Another thing I keep forgetting to upload! I wanted to go for a "space-y" vibe with this one, and used all the space-themed synthesizers I could find lol. Enjoy!

On a random impulse, I put some of Star Sweep’s Japanese text through Google Translate and got some pretty magical results

Here’s a little something I put together over the weekend: a Puzzle Star Sweep retranslation ROM hack!

This game was cheaply translated, so I wanted to try and see if I could make it a little more coherent. It’s not a direct translation (the text boxes are too small for that), but I tried to strike a balance between being true to the original text, including information that was lost in translation, and the whole thing not coming off too stilted. I'm not sure I succeeded, but oh well.

This is for the NTSC US version! Don’t try it on the PAL version; it probably won’t work. Though maybe I’ll redo this for the PAL version sometime?

I felt like sharing these because they’re pretty rad. These are the character profiles from the rare, out-of-print Star Sweep soundtrack which seem to have info not contained anywhere else. (Also some of the sheet music for Shitora/Tia’s theme)
