"This is Iceland’s fifth year in the top spot, meaning the nation continues to have the smallest gender gap of all the countries participating. In Iceland, there are over 1.5 women for every man in post-secondary education." - huffingtonpost
Iceland gave me the opportunity to;
seek the higher education I wanted
to go out on sea on a freezer troller when I wanted to
to stay at home with my newborns for eight months almost without salary loss
to seek the career that I wanted
to be a single mom building up a startup
to be who I am and who I want to be
There is a lot that the United States can learn from Icelandic Women Empowerment and I hope I can share some of that experience.
