My first shot at creating a sort of tutorial/guide, telling how I do things. On this initial chapter we’re going over the handy matter of Hands. Not meaning to be an encyclopedic explanation, only showing my own methods and self-taught clues. Hoping somebody finds it useful! :3 I’ll do more if this one is received well. So let me know~

saying “im voting for Hillary” does not mean “i condone everything she’s done” it really means that not voting for her would basically be supporting her opponents WHO ARE 5 BILLION TIMES WORSE If you choose not to vote in the next election because you don’t agree with hillary 100%, you’re not helping anyone but the nasty republican running against her
Voting is not about finding a candidate that you love but rather examining all the ones that appear and deciding which one better suits your view of what the future should be like. And if you’re consistently disappointed with the selection presented you should become more active in politics, not less. People who don’t get involved in politics like to wash their hands off the whole thing, claim when the time comes that “it wasn’t their fault”. By not voting you’re taking a stand, not refraining from doing so.
It’s important to understand that we’re here because of apathy, and it’s not just for presidential elections. Our voter turnout rate tends to hover in the 40-60% range, with more people turning out for presidential elections than anything else. And do you know who always shows up to these?
Old people.
Younger people tend to avoid voting. Either they say “oh I just don’t know the candidates, so I won’t bother”, or they say “whatever, my vote doesn’t matter” or come up with some equally asinine excuse.
And then a few months later, they’re horrified by whatever politician is passing some anti-abortion law or anti-LGBT law.
If you don’t vote, you’re actively allowing the largest group of conservative “traditionalists” to hold majority power in the US. You’re saying “eh, I like how things are going” and jamming your hands into your pockets.
Everybody NEEDS to vote, because if you don’t, then politicians think that all they need to do is sell themselves to the old people. Hell, there’s a reason Obama campaigned aggressively for kids to vote for him–he knew that the majority of racist old white people who regularly vote would NEVER vote for him.
If you vote, then Republicans will start realizing that they can’t rely on a dying population to keep themselves afloat, and they’ll have to become more moderate to compete. If you don’t vote, then they’ll keep swinging more extreme to try and appeal to racist old white people.
I like to draw Hime and Disney a lot.
