“Yeah, really.” Well, he was certainly enthusiastic, wasn’t he? Not that he could blame him; it wasn’t often that Lucas met a Unovan in Sinnoh. He never could figure out why; maybe because it was usually so cold? “Yeah, that sounds good. I could always use more information on Unova.”
“That’s so cool! Aw man it’s been... ages I think since I last saw a fellow Unovan. Well, probably not but dude it sure feels like it. I’ve been traveling in Sinnoh for six months now and I can’t remember seeing let alone meeting anyone up until this moment!” He clapped his hands together, perhaps a bit too excited (if the stares he was given by passersby was anything to go off of) at this sudden development.
But in all honesty, could anyone really blame him? Loneliness was all too common when traveling, and meeting someone who admitted to having ties to his beloved region brought a great sense of comfort to him. “Oh but dude before the info what’s your name? Mine’s Alfred! Alfred F. Jones!”

“Ah.. Zeus is of Greece’s mythology.” it made sense, Greek had a lot of ceremonies that involved various sports that people may not know in the modern days. Not like it was buried, but now almost any country could be known for a sport. “For you to have known about it.. That is very knowledgeable of you, Mr.. Alfred”
“Pffft, nah Kiku! Not really! I just read a bunch of stuff and gather information as I go!” In spite of his statement Nantucket twitched in the all too obvious happiness he acquired from the praise, his spine straightening that much more and his chest puffing out just a tiny bit. It was a small, barely thought of compliment that was tossed out there, nothing more, and while Alfred knew that all too well he couldn’t help the immense satisfaction he felt at having done something right in the eyes of one of his fellow nations.
Running a hand through his hair, he rid himself of those thoughts. It wouldn’t do to dwell on something like that right now. He had to stay positive and upbeat. He also had to inquire about something that had been tugging at the front of his mind as of late. “No but uhh... dude, do you want me to call you ‘Mr. Honda’? Or is it alright to keep calling you ‘Kiku’? I’ve been calling you by your first name this entire time, and I wanna make sure you’re okay with that. Ya know?”

I like to know my writing partner. This isn’t always necessary, and if you’re not the sort of person who tries to get chummy with their roleplaying buddies, that’s absolutely fine, but in my experience, the plots and characters that last the longest are the ones with the players that I can message at 3 in the morning with an idea without feeling like I’m bothering them.

“Did you know that long ago, in the region of Sinnoh, there was once a barren and desolate hill that, no matter how hard people tried to grow flowers there to cheer the place up, it simply wouldn’t? Then someone gave thanks for a blessing of nature, and out of nowhere the entire hill burst into bloom with gorgeous flowers. That town is now known as Floaroma Town!”
