Nothing Comes True

You speak to us like no other Sounds flowing throughout our bodies The waves are meticulous Forming a beautiful rainbow

We reach out to the sky Desperate to touch the pure colors Only to be burned by the illusion Deceived by the mirage

Smooth patterns shatter around me I reach out to grab something Hold onto anything But it all falls apart in an instant

Note: This was just an off the dome piece. I have a lot on my mind about a recent event, and this is just a small bit of how I'm feeling at the moment in relation to that. Have an AMAZING day. dividers by @uzmacchiato <3

Complexity of Light WIP

hi, this is just something I've been working on lately. It originally was based on something else, but i think I'm changing it to be about anxiety. this is just a WIP. (work in progress)

The lights never soften here Their glow intensifies under every thought When the bulb begins to flicker, its never out for long It comes back brighter like it was there all along

Some days I look up and it's gone Forcing me through blind navigation Walls lose the memory of where they belong Tense air settles in after, darkness tailoring perfectly to my body

Finally the pressure relents And the air gets pulled loose by the wind Moving softly beneath the double sky Revealing an unwalked path

Note: Gentle critiques welcome. I'm probably gonna change a couple lines. My theme is light if you couldn't tell lol. I like the visual I get reading this, but I don't know.. there's something about the wording that's not resonating with me. I'll update whenever I decide to edit it :) Also, if you're on desktop pls ignore the fact the title is not centered...Have an AMAZING day.
