I’m actually so emo about Mimiko and Nanako I know 90% of the fandom doesn’t care for them bc they were barely there but I love them and Suguru so much they went and found a finger of Sukuna’s in hopes to appease him enough to ask for help against Kenjakun that is so crazy, they probably hadn’t even been in a mission before, who knows how much they actually trained AARRRGHH THEY WERE JUST TEEN GIRLS !!!!!!! and they loved Suguru so so much and I know he loved them just as much. Those pictures released in the JJK movie upset me so bad I wish we would have gotten even a few of those in the manga/anime even the shortest flash back I do think it changes everything. Like they were close close, not just Gojo and Sugu but Gojo/Sugu/Shoko!! And Nanami and Hibara!! They went out to eat, THEY WENT TO EACH OTHERS HOUSES!!!!! did they all meet Suguru’s parents??! Did they love their son? Did he loved them?? And Shoko being in every single photo smiling IFUUUUUGFFHHHHHU SHOKOOOOOO 😭😭😭 I love Shoko so much i eat up any bit of crumb Gege throws my way ugh those photos fucked me uuppp so bad 😩😩

I truly think jjk could have been elevated if Geto and Gojo were women. Like everything single line, every character is the exact same but those two are women. Idk I feel like it would have added a certain depth. Actually as I type this out if that were the case the gojo x sukuna fight talk on the internet would have been horrific beyond belief. Ah in another timeline I guess 🤞

As much as I love the idea of yuri stsg, I may have to disagree, especially for Gojo. ONLY because it’s essential to his character that physically/biologically he is the perfect subject to lead his clan and enforce tradition/conservative values, and yet he chooses not to. I think it’s important that Gojo values progress even though it’s not something he would necessarily benefit from directly. As a male with a generational CT, it would be in his best interest to perpetuate the patriarchal/power based hierarchy but instead he educates and nurtures the next generation. I think if he was a woman it would feel more like a ‘take down the patriarchy because it’s the only way you can be free’ storyline (and there absolutely is value in that, see maki) but it wouldn’t be Gojo to me.

My only knowledge of Pokémon comes from Pokemon Sleep lol but I agree. Although I could also see Gojo being associated with a legendary Pokémon or something super rare because… Gojo

No it IS actually crazy Kenny being Yuji’s mom isnt talked about enough in-universe. he’s yuji’s MOTHER, like that should have affected Yuji more somehow? Emotionally maybe? Also Suguru used in maternal imagery again? idk I feel like there’s plot there. gege let me pitch you something real quick 🙏

Yuji always struck me as someone who was very secure about his past and not having parents, probably because he always had his grandpa and that was enough for him. Which is almost sadder than a kid that wishes he knew his mom and dad tbh. But since he had accepted that his parents were gone his biggest problem with Kenjaku being his mom was probably just that his identity was then tied to his enemy, which I think we see him wrestling with just a little bit (him thinking he’s just a cog, etc) his sense of self worth tanks after Shibuya but coincidentally also after realizing Kenjaku is his mom. I do think gege could have played with the effects of that more though.

I get so nostalgic for before jjk ended. When we did not know how Yuuji and Sukuna were related? Peak I loved twins Sukuna and Jin. All the unk kuna art on here holds a very special and soft place in my heart

I’ve heard lots of good things about it! I haven’t read it yet because I find AUs hard to get into, but I probably will read it eventually because I feel like I’m missing out haha

this irrelevant to the seriousness of jjk but I need to know how Gojo became a teacher. I know he has always wanted to focus on the next gen but did he graduate and they just let him become a teacher? Did he become a teacher at 18? Did he go to college? Did he need any certifications? Or is his certification that he’s Gojo? Did his clan throw hissy fit? Did he always want to be a teacher? Was leading and shaping a better tomorrow always in the back of his mind? Or just after Suguru left? Does he teach regular math/history/reading? Ik his students scores are atrocious but is it bc he’s a bad teacher or bc student sorcers don’t care about that stuff? Gojo my king I wish we had more time with you <\3

Anon I think about this all the time. If I remember correctly there was an interview from gege (probably from that gojo booklet that came out a while back) where he said gojos whole ‘I can only save people that are ready to be saved, just being strong isn’t enough’ moment after the KFC breakup was when he decided to become a teacher. I think gege communicated that super well in the scene because I had that as a headcanon before he confirmed it lol. I also find it significant that yaga was present in that scene (starry puts a dollar in the Yaga mentions jar). Gojo def looks up to him and I think he knew how impactful a teacher can be because of Yaga.

As far as college, I can’t imagine Gojo having enough time post-HI to go to school lol. I bet they gave him some basic teaching training and let him at it. He’s also super smart and well-educated even as a high schooler, I’m sure he could teach himself anything he didn’t already know. I guarantee his clan was pissed though, they would for sure want him working as a full time clan leader/sorcerer.

Also also! one of my biggest gojo teacher headcanons is that his first year teaching was the hakari/kirara year class, so by jjk 0 he’s only on year 2 of teaching. He would’ve had a pretty significant gap in between school + becoming a teacher, but I like it because I feel like he’s so attached to the students that we see in the story that it doesn’t make sense to me that he could’ve had students before that.
