pseudo harem the anime sucks
I mean the dialogue feels so stilted and awkward and the whole acting thing is really confusing
it has a good premise though
edit: I was 4 eps in and tired it’s actually pretty fine and not bad

Happy Together
This is the human version of the chatgpt fic I posted before this. It was better in the dream I had. I added the flashback afterwards, it wasn’t in the dream.
Two strangers are at school. Boy A, let’s call him, sits in the back of the classroom, to the left. Boy B sits two rows ahead, one row to the right. He’s near the front row, but one row behind it. All is well. It is just an ordinary day. The teacher is teaching. Students are taking notes. Nothing special. But then, out of nowhere, a sudden pain in the chest appears for both boys. Their heads ache. What… is this feeling? Heat rises in the chest. Boy A wants to steal a glance at Boy B. Boy B wants to look at Boy A. Their eyes meet. They look away. The feeling doesn’t go away. Suddenly it feels unbearable to sit in class. Ansty. Boy A thinks “No, that’s just some guy! I- I don’t know him! He’s my classmate, sure.. but now? This feeling, what is this feeling?” The class bell rings. The two of them hurriedly rush out of the classroom. They happen to meet in the hallway. Embarrassed, they both shout “Get away from me!” They both run to opposite ends of the building. They appear to be safe for now. But thoughts keep coming into their heads. Boy A looks at the floor next to the wall. “Tsk.” Boy B looks to the garden in frustration. “There’s nothing I want more… No! There’s nothing I want less!” The two manage to avoid each other until the end of the day. They both are changing their shoes at the same time. There’s a hot sting in the air between them. Boy A closes the locker door. Boy B does the same. They both stand there, for a second with their backs facing each other. Until, they both turn around and look at each other. Suddenly, it’s like they’re seeing the hottest person ever, in front of them, like a juicy peace of bacon they can’t resist. They passionately make out for a bit. But it’s not enough. Hand in hand, they run out of the building. Boy A asks“Who’s house is closer?” “Mine’s a kilometer away that way.” “Mine’s a half this way.” “Alright, let’s go.” As soon as they get home, they throw their bags to the ground and Boy B pins Boy A to the bed. “Where are your parents?” “They don’t come here a lot. Next visit’s in a week. What about yours?” “Mom works the night shift and could literally not care less what I do with my life.” “Ok less talking. More-” And Boy B starts kissing him. Boy A grabs the small square at his bedside, and the two shuffle around.
It’s two hours later. Clothes are on the floor, it’s getting dark outside, and the two are nestled comfortably in bed. They go to sleep without another word.
It’s the next morning. 6:00am. Boy A’s alarm goes off. He groggily wakes up and turns off the alarm. He wakes up Boy B. They both take a minute to remember where they are and what happened yesterday. The weird feeling from yesterday seemed to have disappeared. “Morning, Boy A.” “Morning, Boy B.” “Um, did you want to talk about-”he starts. “No. I think it’s pretty clear what happened. I’m going to go brush.” Boy A gets out of bed, and puts some of his clothes back on. Boy B also gets out of bed and gathers his clothes. Boy A comes back, and suddenly Boy B remembers “Oh no. I totally forgot to do the homework last night.” Boy A looks at Boy B. “There was homework last night?” “Yeah, the teacher was taking about it right before…” “Right before…” They are both silent for a second. Boy B speaks“Um, so, wanna finish it right now?” “Yeah, that would be best. Go freshen up, I’ll get it started.”
So the two of them hurry and do their homework together. As they’re working, they realize how fun it is and they almost lose track of the time until Boy B looks at the clock and they rush to school. Boy A runs behind Boy B, and they both laugh at how ridiculous the situation is. At school, they both usually keep to themselves, so this is fun for a change. At lunch, Boy B looks back at Boy A, and Boy A signals for him to come over. They both usually eat lunch alone, but it was nice to maybe eat with a friend. They both go to the cafeteria, and then come back to their seats.
“So, after the panic this morning, I didn’t even get your LINE.” “Oh. Oh, yeah! Seems like we should have shared that by now. Here,” and they both shared their id. Boy A says “I like the white Pomeranian you have as your profile pic.” Boy B seems happy. “Thanks. I like your tan chihuahua too.” They both have a fun chat, and get along well. They realize how much they have in common, and how fun it is to chat together.
That night, they continue their conversation on LINE.
Over the next few days, they have been friends for a while. Whenever one of them sees the other, they get this warm happy feeling in their chest and can’t help but feel happy. And on that Friday, they happen to meet at the shoe lockers again. Their conversation trails off. Boy A closes his locker. Boy B closes his. They turn around, and look at each other. Boy B reaches out his hands and they kiss, softly this time. They break apart, and Boy A reaches out his hand, with a determined smile on his face. Boy B smiles back, takes his hand. and they start walking home together. But then it turns into a run, and hello what happened last time. But this time they were all giggles. It was a Friday, so this time they got to have a sleepover. They spent the whole day hanging out, even went to shops and stuff, and then it was a lot of fun. After they went home for the day, they said goodbye. Boy A said goodbye to Boy B at the door.
