THE PRINCESS DIARIES 2 (2004) Dir. Garry Marshall
“I was on a strict diet during Episode VIII, and she was like, ‘Kid, get into that fridge and take some chocolate bars. I have many there.’ And I did,” he recalls. “I failed my diet because Carrie Fisher told me to. And it [felt] great.”
-John Boyega on Carrie Fisher
This is the Carrie Fisher post of body positivity reblog for a chocolate bar from her fridge
the lost boys through lucy's perspective is actually ragebait. imagine being lucy- ur stressed that one of ur sons is going through it emotionally and to make matters worse he doesn't want to open up to you at all. your other son, on the other hand, humiliates you during your date night all for some fictional creature. your boss/situationship lowk roasts you for how you raised them. looking for a solution, your boss/situationship offers to be a "male figure in their life". you're thinking to yourself "oh nah that didn't work the first time- i'd probably do a better job myself", then the next words that come out of his mouth are that he will employ your sons.
now if i were lucy lowk i'd crash out. wym i want to give my sons a better life and my situationship/boss is not only roasting the way i've raised my sons, but suggesting that employment is the solution to all my problems.
SPOILERS DOWN BELOW
then to make matters worse it's then revealed to lucy that "employing her sons into the video max family" isn't actually giving them a job, but turning them into bloodsucking creatures after they sang that song about "no more monsters". are you serious right now.
yk what would be funny? a lost boys au where there really were no vampires in santa carla and the frog brothers + sam lowk just wreak havoc. it would be like in saiki k where kaidou would blame every misfortune to come his way on "the dark reunion".
i could imagine "the lost boys" entertaining the frog brothers + sam in order to make michael happy. for example, human david pretending to sleep upside down on the staircase railway of the emerson house trying to tease sam, and in doing so flirting w michael, but inadvertently falling over when the frogs run near him as they conveniently hold a crucifix.
or as "the lost boys" and michael bike around coronado bluff, marko falls off his bike chipping two of his teeth resulting in fang-like canines and getting concussed (where his headache can only be relieved in a dimly- lit area). the next time sam and the frog brothers see marko, dark circles form under his eyes and he winces as the lights turn on- revealing his chipped teeth.
maybe in this reality everyone would have lived happily ever after, but idk!
beagle encounter
oomf here gave me the idea to draw Snoopy and Data together, and I thought it'd be a great scenario if the crew, somehow, came across him!
text:
Riker: What is a beagle doing in space?
Data: Not just any beagle, Sir. Snoopy was the first beagle in space.

Next up someone is going to claim that the Narnia series isn't kids books.
Kids books is probably not the best way to word it, you can enjoy them at every age, including your childhood, as you get older you may find new truths in them, but they're still good for any age.
I want you to understand this. I NEED you to understand this. My mother read me the hobbit as bedtime story, and I started pushing myself to read before pre-school so I could in fact read the hobbit for myself instead of having to wait for bedtime.
I didn't do so right away but jesus wept I PUSHED myself to learn to read SPECIFICALLY so I could read The Hobbit! It is, in fact, a children's story! And children only see page count as 'there is a lot of this fun story to read!'
