and honestly going crazy. Who just puts a potted plant on their head for no reason? Crazy People.

3: The photos of the electric area, has many leading lines. It goes through the middle of the photo, and also straight up leading your eyes through the whole thing. The darkness of this photo, makes it look mysterious and makes you wonder if this place because of the trees is abandoned or not, it’s a very eerie photo.

2: The thick trees in the photo bring a lot of subject to it, but the real star of the photo is this building that is left behind to rot in the woods, you don’t know where it’s there, nor why it’s saying LFS 1912, Might be the year that it was made, but there is nothing else around the area to signify whats going on. In the top area of the photo, there is a little bit of sky peaking through, showing how deep we are in the forest.

1; I went to my backyard, there is a forest preserve there. Seeing as we had to be social distancing, I went around here, I found a river, and a train actually that made me pick this place to keep photographing. The time of day was around Golden Hour, maybe 4/5pm. Beautiful lighting that was back lighting to trees, to make them pop a bit more. It had been a cloudy day, but the sun finally came out midway through the day and I got a few nice photos besides this one because of the lighting.

4: This photo was taken around 2pm, it was partly cloudy and windy out it gave a little bright of lighting, but the photo ended up coming out amazing, it really makes you look at the off center trees in the middle of the photo. It brings out a lot in the photo.

I was given the challenge to take a lot of different photographs of a sewer. I thought it seemed easy. I figured out during the process that it’s really not. The photos I took started to become similar and harder to make differences. I liked this assignment because it made me think about how to photograph something as boring as a sewer and make it interesting.

I have learned with this assignment, that creativity is key. You have to think outside the box and figure out certain ways to take these photos to make sure they don’t look similar

With this photo, I added a little to it, i used photoshop to bring out the colors, and the contrast. It brought a little it more to the photo, and make it pop just a little bit more than it did when the photo was original, it brought out the colors of the rust. I am very pleased with how this photo turned out. I am not someone to want to edit my photos, but I have realized that sometimes you have to edit them to bring a little life to the photos.

The mirror in this photo ended up breaking, showing lines through the mirror but also it showed different parts of the sky. It’s beautiful. There are many different lines that lead you towards the mirror in this photo. The textures as well, are fairly nice in this photo. The leaves look very crunchy, and the branches are very fragile and easy to break. I really like this photo-based off the leading lines in it.

Using a mirror, it’s an ordinary object, I had the job to make it extraordinary. So I used a friend of mine, to help me and we made the mirror somewhat look like there were two people in the photo looking at me, instead of just one real person. It was a fun shoot to do, and I had a lot of fun doing it. The makeup in this shoot was also fun to work with, because it brought out his eyes, and made it seem like his eyes were popping out at you.