Eventually they kept their own toothbrush and bundle of clothes at the other’s house. Boy B said one weekend, “Want to come over to my house this time?” so they go there sometimes. Boy B’s mom works the night shift and is almost never home, so she knows that Boy B has someone over sometimes, but doesn’t really know or care who it is. One week Boy A took Boy B home to meet his parents. He introduced him as his friend, and they were happy, and they all had a nice dinner. The parents left the next day, and Boy B had a nice sleepover that day and they played games and just generally had a good time.
One day they’re talking about that day and they flashback to their own respective perspective of the shrine visit they had that day, they decided to go for some reason, no particular reason for each of them and they did the shrine thing where you pray, and then on the way back Boy A saw a girl selling daifuku, and the girl said here, one half for half off so he bought it. Boy B went through something similar but after Boy A had already visited. They pass each other I guess. Then the next day in class it happened. End flashback.
So now they’re like best friends that make out sometimes. Boy A said one day“You make me happier than anyone else.” and Boy B said “Dude, same.” And so they laughed, got back to doing whatever, and they were happy together.
Eventually their third year was over, and they both got into the same college. It took a lot of late nights studying together to get there, but they finally did it! At college, they shared the same dorm room. They lived in a shared community, so there was a get together night. They were all sitting in a circle, and the two of them were next to each other, and they had their hands overlapping. One guy eventually asked them, “So, are you two guys dating or…” The two looked at each other, smiled, and Boy A looked at the guy. Then he turned and kissed Boy B. “Does that answer your question?” The two of them never said they were dating or anything, but like they were just best friends who make out sometimes.
Happy Together
chat gpt version of something I wrote
I wish I could write better because I don’t like chatgpt’s style sometimes
Episode 1 — “What Is This Feeling?”
⸻
The classroom was perfectly ordinary.
Morning sunlight spilled through tall windows, casting warm rectangles across the wooden floor. Thirty students quietly copied equations from the chalkboard while the teacher explained today’s lesson.
“…therefore, if we substitute this value…”
Boy A barely listened.
His seat was tucked away in the back left corner of the room. It was where nobody bothered him.
A few rows ahead sat Boy B.
Neither of them knew much about the other.
They had shared this classroom for nearly two months.
That was all.
⸻
THUMP.
Boy A froze.
His mechanical pencil slipped from his fingers and clattered against the floor.
His hand flew to his chest.
“…Huh?”
Heat.
A strange warmth spread through him, starting deep in his chest before racing through his entire body.
Not painful.
Not pleasant.
Just…
Impossible.
His heartbeat echoed in his ears.
He looked around the classroom.
Nobody else seemed to notice.
“…Am I sick?”
⸻
Two rows ahead—
Boy B suddenly stopped writing.
His pen rolled off his desk.
His breathing caught.
The exact same warmth bloomed inside his chest.
His head felt light.
His ears burned.
“What…?”
The classroom suddenly felt much too small.
⸻
Almost instinctively—
Boy A looked up.
Across the room…
Boy B did the same.
Their eyes met.
Time stopped.
The teacher’s voice disappeared.
The scratching of pencils faded away.
There was only silence.
“…”
“…”
Boy A jerked his head away.
Why did I look at him?
Boy B looked down at his notebook.
Who even is that guy?
Neither of them understood why…
But all they wanted to do—
Was look again.
⸻
The bell rang.
“Class dismissed.”
Chairs scraped across the floor.
Students laughed as they packed their bags.
Boy A bolted.
He practically sprinted into the hallway.
Get away.
Get away.
Get away.
His heart still refused to calm down.
Then—
THUD.
He collided with someone.
“…!”
Boy B.
The two of them stumbled backward.
The strange warmth exploded inside both of them.
Their faces instantly turned bright red.
“W-What are you doing here?!” Boy A blurted.
“I should be asking you that!”
“Stay away from me!”
“You stay away from me!”
“…”
“…”
Both of them pointed accusing fingers.
“Don’t follow me!”
Then they turned and ran in opposite directions.
⸻
Boy A leaned against the wall at the far end of the building.
His breathing refused to slow.
He covered his face.
“Tch…”
He’s just some random classmate.
I’ve never even talked to him.
Then why…
Why does my chest hurt whenever I see him?
⸻
Outside…
Boy B stood beside the school garden.
A breeze rustled the flowers.
He stared at the ground.
“…There’s nothing I want more…”
He clenched his fist.
“…No.”
“…There’s nothing I should want less.”
⸻
The rest of the day became an elaborate game of avoidance.
If Boy A walked down one hallway—
Boy B took another.
If one entered the library—
The other left.
Neither understood why they were running.
Only that seeing each other made the strange feeling stronger.
⸻
School ended.
Students poured toward the shoe lockers.
Boy A sighed with relief.
Finally.
He opened his locker.
Changed his shoes.
Closed the door.
Click.
Another locker shut behind him.
His entire body stiffened.
