fyi: you don’t have to be restricted to buying from these stores! there are lots of other nice stores too. just make sure the store you’re buying from has a rating of 95% or more and their items have good ratings too.
tips for shopping on aliexpress
repeat after me: you 👏🏼 do 👏🏼 not 👏🏼 need 👏🏼 fancy 👏🏼 stationery 👏🏼 to 👏🏼 be 👏🏼 a 👏🏼 ‘good’ 👏🏼 studyblr! 👏🏼
the same item can be for sale at many different stores for varying prices so make sure you check whether you can find it for a lesser price somewhere (although most of the items I’ve linked here are at the lowest available price)
customers’ feedback is always worth reading!!! look at the pics the customers have attached so you know what the item looks like irl
while searching for any item i like to select ‘free shipping’ and sort by # of orders
don’t order from a store with a rating less than 94% unless the item has a high rating and lots of orders
aliprice is a chrome extension you can use to
check whether the same item is available on another store
check whether the item’s price has increased or decreased over time (sometimes stores double an item’s price for a day or two)
set price drop alerts for items
shipping time can vary from 2 weeks to to a month, depending on where you live and from where the item is shipped (usually china)
the aliexpress app has slightly lower prices and an image search feature
a lot of instagram shops (i won’t name them) are just selling aliexpress stationery for higher prices. if you see a nice ig shop then check if their items are available on aliexpress for cheaper (you can use the image search feature for this!)
if the item didn’t arrive or doesn’t match its description then you can open a dispute and get a refund (just make sure you do it before your ‘purchase protection time’ expires – it’s usually around 60 days and you can check it in the ‘my orders’ section + this process is easier than it sounds!)
