Throwback to my Monkees jack-o-lantern from last year....

Some extra photos with very little change under the cut (I'm clearing storage space on my computer). Plus what it looked like (a few weeks later) with the lights on for proof. :)

So many toothpicks were involved in the making of this, I accidentally kept jabbing myself xD

The other pumpkins in those photos were carved by my sisters (their accounts are @wishsheephadwings and @savebatsfromscratch) and an exchange student. :D

Make a wild guess of which of those pumpkins, with a sheep and the bat, were by which sister....

"It Is Still Said To Be A Mirage"

Blue meets the New Species Pokemon in the woods. It's a little intense!

I've always loved the fact that Blue seems to have just run into Mew with absolutely no effort prior to Red running into them in the woods. Even though in canon he tends to be associated with one of the legendary birds, I associate him with this little creature.

Maybe one-day I'll make a post about the little AU I have surrounding all this. For now, though, I'll just post this! Not exactly a finished drawing, but one I thought looked quite good regardless.

Comms open / My design for Artemis is still not completely fleshed out in terms of what she's wearing, but I'm getting the general idea of what I think she looks like now. :)

I was hoping that bringing all the warm light to Apollo and all the cool tones (and less layered shading) to Artemis would make the two of them look like they were in different temperatures- a warm and energizing day versus a cool and refreshing night.

This isn't really my final design for Artemis (I'm always changing it), but I'm happy enough with how she looks here! As always, I love Apollo. <3

As you may be able to tell, this sketch animatic took me a rather long time. Trials Of Apollo (really the whole Riordanverse) is honestly a super huge interest of mine and it always has been. Ever since I read the first Percy Jackson book I've been kinda stuck in it- maybe I'll never leave!

Anyway, I am also very interested in the history of Rome. As you can imagine, reading the Commodus section of the Historia Augusta was very fun for me. The fictional portrayal of him in ToA is also interesting in my opinion, especially because Apollo is my favorite character in PJO/HoO/ToA... or really anywhere in the series.

So yeah. I like Copollo a lot. What can I say? The fact that they are not good for each other has compelled me.

This idea for an animatic was actually inspired by a post by @/apollosgiftofprophecy! (https://www.tumblr.com/apollosgiftofprophecy/751466998199926784/apollo-commodus-be-like-they-are-very-veronica?source=share) It seemed like a good idea, so I went for it!