Slowly…
Very slowly…
He turned around.
Boy B was doing the exact same thing.
They stared at each other.
The warmth returned.
Not painful this time.
Warm.
Comfortable.
Like finding sunlight after walking through winter.
Without thinking—
Boy B took one hesitant step forward.
Boy A did the same.
Neither knew why.
Neither wanted to question it anymore.
Boy A reached out.
Their hands met.
Warm.
“…”
“…”
Boy B smiled.
It was small.
Awkward.
Almost embarrassed.
Boy A laughed.
“I don’t know what’s happening.”
“…Me neither.”
“But…”
“…”
“It doesn’t feel bad.”
Boy B nodded.
“…Yeah.”
The two stood there for another moment before Boy A scratched the back of his head.
“So…”
“…Whose house is closer?”
Boy B pointed down the street.
“Mine’s about a kilometer that way.”
“Mine’s only half that.”
“…”
“…”
“Let’s go.”
⸻
They spent the evening talking.
Mostly awkwardly.
They discovered they both liked old video games.
Both loved dogs.
Both hated math homework.
Hours slipped by.
Eventually…
Conversation faded into comfortable silence.
Night settled outside.
Boy B yawned.
“…I’m tired.”
“…Same.”
There was only one bed.
The two looked at it.
Then at each other.
“…”
“…”
“I guess…”
“…Yeah.”
They climbed in from opposite sides.
At first there was an entire pillow’s worth of distance between them.
Neither moved.
Minutes passed.
The strange warmth returned.
This time…
Gentle.
Comforting.
Almost sleepy.
Boy B quietly spoke into the darkness.
“…Can I ask something weird?”
“…Sure.”
“…Does your chest stop feeling weird if we’re close?”
Boy A blinked.
“…Actually…”
“…Yeah.”
Without another word—
They shifted just a little closer.
Shoulders touched.
The warmth settled.
Their racing hearts finally slowed.
“…Better?”
“…Much.”
“…”
“…Goodnight.”
“…Night.”
Within minutes…
Both were asleep.
Outside, rain quietly began tapping against the window.
And somewhere far away…
Something unseen stirred.
Watching.
Waiting.
⸻
TO BE CONTINUED
“Next Episode: Friends?”
The shrill buzz of an alarm cut through the quiet room.
6:00 A.M.
Boy A groaned and reached blindly across his nightstand.
Beep.
Silence returned.
He sat up slowly, rubbing one eye before remembering—
“…Oh.”
He looked beside him.
Boy B was still asleep, one arm hanging off the side of the bed, completely unaware that morning had arrived.
For a second…
I miss life before I consumed slop all the time.
who is a girl without her favorite youtuber?
who is a boy without his favorite anime?
how can tonic taste good and bad at the exact same time?
Okay so back in like 2nd grade, during math class kids would ask “Why do we need to know how to do this if calculators exist?” and my teacher would always say “You’re not going to always have a calculator on you at all times.” Nowadays, we basically do have a calculator on us at all times, so I thought, joke’s on her. But today, I was at the store and my phone died and there was a clearance section. It said “70% off price already shown” and so if I wanted to know the price, I had to do 0.3 times the number in my head. So, I guess she was right after all, and the joke’s on me.
Also later but unrelated I say like the gayest pink car ever (/pos) and they had a pink white purple indigo flag and I couldn’t immediately google it and I was like “oh so this is what it was like in the 90’s” (it was the genderfluid flag btw)
And then later in the car I had to sit there with no phone like back in the days when I was a kid. I looked outside the window at the posters and ads hung up in front of the gas station and it was ok and I kept thinking about stuff and I don’t know if I could have lasted if was for a really long time.
it’s my birthday I’m 37 :)

something strangely puzzles me about the 1975. it’s a band. they’re cool. except I don’t like them. but other people do?? what’s wrong that I can’t like it? is it just not meant for me? I like a few songs but that’s about it
it’s like it’s on a different wavelength or something and I’m visiting from an alternate dimension trying to understand
it’s like I have an allergy to their music but I can’t stop listening
the 1975
watch out the 1975 I’m gonna be a fan of yours soon
already like the songs About You and Oh Caroline which I learned are both about taylor swift actually wow lol what a cool coincidence yay

Don’t Pretend You Know Me (lyrics rewrite)
Trace my shadow slowly Like I’m something that you seek You don’t even know me But you act like we have history when you speak
How can we go back to being friends When we have never met? How can you look at me and pretend That we just shared a bed?
It was cold November You were deep inside your head I still remember All the silence in the room, all the words we never said
How can we go back to being friends When we have never met? (Yeah) How can you look at me and pretend That we just shared a bed?
The flicker in your eyes Doesn’t match the lies You tell — I see right through your smile You let me fall, then called it mild
How can we go back to being friends When we have never met? (Yeah) How can you look at me and pretend That we just shared a bed?
How can we go back to being friends When we have never met? (Yeah) How can you look at me and pretend That we just shared a bed?
That we just shared a bed Ooh, yeah
