Hi! Mod Da-Bomb here! Sorry for not answering asks, but I got hit with a major mental block recently. It makes it hard to be in character and answer asks properly.
That and Iām currently on vacation right now! :0
So yeah, thatās also taking up my time.
BUT!!! Iām starting to feel better now so hopefully Iāll be able to answer asks when I get back from my vacation next week on Monday or Tuesday!!! :D
Iām not sure why, but my programming makes me more sensitive and aware of my surroundings than the average robot or human. So things like sounds and textures can either be a negative or positive experience for me depending on how much I like them or not.
Certain kinds of sounds/textures can feel really nice to me, but if thereās too much sound or I touch something that feels awful to me, it can feel wellā¦ overstimulating.
Do you happen to know why Griff is loud all the time? I swear his voice travels the whole hub-
Some people are born with naturally loud voices. Sadly, Griff is one of those people.
He thinks yelling āhow great his deals areā would get more customers in his shop, but in reality it does the opposite. That and how he says it really doesnāt do him any favors. Your supposed to have a calm and welcoming voice when greeting the guest, especially if it their first time at the park, not practically shouting at them if their even gonna buy anything at your shop and making them feel uncomfortable enough to never step foot in there again. Humph, and he wonders why heās in so much financial troubleā¦
Criticism aside, he really is a loud fellow. He gets even louder when people donāt listen to him and sadly that happens a lotā¦

No offense, but guest are on the ābig noā list for me. Please do not touch me unless I have given permission for you to do so. You would not believe how many times someone has patted me on the head unwarranted.
For the brawlers however, Iām more lenient with. Even so, I have my limits with them.
The few exceptions that I have are with the Arcade Trio, Colette, and Otis since Iām very close with them. I feel like I can trust them enough to be vulnerable, so I donāt mind being hugged or shown other types of affection by them.
But there are days where I donāt want to be touched at all. It can be very overstimulating for me.
R-T! Do you know why Grom's so... Jittery? He seems to act like he had a ton of caffeine in him-
Nah, thatās not caffeine. Thatās a little thing we call āanxiety.ā
Not entirely sure why he acts the way he does and I know he has a fear for kids, so I guess that could be one of the reasons.
It makes my job a little more difficult considering I need to communicate with him on the regular, since weāre both security for the park and wellā¦ Iām a kid (teenager technically).

"Go cry about it." Belle dismissed the bulk of the robot's spiel. "She's fine. The Kid just doesn't get to blog."
Belle took a swig of the fruity drink she had. She pushed her glasses up and glared suspiciously. "Wait a minute. Speakin' of, how'd you even know she was here?"
R-Tās screen glitched at the first statement, but he rolled his eyes at the second one.
āAnd I thought Sam was the dumb oneā¦ā R-T thought as he watched Belle continue to glare at the security camera he let her see so they can communicate properly. Maybe it was because she was in a bathing suit or because he was behind a screen in his watchtower, but it wasnāt as intimidating as Belle thought it was. Not that he would say that out loud.
āNeed I remind you that I have cameras everywhere?ā R-T said and to really drive home that point he let around five or so cameras become unhidden from their spots. One was in the outdoor bar that Barely was working at today and when it suddenly appeared, it spooked the poor bot and almost made him drop the bottle of alcohol he was holding. Another appeared from underneath the pool Belle was in and was comically wearing goggles and a snorkel. He left them exposed for a second or two longer before he retracted them back to their original spots.
R-T couldnāt help but feel a since of pride when he saw a brief look of shock on Belleās face that she quickly hid with a more natural face. Sometimes, he loved his job.
āThat and with the very obvious lack of a hyperactive fan girl running around the park and a bit of process of elimination, itās not hard to figure out where she went.ā he simply stated.
Oh, she was more than mildly annoyed now. Belle put her prescribed sunglasses back on with a sour frown.
āYou bozo,ā she swiped her right arm towards the camera that floated in front of her, dousing it in a good amount of water.
Yeah, her guess was that it was waterproof. But itās the principle of letting R-T know just how little she cared for him. Juvenile, sure, but guess what? She didnāt care!
āI meant that since you barely came to talk to me about this, that means you just found out about it, didnāt you? Youāre slackinā.ā Belle said, to purposely dig at him while she thought about the fact.
Obviously she didnāt tip R-T off.. Sam wouldnāt either. Knowingly.
āCOLETTE.ā She called out.Ā āGet over here!ā
Colette raised her head from the phone she stole borrowed from Sam and got up from the beach chair she was sitting in to walk up to Belle.
"Are you giving me my phone back???"
After getting close enough to Belle, she tries to think of how to hide the phone, only to end up getting distracted and running into Sam, falling face first next to Belle with the phone on hand.
"Oow!" As if tasting the ground wasn't bothering her, Colette simply looked up at Belle. "Can I get my phone back!!!??? Give me my phone baaack."
Belle wasnāt impressed. āFor the hundredth time, no.ā
āOop, you okay?ā Sam was walking over, because it looked like the weird camera was bothering Belle. He didnāt mean to knock down Colette. But then, he saw a glimpse of the phone in the girlās hand.Ā āHey. Is that--?ā
Belleās sharp gaze followed to what Sam was starting to point out.Ā āAh-ha! So you were the one who invited this nosy nimrod over! I told you that you were grounded!ā
Insulting jabs aside, he was happy to see that Colette was ok.
Wait-
āGrounded!?ā R-T exclaimed as Sam helped Colette get back onto her feet. She look at the little camera sheepishly and shrugged.
R-T wasnāt one to get anger over a simple misunderstanding, but today was an exception.
āā¦So you had me look up and down this park, using up my precious time to find you because I thought you were in danger only to find out that not only are you on vacation, but was just simply grounded from using your phone!?ā It would be an understatement if you said that R-T was pissed.
Belle was now looking between the camera and Colette while Sam glared at it because of how he yelled at her. Colette was fidgeting with her fingers now and let out a nervous laugh.
R-Tās screen was glitching like crazy now. Yes, he was mad at Colette, but it was his own damn fault for taking her words at face value. He couldnāt help but feel mad at himself now.
āColetteā¦ please, next time phase your words better so you do freak me out like that againā R-T said as calmly as he could. He then turned the camera towards Belle.
āI apologize for wasting your time Ms. Belle. Itās clear to me now what the situation is actually like and now that I know that Colette is safe, I wonāt be wasting anymore of your time. Thank you for your corporation and have a good rest of your vacation.ā R-T said in the most professional sounding voice he could. Before any of them could get another word in, he cut the transmission.

Itās because 8-Bit doesnāt know how to deal with his feelings about his crushes and itās Incredibly frustrating to watch. Time and time again I have seen him chicken out last minute on simply trying to talk to them and at this point itās getting sad.
8-Bit, someone who I genuinely look up to, see as a brother, and is so cool being turned into a bashful dummy over romantic feelings ughā¦
Me, Rico, and Brock have tried to encourage him to at least say hi to them, but heās being a p- coward about it. I donāt know, I guess heās just afraid of being rejected which is totally understandable, but honestly it feels like heās being a bit overdramatic at this point for me.
I rather him get it over with, and maybe be rejected or accepted, now before one of them finds someone else and leaves him regretting not telling them sooner than later.

And to answer your question, I kind of justā¦ do? Itās a little hard to describe honestly because I havenāt really thought of it until now, but I guess the best way to describe it is that if I want my head to go forward, it goes forward while my body stays in place and vice versa with my body.
Itās actually pretty hard to control both of my parts at the same time, so thatās why one of them has to stay in place while the other is moving or else I lose my focus.
